The Leyton Star in Waltham Forest

Great place not to busy during afternoon. Got 0% alcohol beer in tab what was a plus. Out side garden with seats cover from rain and wind.

Had a lovely dinner at the Leyton Star. I had the bacon double cheeseburger and my partner had the Oklahoma Smash burger. Both were great, really tasty. Best of all though was that we'd ordered some hot honey chicken tenders and these were fabulous...so good in fact that we ordered another plate of them to share. Staff were lovely and attentive, pub was clean and comfortable. Would definitely eat here again.

Had a karaoke night here for my birthday yesterday. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, and were part of making it a really great night. Would highly recommend, fantastic way to spend an evening. Thanks guys.

We love this pub. We went there for the Europa Conference final. The whole place was full, including the garden and upstairs. You’d never know it as George and his team gave super service as always. I don’t think I saw anyone waiting to be served during the 6 hours we spent there. What a great night. I booked for 16 people and everyone has contacted me to say how good it was. Thanks everyone at the Star. We’ll be there for the start of the Premier League season if not before.

Great service last night at the Leyton Star. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy. Atmosphere was also good with sky sports available.

Great pub with warm atmosphere and friendly staff - we hold a book club in the function room upstairs and George and his staff have always made us feel super-welcome. Shine on, Leyton Star!

I regularly come to the Star for great food and friendly service. They have a terrace which is a sun trap out the back with a games room and I had a delicious roast on Sunday. About 20 of our friends came on Sunday and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Would recommend!

Enjoyed watching the boxing here. It was busy with a good atmosphere and the bar staff were nice. Good amount of quality TVs too.

When in London, we love this pub for our early evening drinks. Friendly staff, good craft beers and relaxing atmosphere, Will try the new Sunday lunch too, looked very good.

My all time favourite local pub. This hands down beats all its sister pubs and the other pubs in the area for drinks, atmosphere and friendly staff. The burger menu is great too. Relaxed, cosy and good outdoor (covered!) seating.

Eventually had an enjoyable evening on Friday 4 December. We had a lot of problems ordering on the app - 2 out of 5 orders failed - including a nearly £50 food order (not just for me honest). Staff were great and worked their socks off - just a pity ordering was so difficult

Oh boy... If I was to put my visit to this fine pub into two words... I couldn't. I and my godson visited pre-lockdown and what a d-light. Burgers? CHECK. Beers? CHECK. Caring Staff? Check. It's a triple! My godson was blown away by not only the grub but the atmosphere. He tried to beat the wing challenge but could sadly only eat five-and-a-half. A pathetic attempt but fun nonetheless. Once this lockdown is over I'm polishing my crutches and hopping on the Overground to lovely Leyton. See you soon! PD
