Plantagenet House Restaurant

Tenby: North, Pembrokeshire
15/04/2019: We stopped in after a very windy walk around Tenby. The Plantagenet was rammed, but they managed to find us a table for 4. The food was good and very hearty portions. The service was great and very efficient - a tightly run ship. All in, a good Sunday lunch on a cold blowy day.
13/04/2019: Our friends first took us here a few weeks back and the food blew me away, I had the oysters to start and they were sublime. We all had fish dishes and everyone was delighted with their choice. The ambience is fantastic, they have made a very special place here and the bar downstairs is just gorgeous. Have been back for sunday lunch and that was amazing too!

Ty Golchi

Dewi, Gwynedd
17/04/2019: My family and I had a delicious roast dinner. The meat was tender, all the vegetables delicious and the gravy moreish.
13/04/2019: A friendly, welcoming bistro serving breakfast and lunches, great menu choice and good kids menu too. Plenty of parking and easy to find, it gets very busy always a good idea to ring and reserve a table rather than stand and wait.

Gershwins Coffee House

Castle, Swansea
11/04/2019: I come here at least once a week, always welcoming and friendly. Great service and food. Great value for money, very good portions.
29/03/2019: My husband and I popped in today as they had veggie options here. We're so glad we found this little gem. Easily the best breakfast we've ever had. I don't say that lightly, we've eaten in a lot of cafés and even on a cruise. I ordered the veggie option and my husband had the normal breakfast. The food arrived piping hot and the cup of tea was the same. The plate was absolutely full..I gave some to my hubbie as there's no way I would have eaten it all. 2 hash browns, beans, 2 eggs, fried mushrooms, and tomatoes and toast. Barrie's was a bit smaller than mine, only 1 egg, so it worked out well. I can't understand the review below mine... That wasn't our experience at all. Thank you for making us so welcome and filling our tummies!

Old Rectory

Crickhowell,Llangattock, Powys
11/04/2019: Stopped here for dinner on our last night on the Brecon & Monmouth Canal just a 5 minute walk from bridge 116 or a nice 15 minute walk from bridge 118 which is a great mooring place. The food was fantastic from there new menu which has not been out long, the waitress Lisa was very efficient and certainly knew what she was doing and it is also dog friendly in the bar area, we will certainly be returning next time in the area. A great end to our week on the canal. Thank you
10/04/2019: This is a fantastic looking old house. However the decor is straight out of the 1970’s.
