San Seb Coffee in Stockton-on-Tees

Great coffee and great service, the perfect location to grab and drink and walk along the river tees and visit the tees barrage. Service was good and the price very reasonable.

Very friendly chap, always enthusiastic and pleasant. The coffee is extremely tasty (no bitterness), creamy and perfect EVERY time. Situated in a lovely spot with beautiful and very peaceful

I was visiting the area for a couple of days and out for a walk and I came across San Seb Coffee which, was a very nice surprise as I was needing a cuppa. I had an Americano with milk but resisted the fabulous selection of flapjacks. The coffee was great tasting and hot and warmed me up nicely as did, the interesting chat. I highly recommend here for a pit stop!

Visited today whilst walking with my husband at Tees Barrage Have read good reviews and it did not disappoint The coffee was amazing We had a cappacino and a latte and both are very very good The flapjacks we had were also really really good The service was fab so friendly and efficient We will definately be back more lots in Summer months Thank You

Visited on Saturday 9th October 21 as a couple whilst walking our dog at Tees barrage. Gorgeous Teesside scenery, great company and a truly special coffee with flapjack! Generous friendly young gentleman who served us our sunny brew with a smile under a bright autumn sky. Thank you!

Claude is always welcome with a great coffee (other drinks available) blondies, flapjacks, pork pies, porridge, scotch eggs……all from the local area. Claude is popular with dog walkers, cyclists and people enjoying the waterways, and Mike’s a nice guy too 🤣🤣

Wow, what a fabulous hot chocolate, mint flavour, fantastic location on the side of river Tees near the Tees Barrage. Well worth a visit.

What more could you want while out for a walk in pleasant surroundings other than a warm welcome & a fantastic coffee? His knowledge about coffee is obvious when chatting as he talks about his choice of blend for various liquid delights. All this for our enjoyment to the point where I'm following his recommendation to use the local coffee roasters for my home supplies. Grrrrrreat Coffee!!!!

Excellent addition to the Tees Barrage! Great coffee (try weekly guest aeropress), lovely sweet and savory snacks (blondies and scotch eggs are 5*) and the service is brilliant. Lcated on the side of the river.

I've visited the Barrage regularly for years and have always said how I only wished there was a nice little cafe there, and lo and behold - San Seb appeared and I couldn't wish for more! Love the variety of drinks, hot and cold, and the sweet and savory nibbles. Also love that it's all changed up regularly, basically weekly! Best of all is the service with a smile and friendly chat, and Claude the van isn't too hard on the eyes either! Great to see it so popular and I really hope it stays!

I regularly walk/run by the barrage and somewhere for a coffee and a treat was the only thing missing! Along came Mike and Claude the van! Mike is always really friendly and welcoming, the range of drinks and food is fantastic. I can’t resist checking in on my mate Claude whilst on a walk! He even provided me with a hangover cure on Sunday morning!!! I tried the Turkish coffee this week which came with a pastry and a bottle of water - wow! Possibly/probably the best coffee experience I have ever had. Also despite being quite a fit bloke, I’m a sucker for a good piece of cake and both the biscoff and cherry and almond flapjacks are amongst the best things I’ve ever had in my mouth. Problem is I just want to try ALL of the cakes now. San Seb Coffee has been a superb addition to the barrage. There is also plenty of seating around so you can take a pit stop on your walk/run too, it’s near to the dipping pond, the river itself and Claude the van just blends into the landscape perfectly. Thanks to Mike for the excellent service, I look forward to many more visits and lots more cake 😅

Just stopped off at the Tees’s barrage and had lunch at the Sam Seb coffee van. A perfect flat white to accompany an artisan Chorizo scotch egg with salad leaves, pomodoro tomatoes, balsamic onions and with a sweet onion relish . A Yorkshire Cherry and Almond flap jack to finish off. Absolutely loved the surroundings and the food. A little gem. I will be back.

Superb quality coffee and food. Great setting too at the end of a walk around the Barrage. highly recommended!
