Canton, Cardiff
05/09/2020: We've eaten at this restaurant on at least a dozen occasions since they opened. We live close by, and it's the sort of place we go to when we've had a busy day / week, and need some "comfort food" and drink. On our latest visit we had the Crunchy Cajun (veggie) and the Stateside burgers, with skin-on fries and slaw. As usual it was top notch. Good range of drinks including locally brewed beers from Crafty Devil. The service was (as always) excellent. They also do take aways, but have recently re-opened the restaurant following the Covid-19 outbreak. The staff wear visors and seating is well distanced from others.Definitely recommended, and good value for money

Ty Golchi

Dewi, Gwynedd
19/08/2020: I had lunch at Ty Golchi and immediately I arrived I felt safe. Firstly there was a Track and Trace to sign which was reassuring, all staff wore masks and the tables were safely distanced. And that was before I got to the food! That was, as always superb. It arrived promptly and was delicious. This was my first venture out from Lockdown and I must admit I was a bit anxious. I needn’t have been. They participated in Eat Out Help Out but I would have gladly paid full price.Ardderchog. Werth pob ceiniog!!
15/08/2020: It is a lovely cafe/restaurant, the food is lovely and the staff are very pleasant. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the paintings on the wall are beautiful. They also had beautiful cakes, which I very much wanted to sample today, but was unable to. The service needs a little work. I did mention it when I paid, and received an apology, but still no cake. Please train the staff a little better, I would love to visit again as you’re right on our doorstep.

Plantagenet House Restaurant

Tenby: North, Pembrokeshire
06/09/2020: Definitely an interesting place to eat - good atmosphere. Good welcome, service was good. Not great quantities of food. Chips were poor. Definitely over priced.
05/09/2020: Tucked away down a little narrow street but offering a good quality menu based around fish. We had Moules Marinere as a starter. Some of the best we have had. Crab sandwich to follow. We enjoyed it and the service was good

Gershwins Coffee House

Castle, Swansea

Old Rectory

Crickhowell,Llangattock, Powys
12/09/2020: We stopped here for a meal after walking on the very nearby canal. Amazing location, surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside. The staff were amazingly helpful and attentive. The food was ok, nothing special - pub grub. But was welcomed the time.
26/08/2020: Limited menu due to covid but lovely fresh food if a little overpriced. We had the pork & the chicken. Starters weren’t anything special but the mains were really tasty.
