Mangal BBQ in Bedford

Usually order a delivery from here, not good today, obviously staffing problems, ordered a chicken kebab, usually salad comes seperate however they forgot the salad, chips overcooked and cold and the mrs found a black hair in her chicken wrap, shame really, goodbye mangal grill.

We ordered a takeaway from this place. It arrived on time but the food was awful. The doner meat was extremely dry, crispy and flavourless to the point it wasn’t even edible. The falafel wrap was also very dry. The food arrived cold so had to be reheated. I wouldn’t waste your money here. I certainly won’t be ordering from here again.

This is the best place in Bedford/kempston to get a kebab. The pomegranate saled is to die for. Would highly recommend this place.

Quality food everytime we've ordered. Tonight I ordered and delivery time was set for 6:52pm which I thought was slightly too accurate. Bang on 6:52pm the doorbell rings. Food arrives....hot and tasty! Superb!

I have had a few takeaways from Mangal BBQ in Kempston, sadly the prices have gone sky high and for what you get you are better of cooking at home. I did enjoy the meals from Mangal, I would recommend this takeaway.

We regularly order from Mangal BBQ and it's our favourite Turkish restaurant in Bedford. The chicken shish is always flavoursome and tender - and we really like their rice, chips and hummus too!

We like the food here, but the prices have increased massively in the last month. Chicken kebab from £8 to £10.50 with no explanation. It’s a shame as the food is nice, but on a four person meal, it’s quite a jump in price, disappointing, cheaper places with same quality elsewhere

I ordered a Lamb kofta, Ribs, chicken shish and chicken wings. The food taste and quality is very high standard. The chicken and Lamb both very tender and taste is amazing. The salad and sauce is a generous portion and delicious . This is by far the best turkish food in bedford. Customer service is very good. Keep up the excellent work.

Had a meal this evening and I had to throw the kebab away as totally covered in Mayo... As a rule you get small tubs of chilli and mayo in your order and it is MY choice to put this on food... however the food tonight was bad as you could not see the meat for mayo, also under cooked and tasted awful, Went in the bin, The Lamb Shish was no better, I am so fed up ordering crap food and it is not as if it is cheap.. Far from it, I will not order from here again..

Delicious, tender meat and lovely rice & salad. Have ordered the share platter many times and never fails to satisfy. Highly recommended!

I’ve been looking for a local charcoal grill since moving to Wootton and I was given a recommendation to try this place, I did not disappoint! I order a special, all the meats cooked fresh over hot coals, Turkish rice and pilaf, salad, home made chilli sauce, haloumi cheese (added extra) - the portion was very generous, it all tasted great and even the lamb was tender which I find a rarity for takeaways (usually cheap stringy fatty cuts of lamb are used but this was not the case). I was pleasantly surprised to find that I knew the owner of this shop from a previous takeaway in Bedfordshire, he’s a nice guy. The ladies working working with him were also helpful and friendly. Good service all around and I look forward to my next visit.

Me and my wife have tried both the fish and meat platters. What can I say they were both amazing. By far the best takeaway we have had in a very long time

Eaten here twice as takeaway and its very tasty. Would like an option of mixed kebab with some doner but apart from that. Good salad, sauces and flatbread also. Thanks

Absolutely Delicious. The food was fresh and piping hot. Very Succulent meat and the flavours were very appetizing, couldn't stop eating, even, when I was full. The location of Mangal BBQ is a little hidden inside Springfield Centre, but when you get there, you can smell the aroma of the BBQ. That was one of the reasons why I went there, and I am glad I did. It is food I will keep going back to, as it is so fresh 💯

Tasty and very satisfying food. The Meat is so well balanced with flavour, unlike other Turkish places that are quite salty. The Meze Salad is fresh and delicious and the Best I have tasted in the town. I recommend this place 100%

Ordered on a Friday night and had hot food delivered in just over 30 mins For 2 people we ordered the sharing platter, which along with the shish meat (lamb and chicken) came with 4 lamb ribs and also chicken wings Bread, rice, cous cous and salad also provided along with plenty of dips Really tasty - will definitely order from here again

We had a tip off from a friend that we should call Mengal because quite frankly we’re sick of the limited choice of fish and chips or Chinese near our village.Wow! We weren’t disappointed! We got the sharing platter with rice and cous cous which was very generous in its portion and babaganoush which was delicious. The meat wasn’t greasy and wasn’t dry at all (not overcooked). It came with plenty of dips and was a real mix of flavours. What a refreshing change it made!Delivery was super quick! He was done and delivered in 30mins and customer service was great. We have ordered twice now and will continue to order with this great place. At the beginning he didn’t have a card machine but now he is on just eat so it should make things easier.Fantastic!!!!! Food to die for!!!!

The menu offers great taste. We ordered for the first time tonight after getting the leaflet through the door. Amazing, all of the food we recieved, with gorgeous bread and a baklava treat. Well worth ordering.

Ordered the family meal £45 extra chips total of £50 worst Turkish food iv ever eaten if u like proper Turkish food go to Istanbul bbq on Tavistock street bedford it’s a lot better then this place the lamb was raw and the chicken was very dry no taste to anything on the plate only thing that was ok was the bread and the dips
