Foodie Heaven ! Amazing experience. We tried the current seasonal menu which was an 8 course taster experience. The menu only gave a slight hint of each course. The food creations we tasted were unbelievable. This is fine dining at its best. Not cheap but definitely worth it for our special occasion. The service was impeccable, very professional and just the right level for this high end restaurant without being stuffy. It's a shame that more people weren't eating there on a Saturday night. If you love food elevated to another level give Whites a try.

Absolutely delicious meal. We opted for the 4 course tasting menu and everything was superb. Couldn’t fault the food, ambience or service. Couldn’t understand why it wasn’t busier! Go and support an innovative chef who cooks great food at reasonable prices. A wonderful experience- thank you!

Have visited half a dozen times pre covid twice since. Every time has been exquisite. Taster menus are phenomenal. Lovely atmosphere, quiet and a very small number of covers means a private and personal feel that I value. Highly recommended.

We visited Whites for a birthday treat yesterday evening and opted for the 9 course tasting menu. Every single course was absolutely wonderful and the service was equally as good. We couldn’t recommend the restaurant enough - thanks very much for a lovely evening!

You can rely on being served excellent food prepared with care and attention to detail. The menus are always rich in flavour and variety. Whites is a little gem and never disappoints .I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Exquisite menu which was obviously created with much love and passion to give your diners a sublime experience. That also extended to ensuring we got a taxi back to our hotel which was no mean feat. Sincere thanks for the care in your food and in looking after your diners.

excellent food, really enjoyed every course , 9 of them . Really good atmosphere and very covid safe. Only 2 niggles : It got cold at the end of the evening and soft drinks VERY expensive. That said HIGHLY reccommended

Well what can one say,booked this restaurant for last night of our fabulous trip to Yorkshire Could not book online as they were having problems so we called and was told not a problem we will pencil you in for dinner on Saturday night called tonight to confirm as we hadn’t got any information from them and was told we don’t have a booking for you.he then said we emailed you the next day to say they were fully booked but guess what we didn’t get that !!! So we are now in South Yorkshire looking to go in to town and spend our money in a restaurant that will not lie .will never book this restaurant after this I don’t care how good they are customers service is so poor

Absolutely amazing from start to finish we went to celebrate my wife's birthday and it surpassed our expectations I would recommend getting the pairing wines that accompany each course

Fantastic food, the staff are very friendly and it’s a great environment to eat in, it’s not enormous so there isn’t a loud background noise, I’ve been twice now and just booked again, if you like fine dining then I would say this is the best place in the area. Thanks all

Very stylish a lot of attention to detail and customer satisfaction

We had the surprise tasting menu. Small, cosy place. Each course of the nine came out with an explanation of what it contained. Not a bad course among them. The ox cheek was incredible as were the desserts. However, whilst the food was near flawless, it was £70 per head with water and a glass of wine. Not sure about that. Not. Sure.

This was our second visit to whites . All I can say is ... Absolutely fantastic. The good lady and I had the 9 course taster menu and wine flight. I can sum up the food , wine and whole dining experience in one word . AWESOME .

Thoroughly enjoyed a surprise 4 Course taster menu and was so impressed can’t wait to return. This is not the place to go if you want quantity over quality. This is the place to go if you want a real dining experience that surprises you. I was a bit phased by ox cheek but tried it, loved it, finished every morsel. My wife can’t stand rhubarb but she again tried it, loved it and finished every morsel! If you enjoy trying something new this is great. If you’re a fussy eater would be best emailing prior to booking.

Outstanding, John and his team are superb. My partner and I had the 9 course taster menu with various wines everything was absolutely stunning. My partner is also a coeliac and they catered for her dietary requirement effortlessly. I strongly recommend visiting Whites if you have even a modicum of appreciation for this kind of dining.

Saturday lunchtime, no other diners so not much atmosphere , no menu but explanation by waitress.Nice combination of dishes with interesting flavours , especially the dessert.Good wine list.Friendly waitress , reasonable prices.A greeting from the chef would have been nice.

We visited Saturday night so had the 9 course taster menu. The food was simply amazing! So good waiting for each course not knowing what would be coming next. The chef recommend a wonderful white wine to accompany our meal followed by a wonderful shiraz to finish. The two waitresses who served us were very polite and informative and are an asset to this restaurant. We all had an amazing time. Will certainly be visiting again.

Had a excellent night with my wife, the food was really nice. We left there fully satisfied and I could not fault the staff.
