We regularly visit here, and loved the cafe but recently had a very bad experience due to a customer not keeping their dogs on a lead. We have an anxious dog that we kept on a very short lead but another customer had theirs off lead and they kept coming up to our dog, which resulted in ours trying to bite their dogs. The other customer shushed our dog and wouldn't put theirs on a lead!!! I think there should be a rule that customers must keep their dogs on leads. It has put us off returning. Just because your dog is friendly doesn’t mean others are

Really nice little cafe, with homemade deserts and good coffee, hot chocolates and milkshakes to mention a few. Nice views with animals and close to the disabled riding place and is located at the beginning of the river Humber walk that joins North Ferriby to Hessle.

This is a great little place to stop to get refreshments when walking the stretch of trail from Humber Country Park to North Ferriby. We got hot drinks and sandwiches and crisps for three people for £17.80, and it was good quality. We sat outside with our dog, and got chatting to other friendly walkers, so a really good atmosphere. They also put out blankets so people could wrap up if they felt cold, a loverly touch. On google maps it looks like it is not there, but I think the picture is quite old.

I had the pleasure of visiting Riverside Walkway Cafe recently, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. But what truly stood out was the food. The menu offered a delightful variety of options. I can't recommend Riverside Walkway Cafe enough. If you're looking for a place with fantastic food and wonderful service, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be returning soon for another memorable dining experience.

Always friendly. Lots of water bowls for pets. The food is always of a high standard. Scones are worthy of a bake off final standard.

We went for a walk with my 18 month old daughter along Ferriby foreshore. We found this lovely cafe tucked away and stopped for a drink. Had a lovely garden/play area for my daughter to play in that was safe and secure and loads of toys for her to play with. I would recommend it to anyone, and we'll be back again.

Had hot drinks, latte was ok, tea came in a mug with milk already in it. Scones came already buttered and jam on top . No one asked if we wanted milk , expected it to come in a small jug with tea in a pot and a cup and saucer. Scones should be served on a plate with a knife, with butter pats or in a small pot . Jam should also come in a small pot. Not everyone likes thick butter and drowned in jam, people like choice . Also not particularly the cleanest place. Skirting boards were dirty. First visit , very disappointed, sadly won’t go again

The parsnip soup is spectacular, the prices are super-cheap and it's for charity, so there's your excuse! If the horse charity is reading this - You defo should raise your prices :)

We were one of the last customers so it felt like the staff just wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. Cakes were nothing to write home about and other than being handed a cup of tea and cake there wasn't any 'service' so nothing much to say about the staff.

Having walked from Hessle to North Ferriby along the riverside my wife & I stopped at this cafe for a coffee. This was our second visit, the first was about a year ago. We received a warm greeting from the young ladies in the cafe who took our order, 2 lattes which were served quite quickly. Oh dear, the coffee was awful, hot but very weak. It had no taste. The premises were not at all clean, leaving a lot to be desired. The toilets were the same despite a notice on the wall saying they were inspected on a regular basis, not so as the list had never been completed. We shall not be using this cafe again.

Spent an amazing afternoon here trying lots of local ales. Can't really count food miles here, more like food feet as most are brewed downstairs! The weekly food offerings are fabulous. 31/5 - Mac in a box which was amazing!

Foodie Heaven ! Amazing experience. We tried the current seasonal menu which was an 8 course taster experience. The menu only gave a slight hint of each course. The food creations we tasted were unbelievable. This is fine dining at its best. Not cheap but definitely worth it for our special occasion. The service was impeccable, very professional and just the right level for this high end restaurant without being stuffy. It's a shame that more people weren't eating there on a Saturday night. If you love food elevated to another level give Whites a try.
