The best restaurants serving Spanish food in North West

Not having been to Pedro's before I've now been twice in a fortnight. The first time with my girls when we fancied something different, loved my mocktail, which was presented in an inflatable whale! The food was fab as were the staff, we were running late for the cinema and they boxed up our desserts which we ate whilst watching! The second trip was with a friend visiting for the New Year. When booking the table I asked for one where we could have a good gossip without disturbing others... we were given the perfect table and proceeded to graze on loads of fantastic food and had the perfect catch up. Thank you so much for the amazing welcome and service from all the staff. Have a very Happy New Year and hopefully see you all soon.

Great place and it's a lot bigger than you think from the outside. Good choice of drinks and not at ridiculously high prices, great friendly atmosphere too. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

We love Corto! If you like your wine or beer then this is the place for you (they also have a selection of rum/gin too if it’s not your thing). They always have an excellent selection with frequently changing specials, there’s always something new to try. Katie and Tom are extremely knowledgeable and always happy to give a recommendation, plus they have a great selection of snacks, including Tom’s famous cheese toasty. The vibe is casual, cosy, and most of all friendly (including dogs)! Be sure not to miss this place when visiting!

This place is just a short walk from orrell park train station this hidden little gem is just what you need to chill out after a long day in work the jukebox was free so long as you liked soul music from the 70s or 80s. the food was amazing with the barman ready to serve you with multiple drinks beer rum etc. the wifi code needs to be put on the wall so people can have access to free wifi as for the beer garden that too was lovely the only downside was the wind I recommend a small cardigan/ jacket to keep warm overall the place was clean an tidy with loads of memorabilia and little quirks to look at while your enjoying yourself.

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos explorando esta parte de la ciudad cuando decidimos dejarnos caer en Caravana Española, hemos estado aquí antes, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita. Me encanta el aspecto de este restaurante, el interior es soberbio, luminoso y aireado, decoración y mobiliario ecléctico, un bar de servicio de aspecto fresco y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este restaurante tanto dentro como fuera en su cervecería, es aquí donde elegimos sentarnos ya que tuvimos un par de horas de sol en lo que hasta ahora ha sido un verano terrible, algunos podrían decir un verano británico normal. Pedimos cervezas a la Cervecería Higos De Rivera ( Estrella Galicia ) y estas cervezas se servían en excelentes condiciones quedando heladas frías y espumosas y simplemente nos relajamos, relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este concurrido y popular restaurante y admirando el mural muy chulo de Jurgan Klopp a un costado del edificio que alberga Caravana Española. Mi cerveza era realmente buena, una gran fan de esta cerveza española más famosa, es una cerveza estilo lager dorada, ligera y con lúpulo llena de sabor y muy fácil de beber sobre todo cuando se sirve helada fría como en Caravana Española. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestras cervezas aquí y el gran ambiente tanto que terminamos quedándonos a tomar otra cerveza cada uno antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a Caravana Española nos lo pasamos muy bien. Spanish Caravan es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Slater Street, una calle famosa por sus pubs y bares. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a domingo, abierto desde mediodía. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

¡Oh mi palabra! ¡Qué hermoso hallazgo! Hemos querido venir aquí durante mucho tiempo y finalmente vinimos para el cumpleaños de mi marido para el almuerzo. Vale la pena esperar. El lugar es pequeño, auténtico y tiene un ambiente increíble. La comida era excepcional, la camarera nos aconsejó no pedir tanto como estaba previsto y que podríamos pedir más tarde... ella era totalmente correcta y apreciamos su orientación. ¡Sigo pensando en la comida semanas después! No podemos esperar a volver. Este lugar se reserva rápidamente, así que sugiero reservar si hay una fecha en particular que necesita. Lugar increíble y no puedo esperar para volver ❤️

Love this little bar - friendly, fun, great beer and proper home made cocktails

El mejor restaurante de Wigan. La comida es hermosa, siempre sin falta. Los servidores son encantadores, muy sonrientes y hospitalarios. Fue encantador ver que el restaurante estaba lleno un viernes por la noche en enero. Solo tener cosas buenas que decir sobre este lugar y recomendar felizmente a la familia y amigos. El lugar es bastante pequeño, que es genial porque tanto amor, cuidado y atención va en los platos. Los postres de Sophia también son increíbles, algunos de los mejores que he probado!

I visited Tapas Tapas with a party of Year 10 and 11 GCSE Spanish pupils (the restaurant opened at lunchtime to accommodate us), and was hugely impressed with the experience - and more importantly, so were they! The food was absolutely excellent - as a regular visitor to Spain, I eat a lot of tapas and these were among the best that I have ever tasted. I would therefore highly recommend a visit to this restaurant - the decor, ambiance, staff and the food are all top class!

The Holcombe Tap is very Welcoming as always and excellent small plates, plenty of choice. A regular haunt for good reason.
