The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Spanish food

I’ve had some memorable banter with waiters in restaurants over the years, but “…AND DON’T EVER COME BACK, YOU RACISTS!” is unlikely to be superseded. Service was slow last night, and gradually disintegrated into full on dreadful (menus being taken away, no order being taken). Me and my husband finally placed an order, and the waitress returned five minutes later, barking with weird aggression: "no chicken, just beef or vegan." I asked for the menus again, and she walked away with a stage whisper of "JESUS CHRIST!" and rolled her eyes. So we said actually, we'll just pay for our drinks and leave, because… rude. The waitress then LOST IT: “Well, I don’t like YOUR attitude! YOU are the ones who have been rude – you’ve been REALLY CONDESCENDING.” We were taken aback, and asked politely and precisely how we had been condescending. "Hey, I GAVE you a menu!" she offered, then really went off on one. She was clearly having… a moment/meltdown. So we stood up and said that after that spectacular verbal assault, we were going immediately and weren't going to pay for the drinks either. As we headed for the door she shouted “…AND DON’T EVER COME BACK… YOU RACISTS!” So I turned back and said "WOAH!! WHAT!!?? WHAT DID YOU SAY!!?" She wouldn't say it again, and when I asked for the manager, she shouted “YOU WANT ME TO GET MY PHONE OUT AND GIVE YOU MY MANAGER’S NUMBER!? YOU REALLY THINK I’M THAT STUPID!!? GET OUT.” I have never left a restaurant actually SHAKEN. (And certainly never been called, totally randomly, racist, which was ringing in my ears for hours). I've been going to Viva Dalston for years and used to really like it. But now it will always just be The Place With THAT Waitress where THE THING HAPPENED

Andanza shows exactly why tapas-style eating can be such a revelation. We were pleased to be steered by the excellent staff on both food and wine selections, looking to be challenged, and they really delivered with some beautiful wine and some really flavoursome and unusual dishes (smoked sardines were a stand-out). A taste sensation from start to finish, can't wait to return.

Poor to say the least, garlic bread starter is what most good italian restaurants serve free, ordered meatball macaroni , 5 pea sized meatballs hidden in a mound of bland macaroni and one meatball was burnt, sad I'm sorry to say, overrated under achieved

Personal atento y amable. Disfruté de mi visita, pero solo he tenido mejores tapas. Albóndigas encantadoras pero carecían de sabor y salsa acuosa , el pollo no podía saborear sabores descritos en la descripción . Bolas de pescado no como se esperaba. Lo más destacado fue la fabulosa Sangria xx

Probabimente è il bocadillo più buono di Londra, con il prosciutto crudo tagliato spesso e senza formaggio, ovviamente con una birra. Personale simpatico, locale pulito. A South Kensington Viandas è accanto alla stazione della metro, un posto perfetto per una sosta dopo la visita dei Musei.Salumi buonissimi, prodotti alimentari di qualità.

What a fantastic find on the mezzanine of the newly renovated market hall on a damp March afternoon in Scarborough!! A little taste of Spanish cuisine and wine in a fab venue at incredible prices with a very lovely proprietor. Whilst we didn’t have the time to do so, we loved that you can also buy excellent looking wines from the shop and enjoy in situ for only £4 corkage if you want to enjoy something different to the delicious house Rioja. If we lived in Scarborough, it would become a favourite haunt. Hope to be back again soon.

I just passed the cafe and decided to pick up a coffee, a pasteis de nata and a pain au chocolat. All seriously lovely, and as I moved to the area recently, I hope to start visiting regularly!

Stumbled across this place while looking for another restaurant. Was able to get a cone of jamon pieces that were totally delectable at only 4 pounds. They sell several types of iberico and pata Negra in sealed pouches. Yummy

We loved this place to eat. Recently arrived in London in a group of friends, the guy from the local, our countryman, treated us with great kindness and offered us to try his specialty Spanish omelette, it was undoubtedly incredible. A highly recommended place to eat

He estado varias veces en este bar de tapas y siempre lo disfruté por la comida y el ambiente muy informal. Ofrecen una buena selección de tapas. El servicio es muy informal y muy amigable. Tienen una buena (pero no barata) selección de vinos.

Un amigo y yo cogimos viento de Jackdaw y pensamos que nos gustaría ir allí para los sábados por la noche de Jazz de noche. Disfrutamos de los pequeños-platos bien hechos y el igualmente exquisito conjunto musical. Realmente era un gran ambiente y el personal era amable y servicial. Sin duda que volveré. felicitaciones también agradables - branding.

Ottima paella valenciana. Ve la consiglio. Fedele alla ricetta originale? Boh, chi la conosce. Ma che ce ne frega, mica siamo in Italia dove ci si arrabbia per un parmigiano nella pasta col tonno. Obiettivamente un'accostamento discutibile.

Habíamos visitado Domingo es una vez antes hace unos años, y disfrutamos de la Tapa's. Esta vez nos asistieron a grupo de alrededor de 40 personas y el personal y las camareras manejó el servicio extremadamente bien. Los principiantes fue la selección de tapas que era genial y para las principales tuve el Filete Espatada que estaba hecho en un estilo clásico. La Espetada", brocheta disfrutamos de unas cuantas personas en mi mesa y todo el mundo dice que fue uno de los mejores que tenían. Gran comida con amigos!
