This is a lovely find tucked away in the new quadrangle on Gotherinton lane. Just popedin for lunch and so pleased I did. Everything was fine and they deserve a few more visitors

Had an amazing stay at the hotel. Peter was such an amazing person, made us feel welcome from day 1. We stayed 4 nights myself and my partner, with the view of the sea from our bedroom. Breakfast was always of high quality everyday, along with a great service from Peter. Can't fault this hotel for the location, and great service. I would also like to thank the owner for posting an outfit I had left behind..thank you so much for your kindness.

Why oh why have I not been here before? Booked on a Saturday night at 8pm and went as two couples on a table for four. Loved the atmosphere, food was faultless - personally the best swordfish I have ever tasted, on a bed of roasted asparagus, mixed vegetables and puréed potatoes. The Baba Ganoush, Hummus and Tzatziki with breads and olives were exceptional. All the staff were smiley, happy people and the time between courses was spot on - a meal out should be a full evening affair to savour good ambience and great food. Jamaican Grill House makes the best food in the area. It's our favorite local restaurant. The grilled fish are off the charts good. The oxtail, ribs, and curried goat are all outstanding. So is everything else, really. Our staples are the fritters, plantains, a beef patty, and then whatever main dishes we're getting with rice, peas (bean), and cabbage-based salad. (Add lemon and olive oil to the salad.) It's a small restaurant with only outdoor seating, so we usually get takeaway, but it's outstanding, and the guy who runs it is really nice. We go about once a week. Highly recommend. (Note: I don't usually review restaurants here, but I think most people don't know this place and it's worth drawing attention to. It's our favorite local restaurant, they're super nice, and I hope they flourish so I can keep eating their great food.)

What a nice place! 🥰 The coffee was great and the cake was absolutely delicious. And the goats are fun. An absolute recommendation!

It was horrible soggy not fresh 😕 barley touched it waste of 32 quid has this weird smell and taste not nice at all and the next day after I only ate a small amount to taste I had running stomach all day 😅 😀 great we usually love chinese practically binned all of it request refund or half and bring it back declined offered more food as compensation lol

I’m not one for writing reviews, but I have to say this is by far the best Chinese food in Manchester never mind Heywood. Fresh and tasty Good Portions On time Value for money There is not another Chinese and English takeaways in the area that can compete.

What a wonderful meal last night 24th April 2025. Menu was well planned and executed. Service was brilliant and food absolutely delicious The themed nights and taster evenings are really not to be missed. The decor is modern and well thought out. Nothing is too much trouble. The students really deserve high praise indeed. Well done everyone.

Popped in for a take away coffee and I was warmly welcomed. Great coffee. Would recommend and go back again.

Awful food. Chicken was tough and little flavour. Bhaji and samosas where clearly reheated and inedible.wont be using again
