The best restaurants serving Tapas food in North West

Authentic, freshly cooked, well presented food served by enthusiasts staff. I think it's one of only a few good restaurants in the area

I visited The Cedar Tree with my family for a special birthday and was blown away by what an incredible gem this place is! There’s a lovely cosy feel to the whole place. The food was lovely and while we all had different starters and mains, I lucked out by ordering the Salt and pepper calamari which was just awesome. The hangin danglin skewers were also amazing. Whilst the restaurant was quite busy (first Sunday of spring) I couldn’t fault the staff. Our server was so friendly and efficient and yet unobtrusive. Just the right balance. For the price paid, this has to be one of the best value for money meals we have had in a long time. Overall, delighted to have discovered this gem of a place and we will be returning again for sure.

Had really great lunch sat outside in the sun. Staff are lovely, will be back :) Plenty of outdoor space now too :)

Me and my partner loved every bit of this. I am from Rochdale but haven’t eaten here for a number of years. Since changing ownership I can only say the food quality has increased dramatically! Previously food was cooked from frozen and you could tell. Every single dish we had was piping hot & full of flavour. I would happily return and will be recommending to friends! Thanks for a lovely meal!

Me and my daughter called in for some lunch yesterday Fri 25th April. What can I say. Fabulous service and food was delicious and generous portions. I had black pudding bon bons to start and cheese and onion pie which came with chunky chips and a side pot of beans. My daughter had halloumi fries to start and a burger as her main. We were both very full after this . So didnt get chance to try the desserts . Food was hot and freshly made. Service was brilliant excellent staff . Will definitely be calling in again and would highly recommend.

Lovely refurb let down by a menu lacking in choice at lunchtime. Caesar salad was very poor and lacking in flavour. Not sure who the target audience is.

Part of the Midlands hotel. Quiet bar because weather bad. Quick efficient service by happy staff. Very reasonable priced. Great views and also has external seating

Poor quality tapas , everything breaded and certainly not enough food to go round. Very disappointed and still very hungry would not recommend as definitely not worth £20 per person . Staff were lovely and no problem with venue just lack of food.
