The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Turkish food

My friend and I went with our little ones. We asked if we could see if our toddlers would sit and eat. If so then we would obviously pay the difference between eating in and take away. Three members of staff were adamant that this was not acceptable (and treating as as if we were trying to pull wool over their eyes) therefore we had no other option other than to leave with a take away. We also asked for one skewer of chicken shish (for a toddler) however the staff said that they only do two skewers at a price. Someone please enlighten the staff at this restaurant about the importance of customer service and being flexible. Both my friend and I left feeling very unwelcome here today. Staff here definitely need some training on customer service and meeting the needs of everyone, including those with families and young babies. I won’t and don’t recommend this place with anyone with a young child or toddler.

This restaurant has now changed hands and is now Elite Bar and Kitchen - but I can’t add it as a new restaurant here! Really good food and friendly service on a Monday lunchtime. Restaurant only opened this weekend.

We ordered from you tonight. I'm not into getting takeaways but my partner is. Genuinely so so tasty & plentiful. Please support these guys and their business!!

Great place not to busy during afternoon. Got 0% alcohol beer in tab what was a plus. Out side garden with seats cover from rain and wind.

I have been here a few times and the food has been good. I went here with my daughter about a month ago - the staff were very friendly and the cake and drinks were nice. However almost immediately after eating I felt ill and by the time I got home both myself and my daughter were very ill with stomach pains and diarrhoea. I politely contacted this cafe the next day as I thought it was important they knew that there was a problem - maybe the drink machine hadn’t been cleaned correctly or the cake had bad eggs. But they did not respond, I have followed this up twice with no response. This is really bad policy and service. I have been advised to contact the local health dept too and report this establishment - sadly I will NEVER eat here again as food safety has to be the number one concern and it clearly isn’t here.

Hemos estado aquí un par de veces para el desayuno, pero la primera vez que fuimos a cenar era mucho mejor que los grandes restaurantes turcos nombrados en Haringey! Amazing takeaway but they are so expensive!

¡Este es el verdadero negocio! El mejor falafel que he probado desde que Max cerró. Auténtico estilo isrealí. No es mejor en Baltimore seguro. A un precio razonable. Excelente servicio. Edon sabe sus cosas y muy educado. No veo la hora de volver.

Solo diner arriving at 8:50 Monday evening,greeted with what i can only call disappointment. Having eaten here before i knew what i wanted but was questioned if i would be able to eat it all!(not really any of their business and i also pointed out that takeaway was available through online providers so a box to go home with wouldn't be a problem!)...more critical eyes raised. I ordered a beer and some to eat whilst waiting,my main course came,was thrown in front me and was told i had 20 minutes to get out of the place. There was no offer of another drink nor a check to see if everything was OK...just sullen glances in my direction while the front of house guy played loud videos on YouTube. This made the whole experience horrible and unwelcoming. To add to this cash only payment was demanded and at the end of the meal i needed to go the bank(maybe 4 doors down the street)...on my way back the front of house bully was greeting me on the pavement saying that he's waiting for me,i paid and didn't even receive the correct change...i was ushered out and when i said that the experience was bad his reply was just he had somewhere to go and drove off in his 4×4 BMW .....I'm shocked,saddened and disappointed.

Bit sad that the big restaurant at the southern end of Mutley has closed and seems to have split into a smaller takeaway and eat in kebab and burger place with rest of the old restaurant looking to be metamorphosing into a new barber shop. But all is not lost. Soon after Christmas when we were using Colin Campbell car park we spotted the Shawarma logo sign on the back door of the 3rd or 4th shop down on the southern side of Frankfort Gate. Evidently the business continues in some form and at least deliveries are being picked up from down there.

The doner kebab, chicken burger and chips were incredible and the lady and gent were more than lovely! I’d happily just go back to talk to them and luckily amazing food comes alongside that!

A fabulous service from this restaurant, very friendly and extremely helpful. The manager was professional and kind. I would very much recommend this establishment.

Today was my first time trying this place, and honestly, it will be my last. I went in hoping for a good experience, but instead I was met with pure rudeness and aggression from one of the staff — a skinny guy with a terrible attitude. When I asked him calmly to relax, he started bringing up religion and basically implying that I’m a bad person. Completely unacceptable, disgusting behaviour. A big thank you to the other guy working who was polite and professional — he was the only positive part of the experience. The food itself was good, but after how I was treated, I had no appetite left. It honestly made me want to throw the food in the bin. Really sad and disappointing. Definitely not coming back.

Very very bad food. Small bowl that was half empty. The beans was not more than 5 pieces that’s how bad it was. Glucomole was rotten. I do not recommend at all. Total waste of money and I paid about £19 including delivery. I think the restaurant did think intentional knowing it’s a long process to put a complaint. Run run!!
