Excellent food, as close to Thailand as we have had. Ann was very welcoming and really friendly. We will definitely be back.

Some of the best food I have ever had, and it is in Blackburn, of all places. To be honest Blackburn has got some great little restaurants, and everyone is very friendly. I have never had a poor dish, the quality is out of this world. Thank you, and I'll see you soon.

I shouldn't really tell you this, but Rak Thai serves the best Thai food we have eaten. The beauty of this restaurant is the fact that it is small and very personal. Ann produces fresh food to order, will spend the time with you to help you choose and will adjust the taste/heat to suit you. Rak Thai is now a regular destination for us. We have our favourite dishes of course. One visit will make you want to return. Guaranteed! Don't let the area it is in put you off. You will not be disappointed. Note that this restaurant is not licensed so your final bill will be a pleasant surprise. I hope this review doesn't make it difficult to get a table now.....

Decided to take the family out after we’ve been to Rak Thai on several occasion and have always enjoyed her cuisine. This evening with the 8 of us, it didn’t disappoint. Everything was perfect, food was amazing as always. Ann always delivers excellent food and is a very friendly and welcoming person. We recommend her to all our friends and family. I adore Thai food, and we've never had anywhere local to buy it. This is my new favourite take away, it was absolutely delicious, and the people are total legends, so friendly and welcoming. We will be back many, many more times. We took our food home as we didn't realise you could eat in, but we will definitely consider sitting in next time.

Absolutely wonderful Thai food, freshly prepared by Ann herself in an immaculate kitchen at the rear of the restaurant. This was our third visit to Rak Thai and each time we`ve visited, the food had been excellent. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Best Thai food we`ve tasted and will definitely return time after time. There is a takeaway service also if you`re in a hurry.

The food here is very good All cooked fresh to order which may mean a small wait but well worth it I can never decide what to order so trying to work through the menu The specials are always super 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Reccomended by a friend for takeaway. Excellent. Well priced, lovely and clean presentation inside, friendly staff and food was wonderful. I think I’ll actually go to eat in next time, but great option. Especially the veggie middle child who loved the Pad Thai and creamy curry. Rest of the mob loved the beef dish and the sweet and sour chicken. Spring rolls and prawn toast for starters were devoured. Think I ordered Dim Sum as well but it wasn’t there, so I may have missed that as I called my order in. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Second time I've been here & as wonderful as the first time. All food lovingly prepared & served with a smile & care. Tried 2 new dishes & they were absolute taste sensations, packed full of flavour. There will be a third visit, & a fourth, & a fifth, etc. 😋

Wow …. The food was excellent, can’t wait to try it again , the thai omelette was very good .. had the beef in oyster sauce and that also was very good , lots of beef , can’t wait to try something different next time

Simply WOW! The food was stunning, prepared from fresh on the premises & served straight to the table. The service from the husband & wife team was brilliantly refreshing, taking time to speak to diners about the menu & taste sensations that awaited us. & as for value for money, I would happily have paid more than we were charged, such was the all round experience. On thing to note, it's not a licensed establishment but you can take your own drinks. I would heartily recommend this restaurant & will definitely be eating there again in the future.

Great meal Thai soup and the green curry highly recommended. Spotlessly clean and the owners Anne and Matt couldn't do enough for us. There's no license so bring your own booze. Cheers

We visited Anne’s with a group of friends. Hadn’t been before and love Thai cuisine. The meal was on another level. Freshly made, authentic, delicious and the best Thai meal we’ve ever had. The service was amazing, relaxed, friendly and Anne and partner couldn’t do enough for us. We will be be going back and highly recommend this fabulous restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Fantastic food and great service. Please don't let the area put you off! We where a party of 16, we filled the place. We had pre ordered. Ann and Matt where very organised, all the food was hot and tasted delicious. They where very friendly and accommodating. We took all our own alcoholic drinks which is an added bonus! The restaurant was very clean and very good value for money. We will be back!

The couple that run/own it are wonderful. They couldn’t be more helpful, welcoming and friendly. The kitchen is spotless. The food is all made bespoke, fresh and to your taste. The flavours all come through, the portions are generous and the prices are great! They also do takeaways. The atmosphere’s happy and fun. Other customers who were here clearly come back a lot, and we heard a couple who were trying it for the first time asking to book the place out for tomorrow night, they loved it that much. It’s BYO too and there’s a shop down the road. Gorgeous meal and experience, thank you both. Ann, you’re a whizz. See you next time we’re in Blackburn!

Came across Rak Thai after searching for halal Thai food in Lancashire. Very pleasantly surprised. Delicious authentic food especially the green curry. Ann is lovely and very welcoming.

Ann was very helpful when we made our reservation. Great atmosphere in the little restaurant, where we could see Ann cooking in the kitchen and working so hard to freshly prepare all our food. The portions were a good size and all our dishes tasted...

Went for lunch.. Staff friendly. Ann was lovely and her cooking was very authentic, fresh and flavoursome.
