Best café i've been to in London. I had the masala potatos which were packed with flavour. The iced mocha that I ordered is right up there with the best I have ever had and I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur. Friendly and quick service + very reasonable prices. Strongly recommend1

Calm ambience, clean interior, good service, excellent seasonal food, great coffee.

Went there on a first date with someone. Seems like a nice cafe and the staff were friendly. Really enjoyed the lunch and the cappuccino.

Made a £20 order of an extra egg with a bacon sandwich. Some bright spark decided to pack the egg outside of the sandwich in the same box so it obviously exploded and made the sandwich soggy and inedible. Upon calling the restaurant I spoke with THREE different arrogant women who were all equally offended I had a legitimate complaint. They could not have cared less honestly. "We are busy" is not a customer problem "oh well ask for a refund" = appalling customer service. AVOID THIS OVER PRICED AND UNDER CAREFUL ESTABLISHMENT.

10/10 food. Will definitely be coming back. Loved it!!!

Lovely lovely spot! The chorizo brunch was DELICIOUS, so good to get dukkah that isn’t just dust 😂 Service really friendly and personable, and espresso + tonic an absolute summer pick me up. So pleased to have this place nearby but would definitely be worth a trip.

I live across the road from this coffee shop and I regularly get a takeaway coffee. Best coffee in N4 (and probably most of London). The staff are incredibly friendly, efficient and consistent in their quality. Would highly recommend ditching the chain coffee shops around the station and walking 2 minutes more to get fabulous coffee.

This place is a creative flavourful breakfast spot. The food has so much flavour and is really original. I love that they have a cabinet full of hot sauces. I will definitely be back here.

Been to Salt the Radish a few times now and it's never let me down, the food is incredible and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Even if you just want a quick coffee this is the place to come - probably the nicest coffee I've had London!

Worst drink we ever had. The chai latte (if you can call it that) was quite a joke. Tasted like fragrant hot milk with no taste of any of the flavours and spices of chai latte. And one of the barrister working there is quite unpleasant and sulky but the woman with the short hair was nice at least.

Had been a customer for years, until today, when after waiting for a table for 30 mins (and being told quite crudely that “no idea how long it will take” by the barista) and finally one table became free. Went to sit down, and again were told we had to wait until someone cleared up the table. Another three minutes went past, and after again being denied to sit down quite rudely (because “it is easier to clear up if you are not sitting down”) we decided to just leave. I think we had the “wrong look” for the place, maybe me and the wife were too “conventional” for hip London. Will not go back.

Very tasty & very friendly. A bit small though, so plan your visit ahead.

Cute and cosy cafe. I ordered a hazelnut hot chocolate with some almond brittle - a different topping to what other cafes offer but it works and makes it quite interesting. I got mine with vegan cream and it was delicious

We visited for brunch during our trip to London for the Arsenal ladies game. We were instantly struck by how much a part of the community the café was. The two front of house staff greeted people by name, including the local homeless community who were treated with the same warmth and friendliess we got as first time visitors. The food, coffee, and cold drinks were fairly priced and absolutely delicious, as was the bread we bought to take home. Highly recommend!

Great little cafe with delicious coffee and very good brunch and lunch menu. I particularly recommend the sweetcorn fritters. The staff are very friendly and service is very good.

I visited a year ago. A lovely warm sunny day. I revisited Friday of last week. Cold and raining. Breakfast at Travelodge Finsbury Park disgusting. I walked to Fine and Grosso in the cold and rain for porridge. A big mistake as the porridge was inedible. I retraced my steps to Travelodge Finsbury Park, checked out, then walked to Salt the Radish for a coffee. Luckily the rain had now eased off, but still very cold Lunch, baked goods, bags of coffee beans. I ordered a cappuccino. It was weak and insipid, the cup size too large. I did not eat, I was off to Pizza Pilgrims for lunch

A great place for light breakfast or brunch. I ordered a veggie toasty, wow! The best I ever had. The fresh chai tea is also very very good. Price is also friendly. The only thing is when fried-up is cooked in the kitchen, the whole cafe shop feels quite smokey. Other than that, it is the perfect little place.

I'd gladly eat anything off the menu - and I'm trying to work my way through. Really excellent brunch and nice setting.

A lovely little gem and safe haven within Finsbury Park. There is immediately a soft, relaxed vibe when you walk in because you are greeted by soothing neutrals, plants and a smiling staff member. Presentation here was first class. The cafe is decorated in a very chic style and all of the food looks as good as it tastes. We particularly appreciated the little heart on the coffee. They are very allergy conscious and they made sure to check with me that having nuts in the kitchen would be ok. The food wad delicious, we had banana loaf. The drinks we had were of good quality too. All in all a lovely visit ❤️

Very nice food, friendly staff, good atmosphere. On the expensive side - £30 for two breakfasts and two hot drinks, but I suppose that's standard. All in all would recommend.

This is my favourite place to go for breakfast in the Finsbury Park area (lunches and salads great too). Firstly, the food is incredible, well made and consistently good. I’ve lived in the area 6 years and it’s always maintained its quality! The menu has flair without trying to be too clever and they have delicious smoothies. The coffee is nice, there are tasty pastries, calming decor with an open kitchen and the staff are kind and considerate. An absolute gem of a cafe with a lovely vibrant feel that I always enjoy visiting!

Nice small cafe. Its usually full when I walk past, but there was space today. Good food at a reasonable price, with friendly staff, making it the best cafe in the vicinity.

Delicious breakfast menu & silky smooth coffee

There’s always a queue outside the hold for takeaways and I now understand why. Coffee is excellent and cheaper than most. Service was excellent and I like this system of getting your takeaway through the window. I haven’t tried the food but looks like a seasonal fresh menu which is inviting! Will definitely come back for the coffee - which is bitter but flavoursome

Wow! This meal totally made my day. Was having one of those grey days and then was greeted so nicely, given the most delicious memorable bagel and felt infinitely better. Wish I could give it 6*

Small and cosy cafe serving nice, homey food. I had a chorizo breakfast plate, and I really enjoyed it. The ladies who work here are friendly and helpful. I found this a cute spot for anyone looking to relax by themselves or with a friend over a small meal or some baked treats. I didn't try their coffee or teas but they looked and smelled good from those around me. Would recommend this cafe

Easy to miss this place on a busy road but one of the best Breakfast places in London I’ve come across having searched far and wide (and both sides of the river) for a tasty breakfast. I’ve been a few times after discovering it a couple of months ago and tried a bunch of different things. The menu’s got imagination with super unique little touches from different cuisines and the ingredients and flavours are really well selected and put together. Even the coffee blend they use is really nice and well chosen. Truth is I was kind of bored by the same old breakfasts till I found STR.

This is the best breakfast in the postcode and it's not particularly close. For my money the soy and chilli eggs is the best plate in London!

Delicious veggie Brunch options. Lovely friendly staff. I had an eggy bread special and swapped out bacon for halloumi to make it vegetarian with no problem. Fast service, all the baked goods looked amazing, just wish I had time to try! Highly recommended.

The Sunday team 3rd of July were phenomenal, exceeded our expectations and the food was seriously outstanding, and came quickly. I can’t praise this place enough, thanks guys!!!

Now one of our favourite places for breakfast and brunch. Wonderful homemade food. The salads are nutritious and light and the eggs are cooked to perfection. In addition to this, the coffee is smooth and the staff are friendly. This small spot on black stock road also is dog friendly and you can dine in or take away. One thing to consider, you might want to check that there are seats available before arriving, just to avoid the disappointment of not getting a table! :)

Favorite coffee shop I've been to in a while!! Everything on the menu is delicious and it's a great space to work from. The menu prices are outrageous either! And the staff was very friendly! 10/10 would recommend

My favourite coffee spot. Haven’t tried the food yet, which looks very nice as well and hope to try soon. One thing I would recommend to the owner though is to improve on pastry side of things. Often the pastry is not fresh and thats kind of disappointing and not appropriate for a coffee place. Good luck

A small, relaxed cafe serving both takeaway (from a hatch) and eat in. Today I ate in and had their brunch special 'chilli oil eggy bread with bacon' which was unlike anything I've had before. A two stack of seeded eggy bread (French toast) with perfectly cooked, high quality bacon, a good drizzle of crispy chilli in oil. Topped off with a few slices of fresh red chilli and coriander. DELICIOUS. I can' wait to go again. The staff were really lovely too - I felt very relaxed eating and reading my book.

One of my favourite places for brunch or to order in from. The menu you has plenty of tasty vegan options and beautiful, creative flavour combination if you like to try something different. I have never been disappointed ordering from here and the staff are really friendly, even offering a book to read for my friends son. Would highly recommend.

One of the tastiest salads I have eaten in a long time and I am a 25-year+ vegetarian. This cafe is small, charming and really thoughtful food.

Very cozy, good music, great coffee, very friendly staff. And there is this little "extra" thing that got me in there : a small window for take away, the cutest thing on Blackstock Road :) This is probably gonna become my regular café.

Popped here a couple of times to buy their sourdough loaves - with or without seeds. Absolutely first class bread: any fan of sourdough bread should try this out! I also tried a really quite tasty vegetarian sausage roll and a slice of the most amazing orange cake. Staff are most pleasant too. If I lived closer to the shop I would most definitely be a regular!

They sell tasty coffee from a hatch. Looked nice inside although we didn't go in.

What a treat...went here after a haircut and had the nicest oat chai and vegetarian Schnitzel with dill, pickles and lovely crisp cibatta..Delicious!

Bought a brownie at salt the radish today it was embarassing - at least two days old. I had to throw it in the bin.. outrageous! Have also posted a video on instagram so you can hear the stone-like sound of this old brownie.

Really good breakfast bun. Had the BAE - bacon, smashed avo and fried egg rye roll. Was really tasty, the roll was amazingly crispy, egg yolk still warm and runny, with a generous serving of crispy bacon. The coffee was also really good - I had an americano which was decently priced. Conveniently located near Finsbury Park should you need a place to sit and enjoy!
