Thai No 5 in Stafford

Absolutely loved my evening celebrating my birthday last weekend and the food was lovely I asked the young waitress Amelia for recommendations and she didn’t disappoint helping us choose a meal we both would like. Amelia was a delight and looked after us throughout the evening I will definitely return to try more from the menu and the service was fab 🙂

My partner had never eaten Thai before and hasn’t stopped raving about it. Pleasant place and lovely staff. Will definitely be revisiting and would absolutely recommend

We enjoyed the place, the food and the service was so kind. I requested my favourite curry was tamed a little chilli wise and tofu instead of meat and fish. Beautifully done, not a problem. Please, review the house wine. I had one mouthful and instant acidic tummy problems. Your food is worth more than to accompany the dish. I ended up taking mine home which is sad. This is such a wonderful place and we will be back. Ordering different wine that's for sure.

We had Tom yam soup to start and it tasted the same as the freshly made from Thailand. Our mains were so tasty I wanted the meal to never end. The noodles were large portions so we had 1 between us The flvours were amazing I think I have converted my husband to thai food over Chinese food. Although similar thai is better

Wonderful welcoming Thai restaurant in Stafford. Great choices on the menu, prompt service and fantastic tasting food.

Food was nice. understaffed . But pleasant .Wine was diabolical . Pino Hungarian toally rubbish had to order bottle rose between us.dissapointing that they choose poor wines so spoil the experience. Took the rubbish wine away poured down drain so they couldn't resell . Waste of money.

We had not been for a few years and thought we should retry and revisit old haunts. Certainly proving to be one of our best and popular New Years Resolutions, having already been a couple of times for the lunch menu this month. After each visit we are already planning what we will try on the next. Excellent choice and flexibility for the vegetarians amongst us and super value served in this lovely little restaurant tucked away on the outskirts of Stafford. A further and equally important reason we have enjoyed our lunches so much has been down to the cracking service by Amelia, who we have to say is a credit to the restaurant. Next lunch date already in our diary.

Me and my husband visited at the weekend (Saturday) for lunch and what a lovely restaurant. The food was lovely offering a wide range of meals. The young girl who looked after us was delightful and really made sure we were looked after, excellent service with a smile. Will def come back

We visited on a Sunday and was a lovely restaurant and the food was amazing catered for the whole family and the children were very content, we had a lovely waitress called Amelia who went above and beyond , great service and she really made our visit, smiley and friendly and great with our children. We will def visit again

Lovely friendly service good quality food. Had the set menu B portions are quite big. However, all the dishes were really nice. Would definitely recommend this eatery. It did get really busy but didn't affect the standard of service.

We went on a warm evening where the restaurant quickly filled up which is always a good sign. Food and drink was reasonably priced and although busy, food was served quickly. The jasmine rice with coconut cream was very tasty. Good ice cream at 2.95 too. Overall a good experience l would recommend

Our party of 5 enjoyed a first class two-course lunch, with friendly and efficient service and delicious food. The menu gave a substantial choice, and at a very reasonable price. Highly Recommended.

We’ve been to this restaurant many times but was really disappointed this time. The customer service was v poor and not up to the usual friendly standard. The attitude of the front of house staff was poor and they definitely needs some training on customer service and how to place the meals on the table. I asked for our mains to be delayed slightly while my partner went for a cigarette. The young girl shouted through the kitchen door so the whole restaurant could hear. The food was nice as normal. Definitely needs some work if it’s to compete with other restaurants in Stafford.

The 'Mixed Started' is very good, but could have been be EXCELLENT if it weren't for the soggy/tasteless fish cakes = swap them for something else of you can..... The Chicken Pad Thai was SUPERB = wonderfully tasty and a reasonable portion. If I had to pick-out/suggest something that could have easily make their meals more enjoyable, then that would be..... Make the plates HOTTER = Our meals went cold very quickly, and although staff kept saying "Mind the plates are hot"... they weren't. Carpark is about 40 meters away and is £1 for after 6pm evening parking. **Note** No draft beers = Bottled beers only = Small in size & expensive = Nearly £4

We have been a few times now on a lunch time. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and has a decent selection. The food is really good and the staff are really friendly.

Went for first time on Saturday. Decor beautiful. Staff fantastic attentive without being intrusive. Food incredible. Definitely recommend.

Best Thai food I’ve had in the UK. It’s more like a fine dining not like the most Thai street restaurant, but the prices are reasonable. The food was really nice, only one thing to note that it doesn’t serve Thai iced tea
