This little treasure was a little off the beaten track.. Keep going, even after you've doubted your directions...keep going...and you'll arrive at your desired destination..finally. The food is AMAZING! Even the chips are the best I've ever tasted!...And then there's the Crab Roll..DELICIOUS and sooo worth the trek 😋 A must find..A must eat... Enjoy 🦀 We'll be back in 2024 ❤️

This place never fails to amaze me. Booked for Sunday lunch good choice of mains and very large portions as well. The staff were excellent and the service was great. Can I complain. Steff that Posh Peach Bread and butter pudding was to die for. It was so good I nearly ordered a second helping :) Send me the recipes please Thank you

Was hoping to receive award winning fish and chips having seen all the awards, but the batter was not great, chips were (as others have mentioned) a bit of a mush stuck to the fish, and person serving us seemed completely disinterested and bored. The fish cake wasn’t bad, but overall a disappointment especially as we waited ages for it to be cooked “fresh”.

We have a very large dog, it wasn’t a problem at all, we sat outside for first visit enjoying the lovely view of the beach and surroundings. Bought drinks and asked about doggy ice cream which was in a different part of the buoy no problem pay at bar and go to other part pick it up, They were all so welcoming and helpful. Next visit had on of their own pizzas my wife had vegetarian I had meat, both very nice. They have a separate room where no dogs allowed so cater for everyone.

I've seen other reviews stating poor service....but the lady who served me today was lovely and the cod and chips we had were excellent. The batter was very crisp, the cod was perfectly moist, and everything had a lovely rich taste of beef dripping. A nice touch was that the fish was given a separate box from the chips (rather than trying to squash it all in one box). I've also seen a few reviews complaining about the price....but having eaten around a few fish and chip restaurants around the country I can say this is about the norm these days.
