Cafe Mor in Pembrokeshire

This little treasure was a little off the beaten track.. Keep going, even after you've doubted your directions...keep going...and you'll arrive at your desired destination..finally. The food is AMAZING! Even the chips are the best I've ever tasted!...And then there's the Crab Roll..DELICIOUS and sooo worth the trek 😋 A must find..A must eat... Enjoy 🦀 We'll be back in 2024 ❤️

Had such a great meal in the Old Point House restaurant last night that we went back to have lunch at their Cafe Mor today. The cafe used to be at Freshwater West, but has found a great location in the garden of the Old Point House. We had the Classic and the Mor burgers. They are not cheap, but they are truly excellent - and therefore I think very much worth the journey and the money. Great service again. Thank you.

We chose the cafe after it was recommended in the Times. Unfortunately we chose the very expensive crab roll and were very disappointed. A dry roll with very dry crab mixture, very little salad, we were offered sauces but the glass jars very dirty and not looked after. We will not go again not believe any recommendation of the Times.

Nice location, great atmosphere but pricy food. The food we had was delicious. All is served as “street food” in paper trays.

The food was delicious. Nice for a weekend treat. However, prices were a little on the high side, especially as you aren't really having a served, sit-down meal. Staff were OK but were extremely and unnecessarily loud. They were practically only taking card payments as "they didn't have change" which I think is an issue that could have been rectified rather than just taking card payments.

Went today and what a disappointment it was, the Cafe Mor was closed with a sign saying order inside, It was not very busy, only two people in the restaurant and spare tables outside, we were told there would be a wait of at least an hour for food and this was 3.30 in the afternoon, the prices are crazy and there was no lobster or crab available, the whole place is very scruffy, do yourself a favour and give it a miss, living on a name.

Unpleasantly surprised to find lobster rolls priced at £25 and crab rolls at £18.50. Unbelievable. Bought top quality rolls elsewhere for far less.

I came here today after reading excellent reviews online about this place but when we arrived at 3pm it was closed one hour before it says and I had even phoned in the morning and they said that they will be open until 4pm. I am extremely unhappy as I had driven half an hour down narrow roads to get to Cafe Môr which is apparently one of the best places to get fresh Pembrokeshire produce.

We stopped here for lunch which was so good. The food came really quickly and was excellent, in particular, the fries with kelpchup was so good we had to buy a bottle to take home with us. I also had the oysters which were very fresh.

4 of us ate lunch here recently- we had the burgers and awesome chips. Must try the kelchup too so tasty. The Old Pointe pub is lovely good drinks and don't forget to purchase a bottle of Barti rum - absolutely delicious. Don't miss this place also there's amazing walks all around.

Finally managed to get across to Cafe Mor after the pandemic. The trailer is now part of The Pointhouse in Angle a short drive away from Freshwater West. Fantastic food and another lovely location. Decent parking and facilities. The Pointhouse also does an inside sit down menu.

Lovely spot in the Summer. Nice view next to the inlet. Lovely staff. Lovely crab and lobster rolls plus the chips with seaweed salt. If in the area hitting the beaches, worth a short de-tour for a roll & a pint.

We were so looking forward to visiting the pub but have to say we were really disappointed The bacon, cockles and seaweed wrap was just a salt explosion and was inedible, the side order of fries were clearly the scrapings from the bottom of the pan and were dark and just a mass of grease Never again, please return to the car park where food was excellent and not the limited menu you have on offer after a long awkward drive up an unkempt road in Angle
