The best restaurants serving Thai food in England

We read reviews before going to Alnwick and restaurant sounded fab .. sadly Restaurant doing take away at present.so didnt sit in ..however it was honestly OUTSTANDING. NEVER tasted thai food so fresh it was my 50th and quite honestly it made my day....we got a takeaway and it was a meal we will never forget .This is a message to ANYONE who lives in or near Alnwick. If you want fresh... exceptional authentic tasting thai food packed with flavour and like to spend ure meals going..nom..nom..nom....out loud...this is the place for YOU.

Best birthday meal in years! Fabulous food and service!! We were greeted at the door with lovely smiles and seated immediately.All the food we ate was a total delight and served in exemplary fashion...nothing too much trouble! They appeared to actually enjoy looking after you!!

Qué FANTÁSTICO untable para nuestra comida del sábado por la noche, al igual que habríamos tenido en nuestro pueblo en Tailandia. Pedir era muy fácil, la comida llegó a tiempo, envasado muy bien, cocinado a la perfección, sin duda vamos a utilizar la cocina del mediodía de nuevo. *****

Realmente disfruté de la comida. Pasé algún tiempo en Tailandia hace mucho tiempo y el país tiene algunos de mis platos favoritos. Me encantó que me recordaran lo genial que es esta cocina con auténtica cocina. Estábamos bien alimentados y regados. Sopa Tom Kha con verduras, un curry vegetal / tofu y 3 cervezas bajas en alcohol por poco más de £ 30. Se subvenden con el servicio cobrando mucho menos del 10 % para un grupo grande, donde muchos lugares se pegarían 12. 5% para un grupo de más de 8 personas antes de sentarse. Si te gusta el tailandés, te gustará esto.

Authentic, tastes just like it does in Thailand

Just had the best street food I have ever had the curry and rice was amazing you can choose from a range of different curry’s and different heats The dad and daughter team that run this fantastic stall are so friendly that I can’t wait for next Saturday and apparently they are there at the Wednesday market as well

Wow I have found them again, I did not know where the cafe had gone since the market closed. So pleased they have a new venue and as usual the food was just as good as ever, tasty, fast service and friendly. I will be visiting again often now, the only reason that I would visit Huddersfield town centre. The cafe suits everyone with low cost meals and plenty of seating.

As I walked up to the front door to enter the restaurant, looking around outside made me think I hope inside is better than outside. The weeds, dead leaves, fag ends etc outside the front door was not the first impression you’d want. Gave me the impression of if this is what you can see what’s the rest of the place like u can’t see. Very shoddy first impression. Interior is tired, carpets absolutely filthy going upstairs, the gents toilet at the top of the stairs was filthy, stank, and was only half lit as lights not working (probably for the best). The staff all be it pleasant enough we’re so scruffy in appearance, jeans and an old tea shirt, they looked like they just got out of bed. There was a time when all the staff here were in full uniform, very smart authentic clothing, they looked like they wanted to be there instead of “this is a chore attitude’’. Onto the meal, this was not too bad actually, the food was pretty good and plenty of it. Value for money excellent. Wouldn’t take much to turn this place around to what it once was. . I’d say

Another faultless visit to this (almost) hidden gem. Great food, all freshly prepared on the premises, & the usual care paid to friendly & accommodating customer service. Been coming here for just gone 2 years & it's always been top notch, will be back again soon.

Lovely and extremely tasty food. Very reasonably priced. The staff are very helpful in selecting the dishes and the food is in plenty. Lovely atmosphere too. Definitely will visit again.

The best thing about the food was that the portion size was good. Bland over-sweet sauce - probably from a jar. Dry meat. The merest gesture of salad - why bother? Cold plate so the food went cold quickly. The service was poor, unhelpful and perfunctory. Their loud conversations on phones & with a visitor gained far more of their attention. Reading all the gushing praise from all of the other reviewers, maybe I went on a bad day, maybe I missed something? Maybe the chef was having a day off?

This restaurant is good for food that is healthy and food that can be prepared quickly when you need to be somewhere. I saw it also has a great hygiene rating. The food is also tasty.
