We love Corto! If you like your wine or beer then this is the place for you (they also have a selection of rum/gin too if it’s not your thing). They always have an excellent selection with frequently changing specials, there’s always something new to try. Katie and Tom are extremely knowledgeable and always happy to give a recommendation, plus they have a great selection of snacks, including Tom’s famous cheese toasty. The vibe is casual, cosy, and most of all friendly (including dogs)! Be sure not to miss this place when visiting!

There's a lot of good beer to be had in Clitheroe but Corto is the star attraction. There's always an interesting and diverse selection of beers and wine and you are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome from the knowledgeable and passionate staff. Great snacks to be had, large range of chilled takeout beers and it's dog friendly too.

Corto is Clitheroe’s hidden gem - a must if you’re visiting. A great selection of drinks curated by the wonderful Katie & Tom in a cosy and welcoming space. Having tried most of the menu I can confirm everything is super tasty, however special shout-out to their grilled cheese sandwich with a side of the most amazing home made hot sauce you’ll ever try. The bar has a great playlist and interesting artwork in their rotating gallery. All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable of the products and are more than happy to advise someone trying orange wine for the first time!

Restaurant with a View on Pendle Hill. Spanish and Mexican food We had the Mexican Chilli and glad due to the very large portion size that we didn't have a starter before hand. Food was exactly as described in the menu and well worth the £16.95 per main dish cost for the amount of food you received. Staff were friendly and helpful, providing top ups with table water when the bottle was empty. Sat at a table with a window view onto the surround valley and rolling hills, unfortunately it was raining so spoiled the view further away. Would recommend to anyone travelling in the area.
