First time visiting and will absolutely be back. Staff were lovely and welcoming, food was exceptional. Everything was tasty and delicious

Visited last night for the first time, we had heard really good things from others and my god it did not disappoint!! Staff were lovely and friendly, service lovely and relaxed and the food absolutely delicious!! The prices were very reasonable. Then we ordered the cocktails… wow they were amazing!!! We will definitely be back soon! A wee hidden gem

We had a amazing Sunday roast dinner After trying various restaurants and pubs in surrounding areas and Edinburgh nothing will beat the Stobsmill inn for quality in the taste and portion size Special thanks to chef Michael Emily and Val for looking after us during our excellent meal Finished the afternoon upstairs in the bar area and again we’ll looked after by Daniel and Emily with amazing cocktails and excellent beer Thanks again and look forward to returning soon Paul and Julie

Wow. This public house is hidden amongst other houses on an unassuming street and then appears a fairly standard albeit fun pub inside. Downstairs is the restaurant which is nicely separate from the pub. The service was great, but the food was excellent! The fried fish as a starter was enormous and perfectly cooked. I followed it up with the steak pie and the creamiest mash. Others in my party were similarly complimentary of the fish and chips. I would undoubtedly return here and have already recommended it to friends in the area.

this was a surprise party for my 90th birthday an afternoon tea which lovely nicer than some I have had in fancy hotels all my friends raved about it & we had a lovely afternoon with family & friends & my niece came from Canada & said on her next visit she will definetly come for a meal staff & everything made this a perfect day thank you very much I will be back .

Lovely Inn. Me and my girlfriend went in for lunch. Food was great. My girlfriend had tomato soup and I had spaghetti carbonara. The best spaghetti i have ever had. The staff were really friendly. over 21's only so good if you don't want noisy kids spoiling you drink or meal We will be back.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, nice people there. We had fantastic afternoon there. We will come back definitely😊

What a superb experience - again. Have been previously for a Father’s Day lunch. All 3 of us raved about our food - presentation is excellent - flavours outstanding. Service - first class. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Had a delicious meal last night. We shared a bruschetta then I had lasagne and husband had duck. Great selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Both loved every mouthful. Duck “ best I’ve ever eaten,” which is praise indeed. Hats off to the whole team. We’ll be back - soon!

Up visiting family and called for drink and lunch. I can honestly say that your staff are a credit to you. The food was excellent and good portions and service was excellent.

Amazing eating experience. From the moment you walk in to the cheery friendly waitress, the decor,the lay out etc was 1st class. Nice menu,spoilt for choice ,and the food was amazing,tasty plenty and perfectly coked. Well done guys ,will be definitely returning

Visited last night for the special Valentine's set menu. Once again the chef and the staff excelled themselves. The food was amazing and very attentive service. Well done to everyone who made it a special evening. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
