Super little restaurant, food excellent, service great, friendly and accommodating.

A very good meal and excellent service.

The night we went was a Thursday very busy and very noisy .Food good but wait for the bill took too long.Very small and cramped inside.

Booked for a party of 12 for Daughter’s 40th. We asked for an early booking. They usually open at 5 pm but as they had another party in at 7 they said they were happy to accommodate us at 4:30 pm, which we happily accepted. They allowed me to go in earlier to dress the table, put a banner up and take in a birthday cake. They dimmed the lights and lit the candles and brought the cake in singing “Happy Birthday…….”, then everyone joined in. It was great and our Daughter loved it. The food and service were fabulous as usual, and we had a lovely evening.

Great food as always, 3 for 2 was a bonus. We shared a variety of tapas dishes with garlic, cheesy bread with half chilli tomatoe.

First time going to the orange Tree, we loved it the food was amazing and the staff worked really hard. We will be back. 10/10 for food and service.

Love tapas and this is one of the best . Staff are great particularly the manager , couldn’t make you feel more welcome. It’s small so always book.

Been to this place a few times and will keep going back. Amazing food and service. Reasonably priced too. Would recommend the chorizo, lemon chicken and the stew although I have tried most dishes and never been disappointed.

Lovely meal Would be 5 stars but need more veggie options and more space. Also table wasn't quite ready at time of booking. The food we had was yummy though and staff were friendly

My daughter and I chose the Orange Tree for our Christmas Eve meal and although enquiring about a table for two very late, we were delighted to be accommodated with a message of confirmation through FaceBook Messenger. We received a warm welcome when we arrived, although we had to wait ten minutes for our table as the previous diners had not finished. We were fine with this and I thoroughly understand how this can happen in a restaurant without a bar area. The main thing was that we were kept informed of what was happening and two complimentary drinks were provided, which was a nice touch. The service was good and the food was delicious, we had three tapas dishes each and a jug of sangria. For dessert the sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Everything was well prepared, well presented and really hot and tasty. The waitresses were friendly and courteous and all in all it was a lovely experience. Thank you so much.

Everything here is excellent, from when you walk in the the moment you leave, food is superb and really good value, the place is small but I think you get a better service as the staff are more attentive to you. Sangria’s lovely and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

We visited Orange Tree on Saturday and the food and service was amazing. The selection of dishes is great and the tomato garlic bread and lamb stew were particularly delicious. We also had the Sangria which was refreshing and authentic tasting. All in all, a great experience and at a really good price. Will definitely be returning!

I was taken here as a surprise birthday meal and I loved it , 1st time here yet I've driven past it so many times. The food was fantastic and it's very friendly ,we ordered 12 tapas and everyone of them was beautiful, I can't wait to go again 😁 its only small.and that adds to its ambiance. Great for couples or groups of family or friends as there is something for everyone here. The lady even gave me a small prosecco to take home as it was my birthday next day . Highly recommend this restaurant 👌

Fantastic cosy little restaurant with attentive service. Food was served quickly and piping hot. Great menu with a nice varied mix of seafood, meat and veg Tapas. Nice cosy layout ideal for a romantic evening where sharing some Tapas really comes into it's own. Recommend you book simply because of limited tables but well worth giving a go if you fancy some Spanish/Portuguese cuisine.

Lovely staff and great service. Some dishes were really good (breads, olives and dips, sardines) and others were OK (sticky rice wasn't that sticky or flavoursome). Friend liked the sangria a lot! Tuesday special offer is a bargain!

Great tapas, been a couple of times now and will keep on going. Staff are chatty, friendly and attentive. Food is very nice. I highly recommend the blue cheese mushrooms.

This place is such a hidden little gem, great atmosphere & incredible food! Quickly became my favourite restaurant in Manchester after visiting many times over the past few years. Service is always attentive and friendly, the Portuguese lamb stew is something special as well as the homemade cheesecakes!

Honestly can't understand the rave about this place. Thought we'd give it a go. Service wasnt great felt pressured to order quickly, and they kept pulling faces between each other. Food is way over priced. Our food come out hot however tasted reheated and 3 out of the 5 meat dishes we ordered was well over cooked. Dry. Expecially the meatballs. Its a cash only establishment which I find a little odd. It could also do with some TLC and a refresh. The toilets are very grotty.

The food was amazing and there was lots if variety. The service was great all the staff was helpful and acomedating. I will definitely be going again. The toilets were lovely and clean and the restaurant was immaculate and tables got cleaned quickly.

Reviewed October 2021 My foodie partner decided that I needed to refresh my Tapas style taste-buds as it has been a while since 2018 and my Korean encounter.. and the fact that that The Orange tree had been getting a lot of very good reviews and recommendations. Yes, the place IS small, a 'little' cramped and I would surmise quite noisy when full, maybe seating for 35-45. It was very quiet when we went there at 6pm on a Wednesday but soon was a 1/4 full by 7.30ish - so you could still hold a quiet conversation. Your choice of times to suit your needs and activity. Drinks: Rose house wine and Estrella Damm As it was Tapas style it was 'shares' which is always a good thing when wanting to sample many of the dishes without 'overdoing' it: Basket of warm bread & butter Patatas Brava - Potato's with spicy tomato sauce Fabada Asturiana - Mixed beans in tomato & chilli sauce Pollo En Pimiento - Chicken breast strips, Paprika cream and wine sauce. Chorizo Al Vinto Tinto - Chorizo sausage in red wine Gambas Pil Pil - King Prawns in garlic and lemon Lubina EnEn Salsa Picante - Sea Bass (grilled) in a tomato sauce, light salad. and to finish it all off: The Orange Tree Messy. I have lived in Denton for over a decade and for some reason I have not been to this restaurant until now, I of course will be back because out of all the restaurants in Denton for me this is head and shoulders above the rest. I can cook so when I ordered the sea bass I was a bit worried it would not live up to expectations, It was perfection it’s a small restaurant but that adds to a family feel, the staff where so nice and welcoming so natural and experienced very professional I would say all in all the best tapas in Manchester in my opinion. Very charming venue and atmosphere, the staff were polite and the food was fresh and tasteful… However, very underwhelmed by the shrimp dish. being one of the most expensive dishes on the menu close to £7 I was hoping for more the 3 sorry looking pieces of shrimp, which I can only presume was more likely to be the leftovers from a previous shrimp dish sent back as I was close to doing so myself, either that or they ran out either way if I’m spending close to £40 on 5 tapas dishes plus some fries I’d expect to be full enough that I’m not now writing this review sat in another restaurant looking for a quick fix. All jokes aside the venue is lovely and quaint and would go again if I was assured I’d be getting a bigger fill.

Dined in here on Thursday. Its only really small so best to book before you go, but well worth it! Really pleasant and helpful service with a great selection of Tapas.
