The best restaurants serving Spanish food in England

We were driving through East Grinstead and needed a dog friendly place to eat. CJ's came up and we decided to give it a ago. The staff, especially the woman behind the bar was so kind and accommodating. We had two dog and a push chair with a 10 month old. She suggested the perfect table with lots of space and they gave us a booster seat which attaches to the stool, as well as loads of dog treats for our pooches. We ordered the Club Sandwich and BLT's and were all really happy with our food and drinks. Would definitely go again.

Asistí a un almuerzo de 40 años para mi sobrina. Había reservado la habitación de atrás, que era un lugar ideal. La comida era deliciosa y el personal era excelente y muy servicial. Trabajaban en torno a una gran reunión familiar donde la gente se desplazaba. Atendieron peticiones y atendieron a vegetarianos y veganos. Establecieron el cargo por cabeza para que supiéramos lo que estábamos pagando. Fue una buena relación calidad-precio. Me pareció un gran lugar con muy buena comida y personal maravilloso. 5 *

¡Vine aquí para comer mientras esperaba que mi auto se tiñe por la carretera en Polimax y me senté que la comida me dejó impresionado! ¡Fue absolutamente increíble! Tuve el pollo asado al fuego pero cambié el puré de papas por papas fritas y estaba absolutamente delicioso! El pollo también estaba deshuesado, lo cual fue una ventaja. Lo capearé con uno de sus batidos especiales. ¡También es un lugar lindo y vale la pena visitarlo!

Siempre disfrutamos de la comida aquí. Es simple comida de café. Tiene un precio muy razonable y muchas opciones vegetarianas. Las porciones son geniales. El gerente es encantador. El personal es genial. Es agradable sentarse en un día soleado en una buena parte de la ciudad.

We enjoyed very good times at Platos and have been disappointed that there has now been a lack of any activity or responses for a long long time but today we were delighted to discover that the unique (for Plymouth) premises have been taken over by the Knead Pizzas business who have managed to survived and emerged through the Covid years first in The Market and then at the Lord High Admiral but have now blossomed into the perfect space here at the top of Finewell St. We shall be down here again and again.

Visited here with friends. This was our third visit. Food was fine, we weren’t offered dessert, the chef had his coat on and was out the door before we had finished our mains . The waitress started mopping the floor then turned the music off. Obviously time to leave. It was only 20.30 advertised closing time was 21.30 as we were leaving through the door they were pulling the shutters down. We felt unwelcome and probably now won’t go back

Lovely little quaint spot to escape the chaos for a cocktail and a stone baked pizza. The former chef from downstairs, now running the place has his own ideas to improve the space, which we are excited to see when we return. Would highly recommend the salted caramel martinis! Reasonably priced, with amazing views across the harbour.

Probamos las tapas cuando abrió y quedamos muy decepcionados con la comida. Algunos simplemente no saben muy bien y el resto, aunque comestible, era sólo eso, comestible.

¡Personal ridículamente grosero! Una mujer me abrió una puerta violentamente y en realidad me lastimó mucho, ya que ya estaba luchando con dolor crónico, los accidentes ocurren y está bien, pero luego me frunció el ceño y fue grosera conmigo en el bar. También había un tipo del bar empujando a todos y siendo innecesariamente grosero. Ambiente horrible en todo el lugar. Nunca volvería.

It was my second time there and I can say it was a mistake to go there. These are the worst tapas I’ve ever had. Most of the food looks and rates as if it’s straight from a can. Do not go there!

I’ve just the most amazing meal at this fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious - actually the best tapas I’ve ever had. Thank you ! And the best part was the service - The manager Isabelle was just so lovely, warm and friendly. And Vicky was just the sweetest! and bubbly, with such a big heart ! Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel, pub typiquement anglais. Chambre confortable et décorée avec goût. Personnel très accueillant et bienveillant. Petit déjeuner et dîner excellents. Bus et métro à proximité immédiate permettant de rejoindre le centre pour la visite de Londres. Nous recommandons vivement et ne manquerons pas de revenir à l'occasion.

No vengas aquí cuando hace frío afuera. La puerta no se cierra correctamente y la calefacción no es efectiva en absoluto en esta habitación de techo alto. Nosotros y otros huéspedes nos sentamos allí con nuestros costos. Las tapas pequeñas estaban buenas pero pedimos unas tapas más grandes de vientre de cerdo con calabaza. Fue horrible... dos rodajas de grasa sin apenas carne. No podíamos comerlo. La calabaza que la acompañaba estaba seca y simplemente no iba con el plato a pesar de una pequeña olla de salsa. También eran unas 24 libras por una porción. Muy mala relación calidad-precio. El servicio era muy bueno, pero no volveré aquí

I'm not one to write a review especially a negative one but if this review stops someone wasting their time and money like I did then it's worth it. Literally the worst dining experience I've ever had. First things first the kitchen needs a door adding to stop the sounds of the chefs/kitchen staff swearing and chilling on their phones texting. Not one member of staff in a uniform??? Not sure if this is a super chilled vibe but looks scruffy in my opinion. Asked for a mojito as all the reviews raved about the cocktails... the girl standing in for the night didn't know how to make one and forgot the alcohol and sugar in it. As we was ordering another two tables was complaining about the food and their experiences. Our thoughts was maybe fussy customers.. we was wrong. Food was poor and over priced. Staff walked around complaining how bad it was to work their. Saying they was going to be leaving after the weekend. Too top it off as we was starting to eat our meal at 8:45pm we was the only ones in the restaurant, all the staff was sat on the tables next to us with their coats on and on their phones waiting for us too finish to lock up. One staff member was more or less sweeping under our feet whilst we was eating, was very unwelcoming and off putting we left half our meal and went. Honestly do not waste your money, not sure if it's been taken over by new management but there is no love or care in this business whats so ever. The atmosphere and lack of professionalism was shocking!
