Phais kitchen provided some of the best authentic Thai food I have ever had. It was absolutely amazing! Generous portions and all homemade from scratch. I highly recommend phais kitchen. The food is so DELICIOUS it’s criminal!

We had the joy of a wonderful Thai cookery session with the lovely Phai who delivered the session in my own home for myself and a friend. Right from the start we knew we were in for a treat! Phai had gone to a huge amount of trouble to put together all of our ingredients so we were immediately able to start tasting and cooking! She was so informative - talking us through the differences in soy sauces, or explaining the best sources for other ingredients. She also provided us with really clear recipe cards. It was so informal - and having a great chef on hand for just the two of us was a real luxury. Afterwards we enjoyed an amazing lunch - and there was even enough for our partners - who have hearty appetites!! The food was absolutely fantastic - wonderful layers of flavours (and Phai makes sure that you keep tasting and ensuring that you are happy with the heat or sweet/savoury balance etc). Phai was delightful throughout and the whole session was conducted with much good humour, a lot of chatting and much laughter! Couldn’t recommend Phai’s cookery sessions highly enough - we learned loads and had a great time. Thanks so much Phai

Phai food takeaway from Harts Barn, Longhope. Absolutely Stunning! Happy Place type food! Flavour upon flavour upon flavour. Light as air wontons. Crispy succulent wings. Rib Penang was a masterclass of rib cookery, I didn't want it to end!! Underwater Chicken, a new dish to me, was surprising. Light, clean, fresh with a beautiful sweetness running thru the sauce. Beautiful, beautiful food! Thankyou Phai!!

After hearing great things and seeing their wonderful Instagram page I decided to order. Their menu changes each month so it's pot luck what will be available, but i was not disappointed. I've never had a chilled, heat-at-home takeaway before, but tbh having a takeaway that can be refrigerated or frozen straightaway or heated to steaming hot, worked really well. I had the Isaan northern Thai sausages for starters and the Phuket pork stew for mains with rice. Sweet, salty, sour and spicy all blended perfectly together. Will defo order again.

Just the best Thai food. Amazing service too, meeting in a lay by formate handover. Everything we had was delicious especially the red curry salmon. Roll on next month

For a foodie like me, lockdown and travel restrictions have taken their culinary toll. But takeaways have risen to the challenge. Often, Thai food can be a bit predictable. Even when it’s great it’s often similar to the last place. Not here though. Home cooked treats and traditional meals that introduce you to a wide range of textures and tastes. And they survive the reheat at home journey fabulously well. If you are lucky to live on their catchment area make sure you give them a go. You won’t be disappointed.

Lockdown has made finding a decent takeaway very hard, but was recommended Phai's Kitchen by a friend and it didn't disappoint. From the rich and zesty duck Panang to the ginger and homegrown Pak choi steamed salmon, it was delicious. I understand Phai only takes orders for a Saturday, but we'll worth the wait with a new menu each week and fuss free ordering via Facebook messenger.

Beautiful food! Following recommendations from friends, I placed my first order from Phai’s kitchen for collection today. So good. Which must be what most other customers think too - nearly missed ordering for next week as I wanted to see the quality of the food first. I needn’t have worried. Everything tasted fantastic. Beautifully prepared. Just great.

I decided on having a lockdown treat and ordered a Thai take out from Phai’s kitchen. Just wow! Seriously, the absolute best take out I’ve ever had. I ordered a starter of the Thai Arancini balls, which have to be tried to believe how good they are, seriously scrummy. Then for main, classic Thai green curry (my favourite) with sticky jasmine rice. Fantastic flavours and spice and lots of it too! Mouthwatering deliciousness on every level and I can’t wait to try some more dishes soon. Phai’s Kitchen are doing a set list of dishes every week for take out, and orders are placed earlier in the week for collection or local delivery. I’d recommend following their Facebook page to see when these are launched and get your orders in quickly, as it sells out fast! And I can see why.

Well during the virus lock down days we were very fortunate to be able to place an order with phai's kitchen. We had the most incredible arancini red Thai balls and satay lettuce cups. Faultless! Then to our curries. Green Thai curry and belly pork stir fry. Again faultless. Just wish we had ordered desert. Will definitely be using phai again for the time being and in the future. Our daughter gifted a course on Thai cooking with Phai to my wife and I and last Friday was the chosen day. As a complete novice when it comes to food preparation (I blame the culinary expertise of my mother, my wife and my daughter!) I was rather nervous about the whole event. However, Phai put us at ease immediately with her warm welcome, sharp sense of humour and her obvious desire to make the evening as much fun as possible. We enjoyed drinks and snacks whilst Phai filled us in with some of the background of the dishes that we had chosen to prepare. She had everything laid out and had clearly gone to a great deal of trouble sourcing all of the ingredients. We were also struck by her generosity in supplying so much of everything. She stood with us every step of the way as we mixed Green Curry and Red Curry pastes (the pestle and mortar work certainly increased our longing for the finished dishes). We were encouraged to taste our creations regularly and told how to make them more spicy or how to take some heat away. The kitchen was filled with amazing smells and these were magnified when we started cooking the stir fries that we had prepared with Phai's help. Finally if was time to eat. The table had been set out beautifully and, even though we say it ourselves, our creations were really tasty. There was a large amount of food for us to take home with us and we have been enjoying this over the weekend. In short, we have no hesitation in recommending Phai to anyone who would like to have a hands on exploration of Thai cuisine. It was a wonderful evening. Thank you, Phai!
