Sorry guys, have to give you four stars. Way too overpriced and 12.5% service fee comes on top. I prefer leaving the tips instead of being surprised by the bill. But food and drinks are nice nevertheless.

I am basque myself and even tho I knew it wasn’t gonna be as good as in the basque we gave it a go…. Never again! The food was an insult to basque cuisine, everything was dry, tasteless and most of the “pintxos” were just random food put together. You can’t lie to people like that. Also I would suggest covering all the “pintxos” because It was so unhygienic.

I can't imagine anyone who has given positive reviews about the food has had proper tapas in Spain before... Food was definitely not for me, but the vibe is cool.

Charming & Cozy tapas bar in Soho. We stumbled onto this place by chance. Archie behind the Bar was welcoming and friendly. Ordered a bottle of Spanish red…delicious! The place has a good vibe going. Music was manageable! Waitress Shauna was charming. We will be back!!!

A pretty awesome tapas place which we bumped into in the middle of a pub crawl. The way you get (most of) your food is by walking up to the counter and picking up anything you want and piling it on to your plate - at the time of the bill, the server will count your sticks to do the maths. This is reminiscent of some tapas bars in Spain and we simply loved the atmosphere here. The service was fantastic too. A vermouth I ordered seemed very watered down and I couldn't get over that feeling throughout my time at Pix. So that's why I'm going with 3 stars, but otherwise I think this is a very good place.

We had a lovely meal. The tapas is mostly a buffet style where you help yourself to items from the counter, with some other dishes made to order. All of the food was fresh and delicious. There’s a lovely wine and cocktail menu too. Would highly recommend

Esmond, Nikki and marco were amazing hosts. They accommodated to all our needs. Lovely boys would reccomend 10/10. And abs was so lovely. Also Mo was so sick.

I hate soho. but i absolutely love this place. i will come to my least favorite part of london to hang out in this place. customer service gotta be from either the past or the future it’s that good. Aps, Esmond, and Marco are particularly excellent. come here and have the best time. you won’t regret it.

What a find! Three of us were eager for a bite to eat whilst in Soho, spotted this tapas place and without too much hesitation we were through that door and sat up at our table. It was a good system being able to either order off the menu or to actually view and pick the same dishes yourself from the bar area. We had a couple of visits and that was enough to fill us up. Then a member of staff calculated what we’d eaten by counting the number of sticks left on the plate. Very good quality food although there was only one delicious-looking sausage roll left which my friend managed to grab before I could get my mits on it.

Great little find, almost next door to my hotel in Soho. Very appetising selection on the counter, augmented by hot dishes from the menu. I don't get the 1/5 scores and criticisms, some people should realise the place would have to be on fire and the food inedible for a score like that. On our visit the place was buzzing and the food was great. We went up to the 'cold' counter a couple of times, which also has a few dishes under lamps to keep warm, but the hot food we ordered off the menu was delicious and authentic. It's all good and for the middle of Soho, not exorbitantly priced at all. Drinks were a good selection and service friendly, for which we paid about £60 a head. Worth a visit.

I loved the music and atmosphere, Abz carried the entire show. If you're looking for something fun and not too busy, it's the perfect place

1st time in this beautiful gem in the heart of soho …. Staff is amazing , they made literally out night … We ordered some hot tapas and it’s like going back to San Sebastián. Definitely going back !

food is very average, pick and mix from the bar so luke warm. Cocktail was not very nice filled with ice, and the bill was £65 with service charge removed far what was basically 2 appetisers and a drink each. Would not recommend.

What a good time , 3th time here and everytime is better than the previous one . Fantastic food , very attentive and friendly staff . We will back soon .

Food on display without cover and right next to the entrance is not a good idea, you could see people walking past with their hair and bags all next to the food. Food was not interesting, or tasteful. Asked for another bottle of wine and told only had 5 minutes left on my booking, 20 minutes later no sign of my bill or being told to leave the table and the waiter comes over to say we could stay but i said no thank you. In that 20 minutes sitting around, we could have had our wine.

Food was average at best. The tables are small and it is self serve for luke warm / dry food that is to be picked from the bar. The to order food was not great either. Would not recommend if you are looking for a proper sit down restaurant. For two of use with one drink each (bad cocktail) and a couple of tapas dishes (i.e., an appetizer each), the total came to £65 after we had asked for the service charge to be removed. I appreciate it’s in soho, but only great food and service can command that price tag. This place is not that. I’ve scored low just so that people are not mislead by the misleading (in my opinion) high ratings.

Most of the tapas were very gloppy. No where near as good as I remember from 5yrs ago. Expensive. Service was good. Prompt and friendly.

Stumbled across this tapas bar. Large selection of equal meat, seafood & vegan/vegetarian tapas. Kind of help yourself buffet type affair. Not too cheap but food was good. Also enjoyed the lychee and ginger based martini. The experience was ruined with the 12.5% service charge after serving yourself at the bar and one drinks order, which added more than the cost of an extra tapas to the bill.

Disappointed with the food as it had been sat for a while and didn’t match up with the menu as we were told when we got there that it was on rotation.

Food was delicious. Well stocked bar of Pintxos. Interesting and varied. Cost of pintxos was too high. £4 for 6 padron peppers and £8 for 5 calamari rings. Service charge added on top even though it was bar service. Spoke to server who said the tips didn’t go directly to them.

Food was tasty but one member of staff with short black hair and blue shirt smelt of alcohol and was rude, Other member of staff with black curly hair couldn't have been nicer.

Not worth it, very expensive for small dishes that aren't that good. You're basically paying more because you're in Soho. It's also very small and crowded, barely any room to pass to grab the tapas in between the bar and tables.

An impromptu lunch which turned into a fabulous experience. The food was delicious and plenty of choice for me as a veggie. The staff were so friendly and made our experience so personal. Can't recommend enough and will be back there soon.

Very enjoyable lunch at a pintxos restaurant / bar. We had a few hot tapas and selected three tapas each (goats cheese with fig was our favourite) from the bar, washed down with a glass of Godello. Service attentive and helpful.

Service charge should not be included as you have to go the bar yourself for most foods.

Poor experience, I can’t really agree with the good reviews about this place. It’s super small and you end up with a mignature table. The food on the bar is always cold and dry, nothing special, as well as the cocktails, loads of ice and very little drink. Service very questionable as you need to chase things. In addition, it’s pricey for really something very cheap (the ingredients do not even seem that fresh). I wouldn’t go back.

Nice atmosphere. What I had was tasty. A little awkward getting up for the food (table with stools) and missed a couple of dishes as needed replacing.

Cosy little tapas joint with an amazing selection of dishes and cocktails! We loved the authenticity of being able to pick and choose any number of small plates at the bar whilst enjoying a drink, going back for seconds, thirds and fourths!!

Lovely place to pop in to for us , pre panto or whatever we may be doing in town; have been going there for years. More or less lively depending on time of year and time of day - we like it both ways. Go there and find out!

Each an every visit to Pix Soho is excellent. The food is superb and the staff and atmosphere are fun and welcoming. It's a great place for a solo dining experience too. I'll keep going back!

The place has a wonderful pub atmosphere, the personnel is kind and respectful and the drinks are alright. Their food although is overpriced as portions are small and is not so tasty. I believe that for drinking and hanging out is perfectly fine

I work at a Corporate in Soho and our caterer let us down 2 hours before an event. I contacted Pix and despite being rammed with Christmas parties, they turned around tapas for 40 in 90 minutes - and carried it to the office. The food was *AMAZING* and the service from the deputy manager *EXEMPLARY*. Thank you Pix for delicious food and being an event-saver! Best place!

Service above and beyond! There was a mix up for my friend’s birthday booking which meant the table she’d booked wasn’t available at all, and we couldn’t be seated until 40 minutes after we were scheduled to be. The staff made an extra effort the whole night for us, and were so accommodating and generous. The food was also very good of course, and the energy of the place is great, but outstanding care for their guests is what I will remember them for. We all had a fantastic and fun filled night that could have been spoiled by the mix-up, but instead good customer service saved the day! Thanks for making this Birthday a memorable one!

About the 10th time I’ve been here, always great. We were a bit late and had theatre tickets so had to be a bit wham bam thank you ma’am. In and out in an hour, thoroughly stuffed and very happy. Staff were on it helping us wizz through a lovely meal.

We had another phenomenal meal at Pix. Always reliable and delicious.

Visited 01/12 and was greated with a smile and showed to my seating area. The staff explained the concept and the hot dishes were served quickly. Great tasting little plates with a nice jug of Sangeria perfect way to kick off a Friday night.

Overall a good experience. Staff are friendly but need a little extra training. Nothing serious, just forgetting things and bringing wrong dishes. All rectified really easily by the manager.

The method in which you order (and serve yourself) tapas was unique, but it didn't hinder the experience at all! The tapas were delicious and I was able to try so many. The space is fairly small, though. So, if you're seated up at the front near the bar, you will be squished in pretty tight. Still, I loved the experience!

Some lovely original mini-dishes and being able to help yourself definitely encouraged experimentation! A great buzz; we really enjoyed it.

Food wasn’t great and we found it to be very overpriced. Looking at the menu we thought it sounded nice and we assumed the prices were for a couple portions of each thing. The lamb skewer, for example, was described as “lamb skewerS” on the menu. It was a £7 dish. When it arrived it was a 2.5” singular skewer. With 3 small pieces of lamb on it. I asked where the other ones were, as on the menu it says skewers plural, and was told nope it was just the one. One measly skewer for £7 + service. A tiny (and dry) vegetarian empanada was £4. When we sat down we assumed we would get 2 meatless empanadas for £4. I know the point of tapas is sharing, but I have never had to cut one empanada in half at any other restaurant. The alternative was paying £8 for two very small very average, possibly below average, empanadas. Which would have been ridiculous. Even in London. Most of the food was dry actually, I think maybe because they leave it out on the bar for people to take for god knows how long rather than cooking to order. None of the dishes were a standout and none were priced reasonably. The leek and ham croquettas were the best item, but we had to pay over £2 per croquetta and they were again, extremely small. £2 + service for a singular bite. And I don’t mind paying expensive prices when I am fine dining, but this is not remotely fine dining. This was supposed to be a quick and fun bite to eat after an afternoon of shopping. The decor and furniture further the point that this is absolutely not fine dining. The tables are extremely small and you sit on backless stools, so not very comfortable. We sat along the bar walk and I was elbowed in the back several times by the woman sitting behind me.

This place is amazing, honestly could not say a bad thing at all about this place! Definitely coming back! From the cocktails ( especially if you an espresso martini) and the people are amazing. If you are here ask for MARCO, he is the best ever and super kind and anything you ask he gives!!!

Have been coming here for years and was a bit concerned after reading some reviews, but pleased to say in our experience Pix remains as good as ever. Food cost per person was around £30 for 6 dishes, which is very reasonable for central London. Excellent music and cocktails as always. The pintxo concept may not be for everyone, but these guys do it very well. See you again soon.

First time visit after a recommendation. Couldn't fault it. Cosy, friendly service and great music. They had just introduced the Autumn menu so lots of wintery comforts. We particularly liked the pimientos with pomegranate and ajo blanco, meatballs and calamares. The wine list had lots of interesting options we hadn't tried before which added to the experience. Credit to the waiter for throwing the txacoli like a pro. Will be bakc to try Rooms by the Hour - shame we couldn't stay longer.

Lovely restaurant and excellent service from staff. The food is delicious and it’s great to have the small plate concept and order as you go. Very affordable for the quality.
