Spent an amazing afternoon here trying lots of local ales. Can't really count food miles here, more like food feet as most are brewed downstairs! The weekly food offerings are fabulous. 31/5 - Mac in a box which was amazing!

Pumphouse has a great vibe for some really tasty beers that they have brewed. There is a food van there and it is only open on Friday and Saturday nights. I have also used them to provide barrels of beer and the pump for home parties. Very attentive service from Zsolt and cheaper for the barrel than the equivalent cans while so much more enjoyable!

We spent an evening at the Pumphouse during a recent stay in Driffield. A bit difficult to find, but definitely worth the effort. Great beers, really friendly staff and an all round lovely atmosphere. We had some tasty Jamaican food too. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Cheers

10 Craft ales on offer. Situated in an industrial unit. Bar is on upstairs mezzanine floor. Food is available as street quisine from a mobile vendor, which will vary from week to week. Downstairs table seating available also. A popular and novel addition to Driffield.

We weren't sure quite what to expect before we arrived but were very pleasantly surprised on arrival. Don't expect the traditional 'pub' experience - this is a small brewery opening it's doors on given days of the week. The public area is on the first floor within an industrial unit but the area itself is warm, friendly and very comfortable set with an 'industrial' style/décor which works extremely well. There were 10 ales on offer and we tried 4 which were beautiful. Today, food was provided by 'Little Somboon Kitchen' which was incredibly tasty and for which I shall be leaving a separate review. Overall a very satisfying visit and my wife and I will be returning again with friends. 5 stars all the way..

Went along Saturday night 3rd October. It was the first time we have been since lockdown and was great to hear some live music again. Yes very difficult situation to try and balance social distancing with people to still be able to listen to live music but it worked well and the guys behind the bar and the Yorkshire cheese street food were very regular in coming round to make sure that our glasses and our stomachs were kept full. This is a great place to visit as it is a local micro brewery so good for a drink even when there is no music on. Looking forward to the next music night.

Fantastic beers brewed at the venue! Large selection that should satisfy all. Good price when you consider they can't match quantity of large breweries, but the upshot is who would choose a naff lager over these great beers? About 15 mins leisurely walk from the train station. In an industrial park just off Skerne road and not directly visible from the road. Very easy to find though. At time of writing they were observing Covid rules excellently.

The "street food" was just oven chips with a sauce on top. The sauce was stone cold in places as if it had been incorrectly microwaved. Not worth £8.

First visit last night 16.8.19 with my partner to The Tap Room at the Pumphouse Brewery in Driffield. Had a good evening trying out the various beers & ciders. Was a bit disappointed with the ciders on offer not a particular fan of Coleman ciders (& more partial to the flat/non fizzy ciders) but thoroughly enjoyed the beers, favourite was the orange saison closely followed by the American Wheat beer with lemongrass. Also enjoyed trying the lovely Jamaican food provided by a visiting trader (think they were called Yabba?) Loved the decor of the place & enjoyed a chat with the owners (excited by their plans for the future, ie more visiting food traders, live music & more great beers been brewed) Give this place a try, it's well worth it & if beer or cider isn't your thing they have wines, gins & soft drinks to try. Looking forward to our next visit 😊

Somehow last week a new brewery popped up on Facebook, a new brewery just a train ride away in Driffield. Having a spare day to explore this new tap house and to visit Butchers Dog micro pub, just a couple of minutes walk from the station, I hopped on a train. Driffield is blessed with a lovely Victorian train station that leads out onto the main road of Driffield, but being terrible with map apps I ended up finding the Butchers Dog first as my app told me I was getting further and further away from the brewery. I had some time before Pumphouse Brewing Company opened so I settled into the Butchers Dog which is a lovely micro with plenty of real ale choices. I tried the Arrow pale ale by Green Lincoln brewery and the Turbine Porter by Stringers of Ulverston in Cumbria. Pleasant snug micro pub atmosphere with friendly bar staff and even snuck back for another drink before the train home. After leaving the comfortable surroundings of the Butchers Dog I realised that I needed to come straight out of the station, across the road down Beverley Road and make a sharp turn onto Skerne Road. You follow this down past industrial units until you pass the last houses on your right and see Twydale Business Park on your left. Walk straight to the back of here and you'll find Pumphouse Brewing Company located in one of the units. From the outside the only sign is the Pumphouse logo on the unit but as soon as you enter the aromas of brewing and the site of brewing equipment soon let you know you have found your destination. I was welcomed by David one of the co-owners and was shown around the brewery and tap house which impressively only opened three weeks ago to the public. I was lucky enough to sample all their beers currently on tap and the brewer and co-owner Zsolt then took over and let me sample works in progress. I tried a session IPA dry hopped a few days before with Amarillo and Cascade hops. Zsolt was still not happy with his tinkering and you could see a true brew master who wanted perfection in his beers, this beer was tried before secondary fermentation but still tasting good and looking forward to trying all this beers again when on tap. Next Zsolt handed me some New Zealand Pale Ale, higher ABV than the first probably a 6.5% when finished, using Wai-iti Hops for citrus flavours and Rakau Hops for fruit flavours. Zsolt said should be a peachy flavour but this of course went straight into my subconscious and it did taste fleshy and fruity and couldn't help then but then taste peaches, I imagine this will be going on the tasting notes. Zsolt loves to experiment and lived and worked in America in the Boston area for five to six years, in the early 2000's when the virgining craft beer scene was just taking off and you can see a true passion for craft beer in both David and Zsolt. The last beer we tried from the tanks was brewed four days before, this is the New England Pale Ale. Wheat, oats and pale ale malt make this a delicious 4.5% to 5% hop juice when finally put out on tap. Zsolt has ideas for twists to his beers constantly as we sample and this make the tap house and brewery so worth visiting as it will constantly change what is on tap. He has had many real ale drinkers that have been won over by his keg beer but as Zsolt says he is just making good beer that he would want to drink. Zsolt loves sour beers but not quite sure the local population is ready just yet, but I for one will be back to try Zsolt's beers again. Thank you to David and Zsolt co-owners of Pumphouse Brewing Company for a great day of tasting truly crafted beer in an amazing tap room that was like walking into an American tap room via an industrial estate in Driffield. I will be back, cheers.

Foodie Heaven ! Amazing experience. We tried the current seasonal menu which was an 8 course taster experience. The menu only gave a slight hint of each course. The food creations we tasted were unbelievable. This is fine dining at its best. Not cheap but definitely worth it for our special occasion. The service was impeccable, very professional and just the right level for this high end restaurant without being stuffy. It's a shame that more people weren't eating there on a Saturday night. If you love food elevated to another level give Whites a try.

We regularly visit here, and loved the cafe but recently had a very bad experience due to a customer not keeping their dogs on a lead. We have an anxious dog that we kept on a very short lead but another customer had theirs off lead and they kept coming up to our dog, which resulted in ours trying to bite their dogs. The other customer shushed our dog and wouldn't put theirs on a lead!!! I think there should be a rule that customers must keep their dogs on leads. It has put us off returning. Just because your dog is friendly doesn’t mean others are
