05/12/2019: This must still be the best place to eat in town..... bit pricey but well worth the must book to be guaranteed a table....just Love it... cant wait to return....
02/12/2019: Really enjoyed the atmosphere- relaxed and almost romantic. Loved the monkfish, however, the risotto was well overcooked. Staff could be a bit more "down to earth"... Overall, pleasant experience

Harry's Bistro

Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey
06/12/2019: This must be one of the best places to eat in Beaumaris. Service is exemplary, gluten free readily available and even offering to cook dishes separately to ensure gluten free. Food first rate. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Creme Pen Cei

New Quay, Ceredigion, <20£
19/11/2019: I was so looking forward to ice cream and we have been leaving in Pontgarreg for over 3 month when I finally manage to get one the last week before they shut for the season. Well the staff must have the patience of a saint with so many choice the crow of four us could not make up our minds. Lucky it was getting late so there were no other customers. Finally when we did chose it was a fantastic ice cream come on next season.

Bouchard Restaurant Inn

St. Julians, Newport
20/11/2019: My wife and I had the pleasure of returning to Bouchard's on a recent trip to Newport. Newport has many great restaurants but for us Bouchards is the best! The food is exceptional as is the service. Make sure to try the souffle!
14/11/2019: Enjoyed my dinner there as part of Newport Restaurant Week. I had the duck, which was great and the dessert plate was really nice. Service was OK for the price. Not sure I'd go if it wasn't restaurant week as it is a rather expensive place otherwise.

Y Sgwar

Porthmadog-Tremadog, Gwynedd
04/12/2019: Went with friends and had the early bird christmas menu, the food was lovely and good service. Will be back again, lovely decor as well
27/11/2019: Visited here with family for lunch. The restaurant has been recently refurbished and is contemporary and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. There is a choice of menu's, perhaps because of the run up to Christmas. We all chose different dishes and everyone enjoyed the food, which was well cooked with decent portion sizes. The restaurant was very busy so I would recommend booking in advance. We will certainly go back.

Bistro Bermo

Abermaw, Gwynedd, 20-30£
25/11/2019: Not only the best restaurant in the Barmouth area but actually one of the best I've ever been to. Food perfectly cooked (I had monkfish). Its a tiny place with 16 covers but a really cosy, friendly atmosphere, good waitresses and the owner/chef came out to check if everything was OK and had a really nice chat about sourcing fish and his obvious passion for getting the best ingredients and cooking them perfectly. Well done, I love it when people go the extra mile to do things well.
18/11/2019: Dining here is a must every time I am in Barmouth. Such a tiny restaurant but manages to make you feel welcome, cossetted and looked after every time.

The stowaway coffee co.

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
18/11/2019: Everything was fine - lovely little place. Owner/barman pleasant and chatty. Very cosy. No idea why the review insists on 100 charcters
04/11/2019: This little place was brilliant - such a good find which we stubbles upon whilst exploring the harbour. Great coffee, even better snacks and cakes! Really friendly staff and great feel to it. Meant to go back but ran out of time - would definitely come back on a return trip to Tenby!! Bring cash, as there’s no card machine but lots you’ll want to buy!
