Amazing service waiters were so polite, particularly from Jessica! Food came very quick, table was wiped and plates were changed between starters main and desserts. Food was well presented (tapas plates) each with unique decorations, perfect homely setting for friends or family to come together. Will be revisiting😁

Wow! Really great Tapas Restaurant! Fantastic menu nearly too full of wonderful choices even for vegetarians / vegans! Such a nice interior, a very pleasant place to catch up with friends!

I’ve been here half a dozen times and have always come away impressed but today I felt disappointed. The staff have always been beyond lovely but the lady who served us today wasn’t a good advertisement for the restaurant. She was bordering on rude with her service, left us waiting over 20 minutes to take our drinks order, I actually had to ask as she was busy doing nothing. There were 4 other people in the restaurant so not exactly rushed off her feet . My daughters steak came out long after the rest of the tables food and when my daughter asked how long it would be she was rude with no word of an apology. The young man who also served us was very nice and polite but sorting the table whilst still sat at it didn’t seem necessary. Also the service charge should be optional, I never mind paying this and usually leave an additional tip but I don’t think her service warranted anything extra. As I said I’ve been here many times and this is the first time I have felt the need to leave a negative review.

I wish I took the servers name - she was divine. I was not doing anything Saturday night. Daughter 2 was out. Knowing I had a small window of opportunity with daughter 1 who is of short fuse and patience, I said did she want to grab a bite. She did. 'But where’. I had to think fast. I suggested la luna as I had a squid ink risotto craving. She had never been - I have many times to both restaurants. So we called at 7:45 - got a table for 8:15. Got a ridiculously lucky space right outside on the little bay which is the most epic parking space if you’re lucky. Went in and was offered inside or outside. We sat outside and it was like being on holiday. Daughter 1 is also very impatient. So I took a punt and ordered a selection of stuff and it all came really quickly. She has not stopped banging on about the place since. Saying it’s her favourite restraurant ever. Adored the food - loved the courgette flower. Had the most black lips from the risotto. She loved it all - service so quick and our server was so friendly. We gave feedback when we were paying and know she then fed that back to the manager by the bar as could see them talking and smiling as we left. Anyway - she went back tonight and took her best friend. I know she will be back.. possibly because a free portion of olives was sent over to her table. Thank you for that. Such a lovely touch. And to a 17 year old it’s so exciting to get complimentary stuff. People often don’t bother to give good feedback or only have something negative to say. Lovely place. Great staff - all young but not bored or disinterested. Genuinely well presented. Professional, friendly and smart. And price point is great. Keep busy - x

I think it was that I’m not that keen on tapas as it was my first time eating this. Small enough dishes and all worked out quite pricey but it is in Whetstone. Nice enough setting but I found it all quite bland really which is a shame.

Absolutley fantastic! I visited with 2 friends last Friday. Excellent service , and every course was delicious- we struggled to pick our favourite, but the figs stuffed with goats cheese, and the scallops with crispy pancetta were certainly up at the top our list. But we loved everything else- crab and avocado, gambas, artichokes, meatballs, patatas bravas. All was excellent. Will be back.

I dine regularly in this restaurant with friends and been never disappointed. The food is fresh, excellently cooked and prepared and the service is impeccable. Changed recently menu slightly and I just enjoy it.

Service was really good - all waitresses were great. Helpful with the menu. Food came quickly and in a nice flow. Lovely presentation. When we ordered more it came quickly. Nice choice on the menu. Nothing negative to say - nice night out with friends. Will go back.

There were 8 of us from our spanish conversastion Group University of the third Age in Barnet. They called it the Tapas restaurant - but it was not the Spanish Tapas size but a full plate size. There were so many dishes to choose from and all were extremely good with a very friendly staff.

Be careful when you visit this establishment , good times can turn sour very quickly depending on the owners sons temper - he has a curious temper . The owners son hates women and inflicted intimidation and aggression upon me . He shouted screamed and said for us to get out because we said a steak was over cooked and we didn’t spend enough money to be worth customers . It was really scary and his other employees clustered around him ad-libbing his touts . It may be nice sometimes but be careful

We had our daughters 21st birthday at this fantastic restaurant last night. Food was amazing, all the staff were incredible and so attentive and Melisa was so accommodating and ensured the evening went so well with a minimum of fuss. Thoroughly recommend La Luna for any party or special occasion.

We visited La Lluna on a Saturday night with friends. We were really impressed with the amazing flavours. The food was fresh and the presentation was great. Would highly recommend the tuna steak. Excellent cocktails - (particularly the porn star martini which wasn’t on the menu but they made them for us) Staff were really attentive and friendly - looking forward to returning.

Finally a restaurant that serves great vegetarian food- varied choice and new exciting dishes. Service was first class. I wholly recommend this place Thank you

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, neither would I return. It’s very expensive for very small portions and a lot of the food is deep fried. One of my dishes was so greasy, really not enjoyable. Left there hungry and feeling like I’d been ripped off.

We thought the food was at best average, the house red wine was awful and we were thoroughly disappointed. In addition, it was seriously over priced for very basic food.

Have visited several times as hopeful will improve to provide an authentic Spanish tapas experience. Food is very variable - often dishes too messed about with rich unnecessary sauces. Simple dishes like pan con tomate are ok but at times bread is soggy. Prices similar to better west end tapas places ( meson don felipe is better and cheaper- or salt yard similar prices but much better). Cocktails are good but beware no happy hour weekends- we were there around 5 one Saturday- place empty - went for cocktails and a tapas snack- in garden- cocktails lovely but they wouldn’t give us the usual 2-1 offer so we only had 1 each as they are £10 each. Also noise of adjacent car wash. To add further insult the staff chose to sit on a table nearby and smoke- odd given garden empty and very unpleasant.

The service is excellent, with the staff being attentive towards the guests and their dietary requirements.

Wanted to try this place but reviews when it opened were mixed and the world went mad with Covid, lock downs, etc. eventually went with a Spanish friend at the beginning of November. Our waiter was fantastic, explained portion size, recommended his favourite dishes, which we went with, delicious, and told us when to stop ordering and said go with you have got and order more later if we wanted, good call as we were stuffed. Brought my cousin there tonight, didn’t book and got a table (however would advise booking on the run up to Christmas). Again, what amazing service and food. Couldn’t finish my fillet steak main tapas and our waitress was genuinely concerned asking if all was okay, it was delicious but had too much prior. Overall, I found the quality of the food, ambience and value for money excellent. And our waitress now knows two more Irish people other than Maura and Mrs Brown, lol.. she was fantastic as was all our interaction with staff. Can’t recommend enough x
