Excellent selection of foods primarily Turkish. Well presented and cooked, friendly helpful staff. On the expensive side. Good toilets, wheelchair accessible. The friendliest most helpful service possible and the food just kept coming. Wonderful.

The Kunefe was a crowd-pleaser! Highly recommended! The service here is excellent. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. There is only two word for this place 'THE BEST'. We ordered the jumbo platter and we struggled to finish it. The food was enough for 7 people. Love this restaurant and keep coming back. Their food is always flavoursome. Decor is modern and stylish, the restaurant is very spacious. Toilets are clean. We had mixed cold meze and lamb kebab, as well as fried mushrooms. Everything was tasty and fresh.

Visited early evening on Monday. Service was terrible . Waited over half an hour for food after ordering. Staff looked as the priority was to serve the deliveries first (Deliveroo , Just eat etc ). When the food arrived it was excellent quality and big portions.. Also looked as if they they were short of serving staff compared to the number cooking for all, especially deliveries. Would return but hope service impoves otherwise next time will be our last visit. Gunes restaurant nearby is for me a better restaurant.

This is my go-to for Turkish food. Today I may have to look else where, why??, your portion of food has changed, I’ve always ordered the Large Lamb Chop meal x2 for me and my partner. The portion of rice, salad has always been generous but today not so much, the rice portion has been reduced by at least half but the price is the same!!….not a happy customer.

Amazing service from when we were first sat down. Jasim and huzaifa were especially brilliant with everything. He made us feel very comfortable and welcome at the restaurant. The other servers were also really helpful and welcoming. Will definitely visit again

Really bad I said my package is open already I wrote customer servise but they didn’t care and not resolved problem.

The reaction given to us because we arrived 10 minutes early was extremely ridiculous. It could have been said in a more polite way. They did not come and give us any information. I think it is quite wrong to talk to a customer like this and ignore them.

We ate here tonight as a group of 7 and it was wonderful! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and you got so much! Definitely recommend a visit if you love Turkish food!

Exceptionally good, the best Gokyuzo we've been to (and they've all been fantastic). What set this one apart was the service, with fresh bread arriving before we'd finished the one we had started on (we didn't waste anything) and the rest of the food coming out super quickly. Everything up to the usual high standards. Only watch out if that the beer is quite expensive at this one - £7.50 (plus service charge) for a pint. However, it was definitely a 5* meal.

While waiting for our table to be cleared, a waitress named Shukran approached me and my son that was in his stroller with an astonishing level of rudeness. She demanded that we move out of the way, accompanied by exaggerated facial expressions that conveyed a clear message of hostility. Shukran's aggressive demeanor, coupled with her discriminatory actions, created a truly distressing and unwelcome atmosphere. The sad part is that we have been regular customers for more than 4 years and she has served as many times before. Such rudeness to long standing customers is just mind boggling Never going there again.

I had a fantastic experience at Gökyüzü Walthamstow. The hygiene is top-notch, and the food is fresh and tasty. The staff are amazing—polite, helpful, and always welcoming you with a big smile. They even accommodated my gluten-free bread and personalised one of my favourite dishes, which I really appreciated. The portions are generous, and the plates are beautifully decorated. Excellent menu, prices ok but seems to have gone up a bit, staff are lovely. Upstairs and downstairs seating area.. serve bread and a yogurt dip thing with salad whilst you wait for your meal to be served.

I can't express how much I love this place. Its a bit on the pricey side but you get a lot of extras for your money including really fresh and delicious salads and breads. I just love the fact that there are so many vegetables and everything is freshly made. What I need when I'm feeling a bit rundown.

I ordered 3 different dishes and all of them was full of chilli powder and souse , all was red covered with actual dry chilli, I have pain in my belly after trying this food, I was surprised that all (all!!) 3-4 different (!) dishes were full of so spicy chillies, all burn, never saw such presentation in any place, I don’t know who can survive after this amount of chilli they put, it’s really crazy I have to take wash my mouths and take a medicine after

They are put service charge for drinks. If you have a beer or coffee get ready to pay. Ridiculous. Every each restaurant in UK taking service charges only , if you had a meal in the restaurant, if you have only drinks it's up to you. But there no. Waiteress there serving you like they are gives you a favour, faces just not unhappy even shows an attitude. Food is good the rest it's not well. That is why I'm ordering online.

Great quality turkish food set with a lovely ambient atmosphere. Was greeted warmly by our waiter Yashar and seated. He was happy to answer any questions we had on the menu, and was very attentive to us on the night, which was much appreciated. Cocktails and platter were amazing, can not fault at all, and very reasonable for the price paid. Would highly recommend! Thanks again for a special night!

I really enjoy Turkish food but this wasn't the best and the price omg we paid nearly £300 4 adults and 2 kids, my first request was to be seated upstairs because it was a special occasion. I was told it's closed upstairs but when I went upstairs I saw 3 tables with customers I was angry, I also clearly said to avoid anything with nuts and the idiots give us humus which has nuts in it, my son had allergic reaction.

Last week I bought 4 wraps and 5 lahmacun. Your wrap and lahmacun breads are hard. My teeth hurt. Your doner kebabs should be hard and soft. I guess the meat does not suit a restaurant like this. I will never eat either lahmacun or lahmacun there again.

the food arrived very cold, we had to reheat it all. the lamb was over cooked, dry and not fresh. quite upset due to the reputation, normal experience and cost.

I ordered the traditional pizza, but it had no flavor, I asked for cheese to be added to the pizza and they were kind enough to do so, which I appreciated. The only good thing I ate was the salad.

Food is amazing, but I was very disappointed when I went to have a Turkish breakfast with my family. An Old lady who serves there she came to me and told me that I didn't pay last time my coffee, which I paid in cash and I received the change. By the way i finished my breakfast and I paid for my breakfast and the last payment she thinks I didn't pay. I have decided not to go back to that restaurant again, the reason is she came in the rude way and unprofessionaly where others could hear and I felt very bad.

Halal. This is a well decorated Turkish eatery with average-above average food. I have tried the Chicken Shawarma and the Lamb Shawarma on a few different occasions and found the flavours and the quality to be inconsistent. The breakfast platters are good value. I have also had the same experience when ordering a delivery. Customer service in the restaurant is generally good.

Couldn’t get a booking for their Chingford branch, so had to settle for this branch. I’ve eaten at this branch & Chingford before & had many take away orders, the food doesn’t disappoint. Salads are crispy fresh & all meats are perfectly grilled. Some items such as the pide & mojitos are quite pricey, otherwise staff are friendly & food arrives in a timely manner. Good restaurant if there’s a large group, we were 10.

Booked a table for 10 people for my fathers Stag, the food was fast and good quality. Almost every dish tasted great and looked great. The shish and the Turkish style pizza was fantastic. Good selection of food and drink. Highly reccomend the houmous aswell. Overall a fantastic experience and a great place to eat.

The bread was not Cooked when we asked them to change it they burn it for us. The lady that she bring the bread to us the way she spoke to us was so rude and inappropriate my husband didn’t even eat his food because of her way of talking to us. Went in the evening with my family. Staff are not exactly welcoming or not very talkative. There is a wide variety on offer for specific dietary needs. Luckily I checked the bill as I had been overcharged. I would go back again as I enjoyed the food. Place is mediocre.

The manager in this place thinks he is smart by reducing the food every 5 days, when I asked I see every month food is becoming less and Less and I pay 70 pounds , his response was I gave you salad. What an idiot you are, I will chase this with owners and you need to be trained how to speak to customers… Guys DONOT waste your money there …. You are a disgrace to this community Gokyuzu
