Fabulous sandwiches made to order, always filled to the brim, fabulous cakes made daily billionaire brownie is to die for. Once you have had one there is no turning back
I've been going regularly to this pop-up stall for the last 5+ years. It is one of my favourite places in Basingstoke to grab something to eat...it's just a shame it is only around on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I would probably go here far more often if was open all week. Highly recommended if you catch them in town. This is definitely THE place for Thai food in Basingstoke...I haven't seen anything this good since Kwai 2 closed down in Lychpit.
It is authentic Thai food with great variety of choice. I will usually buy some Moo Ping (pork skewers), chicken satay or fish cakes if I am after a bite of lunch; I buy the Chicken Massaman if I want to buy something for dinner. The aromatic and natural flavours are definitely different (in a good way) from the Asian "chain" eateries in Festival Place. It's as authentic as it gets.
The servings are very generous and prices represent value for money...they could put the prices up a bit and it would still be decent. They only take cash so you need to come prepared...the only cash I have around in my room is literally just a fund for this place.
The only downside is that there is often a 5-10 minute wait to be served as they are very busy. I think this is a combination of them being very popular but also service being relatively slow. I have sometimes baulked at the queue and regrettably had to eat somewhere else due to time constraints.
Another epic Omelette and the Prawn Cocktail was to die for 10/10
The staff couldn’t do enough for you as usual , it’s the best Bacon I’ve tasted really thick I asked the young member of staff where she gets it from she told me Peters Food Service
Fantastic little find. Wiggle through the wine shop to find a lovely little bar at the back with helpful service & a cosy vibe. Really helpful lady running the shift (very well indeed!) recommended a delicious Greek wine which was perfectly reasonable at £33 for a bottle. We’re local & will certainly return!
My husband and I both agree this is the best authentic pizza we have eaten in some time. That includes visits to Italy!
Andy and Michelle are friendly and welcoming; ordering and paying was very straightforward.
Well done to them for providing such a treat in our area. We shall definitely return.
I was luck enough to get 2 seat at the ‘pay what you want’ evening. I can honestly say it did not disappoint!
8 individuals sat round a table, enjoying wonderful food. A brilliant concept!
Each dish was carefully thought out and tasted insane.
Alex and Laurel were easily able to cater for my gf needs along with the normal secret menu!
I will be ordering take out soon so I can share their amazing food with my Husand.
Checkout their website and get your name in the hat for one of these brilliant evenings!! Good luck, you will not be disappointed!!!
We’ve not been for ages but tonight we had another fantastic meal with great service. Highlights were the octopus and fish curry but everything was top notch.
You won’t find a better menu or restaurant in Bristol. Going to try their roast in a few weeks and we can’t wait.
First visit to Bruntons restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.
Excellent food, service from Emily was first class, priced very reasonable too.
We all enjoyed our meals and will certainly return.
Can’t leave this without mention of the seafood spaghetti dish. Wow, just wow.
