The best restaurants serving Spanish food in North East

Great coffee and great service, the perfect location to grab and drink and walk along the river tees and visit the tees barrage. Service was good and the price very reasonable.

My favourite neighbourhood spot. Suzanne and Carsten are the best hosts and the food is always a hit.

Really delicious taps. We had the steak, calamari, baked feta. Chorizo and patatas brava. All lovely and fresh. Finished off with the best white chocolate cheesecake. 🤗

Really chilly in the restaurant, they need some heating on, not great.

Monday night visit. Very few other places offering food in Whitley Bay on a Monday. Fab meat platter and delicious wine.

My Husband had originally booked a table for 4 when my son and his partner decided they were coming as well, with it been restaurant week I didn’t think it would be possible but a lovely lady asked if we could come in 15 minutes later than previously booked which wasn’t a problem, we were shown to our table a lovely lady asked came and took drinks order then we ordered food starters were all delicious from pate, garlic mushrooms, king prawns and fried black pudding and mash is to die for absolutely amazing, just enough time before our mains were served parmos, braised beef, Cajun chicken and lamb kofta the meals were all presented beautifully seasoned just right 5 out of 6 empty plates went back to the kitchen (daughters eyes bigger than her belly left half her chicken) we were asked about desserts but we were all full when the waitress suggested to us to take them home as we were paying for them £20 pp 3 course meal, so she individually packed them all up! 6 starters, 6 main courses, 1 side 4 cocktails, 4pints of lager & 1 fresh orange £180 absolutely worth every penny would definitely recommend

Lush food, great choice of drinks, great atmosphere, fab music and all with amazing service! Well worth popping in and we will be back!

Fuimos a comer a este lugar con un compañero que reside en Newcastle, ya nos aviso de que no era un magnifico restaurante, ni un lugar muy acogedor ya que esta en un local de un centro comercial que esta desierto Lo regentan un matrimonio que son colombianos, por ello el servicio fue excelente pero lo que mas nos sorprendio ya que nuestro compañero no nos lo dijo fue que ellos habian estado en España y su Tiendita era casi el 50% de productos españoles. Podeis imaginar este dia en que consistio nuesta comida, chorizos riojanos, fabada, pa amb tomaquet i pernil, tortillas, etc etc.todo ello regado con un buen vino del Penedes, en resumen una gran comilona y por ello nos sentimos como en casa Relacion precio - calidad muy razonable. Aparte de este pequeño restaurante tienen la pequeña Tiendita donde puedes comprar los productos españoles. LA LASTIMA fue lo que nos comunico puesto que era muy amigo de nuestro compañero y nos dijo que en Enero o Febrero tenia que dejar el local porque una inmobiliaria habia comprado todo el edificio y tenia que cerrar el negocio al menos durante 2 años, una verdadera lastima ya que este pequeño rincon en plena ciudad era como un remanso de paz. Sin lugar a dudas era un lugar para recomendar por el buen trato y amabilidad y poder recordar un trocito de nuestro pais.

This used to be my favourite place to eat .I can safely say I won't be returning sat ages before being offered drinks never asked if we wanted more drinks or how the food was my main arrived and was incorrect had to hint a member of staff granted shredded apologised and was quickly rectified portions have shrank dramatically and food just didn't taste the same not value for money at all along with the fact we were sat in a tight space with everyone squeezing past to visit the toilet s

Beautiful authentic restaurant. Staff friendly and efficient. Food and coffee absolutely fabulous. I have been here a few times now and the excellent quality of the food and service is consistent.

We enjoyed the food we had no problems with that, it was the lack of atmosphere the place is large inside so it really could do with something to make it look more inviting, just my opinion sorry.

Date night at this bar was Fantastic.Cocktails were amazing and food was delicious with huge portions ,staff were great very friendly eill definitely be back .
