The best restaurants serving Thai food in York Yorkshire and The Humber

The pad thai, and yellow veg curry was unreal! Really nice atmosphere in the food market too. Very good portion size. Will definitely become a regular.

Very good food but overpriced, small portions.

We have eaten here many times, the food is usually really good, but it does depend on the cook on that day. Saturday we went in the lunchtime special, the service was good, but neither the starter or main course were to the usual standard regarding taste, another issue was the food was actually cold as it had been put on cold plates, we sent it all back, the second attempt, the food was marginally warmer. So just be warned, the food here can be amazing or absolutely rubbish.

A little on the pricey side- would recommend going early for the early bird menu. Would recommend booking in advance if planning to go on a Saturday evening. Food is tasty. Nice atmosphere but can be chilly if seated by the doors. Great service- attentive and friendly. Only one toilet which is placed just outside the kitchen so if it’s occupied you will find yourself standing in the way of the staff and in front of other diners (I can understand this is not their fault but just to be weary of). Only thing we had which I wouldn’t recommend is the pad see ew as it didn’t have that nice smokey, charred taste to it. The pad kee mow was delicious (as was everything else)!

Had an amazing meal here. The food was some of the best Thai ive ever eaten and i live in London with some fab Thai restaurants. The restaurant was very cute, the staff very friendly and also the food was very reasonably priced dor the quality

Been to Khaosan Road in York a couple of times previously when we’ve to the theatre but hadn’t been for a few years until last night. We’d loved the food before & it didn’t disappoint after the years. It’s now tapas style - suggestion is to order about 3 dishes per person but we just ordered 2 each plus rice and that was more than enough. Had the Chicken Green Curry, Lamb Massaman, Chicken Satay & Battered King Prawns. All delicious!!

Only been once before and this time it was even better! Pucca’s great service was also fab.

We had a lovely meal. Sharing a starter platter, then a variety of mains..curry, noodles, rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. Thank you x
