Stumbled across this place while looking for another restaurant. Was able to get a cone of jamon pieces that were totally delectable at only 4 pounds. They sell several types of iberico and pata Negra in sealed pouches. Yummy

This place can be summed up as providing great authentic Spanish products, while this naturally comes with a hefty price tag the service doesn’t match the quality of what you can get there.

I have eaten and sampled amazing wine, meats & cheese here. The Spanish hams & salami meats are fantastic and the wines sublime. It is great to sit out but under cover of this amazing market in the city.

No regresaré.

Excellent wines, marvellous meat, great place and perfect service. This is the ideal place to have a quick lunch, the very best Spanish quality in the heart of London.

Excellent quality jamon with nice bread as well. Recommended for a quick meal though there are no seats inside. Conveniently open late for post-theatre snacks.

While walking London we ran into Viandas de Salamanca and purchased a couple of cured meat 'bocadillos' and beverages. We then headed to the park behind the Savoy hotel overlooking the Thames and enjoyed a quick very tasty lunch. For a moment was back in Spain.

This place is a rip off. Charging £230 for a wooden stand in their window that cost me £18.50 on ebay or amazon. The Jamon is also £200. How can you charge more for a stand than the actual meat. Beware these charlatans.

Just the spanish way, surprisngly absent from London street food, the spanish "bocata de jamon" is not a fluffy baguette, is a crispy delicacy with a perfect balance of jamon, olive oil and bread.Supreme! And for the price of a random chickenish sandwith in Pret! I think finally London is starting to appreciate the quality of exceptional spanish street food.

What a unique sandwich! I passed this place by on my recent trip to London after seeing the meat displayed in the window and made a mental note to visit later the week. When I did visit I ordered the basic sandwich made of the ham on display and all I can say is WOW. Totally rich in flavor, totally delicious and unlike anything else out there. I will definitely stop in on my next trip to London. The only reason I do not give this establishment a "5"? No seating. I sat on a seat in the Charring Cross Station.

We stopped here briefly after a walk in the city center. We bought 4 spanis ham sandwiches for us and our friends. We are from Italy and Spain, the friends were German. We all agreed it was the best Spanish Ham (Jamon Serrano) Sandwich we had in a very long time, at a reasonable price. Better than what you might find in Spain!

I was staying in the neighborhood in December and this place became my go to for a quick and inexpensive lunch. Staff was very friendly and the sandwiches, which they make all day, are delicious. I ran in at 10:00 on my way to Heathrow just to have one before I went home.

This store has an attractive window display. Ham sandwiches piled high made me hungry. There were many hams and sausages to choose from. We bought some sliced Bellota ham, sausage made of Bellota ham and pork cracklings. Quite pricey. The Bellota ham and cracklings were fine. We didn't particularly like the sausage. Nevertheless, a good store for buying Spanish hams and chorizos in London. The prepared foods are for take out only.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, unfortunately my hopes were shattered. Let me start by saying I had received fantastic service at the run up to our dinner when I queried the menu or the dress code and that is where the positives end. We arrived for our pre-theatre dinner a little late and apologised. Once we were seated we realised it didn't make a jot of difference as we were the only people in the entire restaurant. I asked if they were expecting more people to which they replied yes it's early. Looking back we should have left at this point as it was a huge red flag. We ordered cocktails as I'd seen some great cocktails on their social media. What we got was utterly disappointing. They were served in some plastic tumblers which made us feel like we were toddlers. Worst of all, they just didn't taste nice. The flavours were all wrong and they didn't go together. Something important seemed missing They were not cheap at 16 pounds a pop either. So we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and when our starter was served tucked in. My husband took one mouthful and looked disgusted. He said "I'll eat anything, you know me but I just don't want to eat this. I tried it and again it was just not balanced at all. All style and no substance. My starter was edible enough so I ate it as I was hungry but it was not what I would call tasty. Mains arrived and we considered asking to pay up and cut our losses but we stuck it out. Hoping for a change with our mains. It didn't come. My husband had the chicken shawarma, which could have come from a kebab shop. I had the trout, which looked and tasted more like salmon and which was not cooked properly in the middle. We'd had enough we asked for the bill. We stated our issues and asked for the 12.5 service charge to be removed as this added insult to injury. There was no attempt to apologise or rectify our evening. We left, glad that we were out of that restaurant. The service was poor, no one asked us at any point how our food was as we would have told them. The food was beyond poor. The drinks were poor. Added to this there was zero atmosphere in the restaurant as we were the only customers. A full house of disappointment. Avoid if you have any tastebuds or taste.
