Confusing at first but a fantastic concept. There are cold tapas readily available to go up and grab which gets cycled regularly. For hot tapas you must order separately. The total bill is counted with the amount of sticks collected. Very efficient system. Good atmosphere for the size but it can get loud with the music and chit chat around you.

Great good, fab friendly service. Good vibe! Highly recommend!

Update: what a difference a year makes. Came by Saturday early evening. Beer quiet when we arrived and food selection was limited. From the start it felt like we were an annoyance to the staff. Just asking for items seemed like an imposition. As time passed it was obvious they just wanted us to pay up and leave. “we don’t mean to rush you but we need your table”. Literally, the definition of rushing us. Nothing mentioned about time limits when we sat down. Cheeky when we’d not been there that long and had spent £130. I hope they sort themselves out. This place was amazing true Spanish Tapas felt like being in Spain. Why was great. Service was brilliant can't lock it will be back again has been too long since I last visited. The food was fresh tasty and it was a great atmosphere in there.

It’s a great go-to place if you want to eat quick tapas (as you can go help yourself immediately), nice cocktails and really friendly service. Positives- food is nice , cocktails are great (the spicy margarita is my favourite) and the servers are so nice and remember you and your likes/dislikes. Negative- it’s expensive for food. £6-8 for a small tapas plate. They don’t always have all the selection available but if you ask the servers will tell you how long. It’s can get super busy so you need to be quick for some dishes! Overall I will keep coming back. Thanks

Felt lucky we were squeezed in on a Saturday night. Very friendly and chatty staff. Food was tasty but expensive and small portions. The white wine was warm which was very disappointing especially when buying a bottle. To top it all off the couple on the next table got their handbag stolen. So watch your stuff in Soho.

Toilets had an extremely strong and off putting odour. Despite having a table booked, after being sat was then told we had to move and were moved to a seat by the front door. Despite complaining it was cold nothing was done. We tried to keep the door closed due to this, was then told not to by a less then polite waitress. The manager despite earlier in the evening saying we were moved due to his mistake gave no apology or compensation and left the waitress to deal with the complaint. The food and drinks were nice but not enjoyable due to the circumstances. Such a shame as used to enjoy this restaurant but won’t be returning.

They really are darlings here. If I could give 10 stars for service I really would. Abz has always ensured we have the absolute best time. The staff are attentive, thoughtful, and take care of you. The drinks are delectable. The downstairs tables with 70s smut are even better. Forever fave.

Great concept. I loved that you can see the food and choose exactly what you want. Food is cooked fresh and is topped up/changed frequently. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great little spot for a drink and bite to eat

What a great find!!! Cute little restaurant, really friendly staff and a novel concept whereby a selection of tapas are prepped on the bar for you to peruse and choose. You keep the wooden sticks from each dish selected and are charged accordingly “by the stick”. Any dishes not displayed, can be cooked to order. It’s such a good idea to be able to see what the dishes look like rather than order from a menu. Guys were happy to help with menu questions. Good range of food and drinks. Will be back

Confusing booking set up when attempting to book room rather than bar. Lovely staff. No air con downstairs made for a very uncomfortable sitting. The cocktails we had weren’t great.

Tapas are good value. I like the self service and price per stick process they had going. Though I wish they had food guard over the plates as the food were left out in the open on a warm summer day. Good vibes in the place.

Amazing tapas and Spanish food. A great start as my first time trying Spanish cuisine. The buffet style is really cool and easy to get good food from as you can see and choose whatever appetises your eyes :)

Only one word needed. AMAZING!! The food is beyond compare, flavours are perfect, its all cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are very good, and some of the dishes are cooked to order so everything is as fresh as it could possibly be. Service is above and beyond what you would normally expect. I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. There is nowhere else like this.

Nothing special - expensive tapas /pintxos Pan con tomate - 4£ No service because you have to go to the bar and choose your pintxos but you have to pay a service charge 💪. I won't be back.

We loved it here. Pix offers delicious tapas and pintxos - northern Spain's version of tapas. It's a small and very buzzy place - you need to book - full of little tables and great music. And the food. You serve yourself mainly from the delicious selection on the bar. Most small plates are £4/5 and half a dozen or so is a meal. There's a small additional menu to order from, but you don't really need to. It means you have your food in seconds - the only challenge is trying to decide - and can easily be out in an hour. Everything is delicious, truly. We ate lots, including a pudding and two glasses of delicious cava for £70. In Soho it's great value.

Discovered by chance and a really good find. Food is very good & reasonably priced, great cocktails (try El Padron), unpretentious but authentic and really good service, topped off with good sounds playing, what’s not to like? If you are in the Carnaby/Soho area give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Certain to return when next in town😊

Found this gem whilst walking around Carnaby on a Monday afternoon in June. What a lucky find. Welcoming vibe, no pressure, good music, great selection of tapas and pinchos, the cocktails are imaginative and creative. Give El Padron a try - you won’t be disappointed. Gin & Basil Smash a good one too.

Had a great time with Nash, as much as a bartender as he was an entertainer! The drinks were incredibly fun and creative.

We loved our evening at Pix, this place has a real Soho vibe. The staff made our evening (boyfriends Birthday) special they were a happy bunch very attentive and a good knowledge of the cocktails the Matador being my favourite 😉. We tried most of the tapas between us ….. so much variety loved them all. It was a perfect evening will definitely be back soon .

A great 'new find' in the heart of Soho - turns out it's been there for 15 years! Great mix between bar and restaurant so ideal for a date when you don't know the other's preferences. Music loud enough to provide privacy in the compact, lively space. Loved the tunes too. Friendly and efficient service feels more like a local bar. Highly recommended.

Ridiculous prices for their wine, as a spanish person I was offended they could charge this much for such mediocre wine.

Seven of us have been coming here every May for the past 8yrs and every time we’ve not been disappointed with the quality of the tapas, and have always catered well with one of our group who is vegan. In addition, the service has always been efficient and served with a smile. Sad they no longer do Infinity Sunday though…!

This place is absolutely incredible. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming and the food and drinks are stellar.

Not great, the quality of the food was not worth the money. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. Also, the pintxos on the bar should be covered. The beer was flat, portions of food were small even for tapas. However, the service was really good and efficient and the staaf was nice.

It was delicious, great selection and set up! Gets a bit pricey if you eat as much as us!

£20 for 175ml glass of Rioja!!! Feel like you should tell people if that’s the price of it when ordering. We bought some olives and two glasses of wine for £54. Absolute insanity. The waiter was not attentive, the quantity of tapas in relation to the price was not there. The sangria was very watered down. We were disappointed.

Quirky place in Soho..fabulous surroundings. Unique way of ordering..with picking your own dish on the counter with a price stick in and bill is calculated through the sticks ! Excellent service, ambience and food. Definately worth a visit

Sorry guys, have to give you four stars. Way too overpriced and 12.5% service fee comes on top. I prefer leaving the tips instead of being surprised by the bill. But food and drinks are nice nevertheless.

I am basque myself and even tho I knew it wasn’t gonna be as good as in the basque we gave it a go…. Never again! The food was an insult to basque cuisine, everything was dry, tasteless and most of the “pintxos” were just random food put together. You can’t lie to people like that. Also I would suggest covering all the “pintxos” because It was so unhygienic.

I can't imagine anyone who has given positive reviews about the food has had proper tapas in Spain before... Food was definitely not for me, but the vibe is cool.

Charming & Cozy tapas bar in Soho. We stumbled onto this place by chance. Archie behind the Bar was welcoming and friendly. Ordered a bottle of Spanish red…delicious! The place has a good vibe going. Music was manageable! Waitress Shauna was charming. We will be back!!!

A pretty awesome tapas place which we bumped into in the middle of a pub crawl. The way you get (most of) your food is by walking up to the counter and picking up anything you want and piling it on to your plate - at the time of the bill, the server will count your sticks to do the maths. This is reminiscent of some tapas bars in Spain and we simply loved the atmosphere here. The service was fantastic too. A vermouth I ordered seemed very watered down and I couldn't get over that feeling throughout my time at Pix. So that's why I'm going with 3 stars, but otherwise I think this is a very good place.

We had a lovely meal. The tapas is mostly a buffet style where you help yourself to items from the counter, with some other dishes made to order. All of the food was fresh and delicious. There’s a lovely wine and cocktail menu too. Would highly recommend

I hate soho. but i absolutely love this place. i will come to my least favorite part of london to hang out in this place. customer service gotta be from either the past or the future it’s that good. Aps, Esmond, and Marco are particularly excellent. come here and have the best time. you won’t regret it.

Esmond, Nikki and marco were amazing hosts. They accommodated to all our needs. Lovely boys would reccomend 10/10. And abs was so lovely. Also Mo was so sick.

What a find! Three of us were eager for a bite to eat whilst in Soho, spotted this tapas place and without too much hesitation we were through that door and sat up at our table. It was a good system being able to either order off the menu or to actually view and pick the same dishes yourself from the bar area. We had a couple of visits and that was enough to fill us up. Then a member of staff calculated what we’d eaten by counting the number of sticks left on the plate. Very good quality food although there was only one delicious-looking sausage roll left which my friend managed to grab before I could get my mits on it.

Great little find, almost next door to my hotel in Soho. Very appetising selection on the counter, augmented by hot dishes from the menu. I don't get the 1/5 scores and criticisms, some people should realise the place would have to be on fire and the food inedible for a score like that. On our visit the place was buzzing and the food was great. We went up to the 'cold' counter a couple of times, which also has a few dishes under lamps to keep warm, but the hot food we ordered off the menu was delicious and authentic. It's all good and for the middle of Soho, not exorbitantly priced at all. Drinks were a good selection and service friendly, for which we paid about £60 a head. Worth a visit.

1st time in this beautiful gem in the heart of soho …. Staff is amazing , they made literally out night … We ordered some hot tapas and it’s like going back to San Sebastián. Definitely going back !

Food on display without cover and right next to the entrance is not a good idea, you could see people walking past with their hair and bags all next to the food. Food was not interesting, or tasteful. Asked for another bottle of wine and told only had 5 minutes left on my booking, 20 minutes later no sign of my bill or being told to leave the table and the waiter comes over to say we could stay but i said no thank you. In that 20 minutes sitting around, we could have had our wine.

Food was average at best. The tables are small and it is self serve for luke warm / dry food that is to be picked from the bar. The to order food was not great either. Would not recommend if you are looking for a proper sit down restaurant. For two of use with one drink each (bad cocktail) and a couple of tapas dishes (i.e., an appetizer each), the total came to £65 after we had asked for the service charge to be removed. I appreciate it’s in soho, but only great food and service can command that price tag. This place is not that. I’ve scored low just so that people are not mislead by the misleading (in my opinion) high ratings.

food is very average, pick and mix from the bar so luke warm. Cocktail was not very nice filled with ice, and the bill was £65 with service charge removed far what was basically 2 appetisers and a drink each. Would not recommend.

Most of the tapas were very gloppy. No where near as good as I remember from 5yrs ago. Expensive. Service was good. Prompt and friendly.

Stumbled across this tapas bar. Large selection of equal meat, seafood & vegan/vegetarian tapas. Kind of help yourself buffet type affair. Not too cheap but food was good. Also enjoyed the lychee and ginger based martini. The experience was ruined with the 12.5% service charge after serving yourself at the bar and one drinks order, which added more than the cost of an extra tapas to the bill.

Food was delicious. Well stocked bar of Pintxos. Interesting and varied. Cost of pintxos was too high. £4 for 6 padron peppers and £8 for 5 calamari rings. Service charge added on top even though it was bar service. Spoke to server who said the tips didn’t go directly to them.
