Beautifully cooked fresh chips. Being local, we've tried all the chip shops in Tenby and Pipers is at the top of the tree for value and taste.

Will avoid this place in the future. Terrible service, owner / person behind the counter really grumpy and rude before even given the chance to order. Rude to the customers in front of me, shouted at my 4 year old. So took the family around the corner to D. Fecci and Sons where the food was amazing there and the staff were great. Plus there was a huge restaurant that aloud dogs.

Outstanding food and service, an absolute gem of a place to eat. Don't go anywhere else! On hols from Cork, Ireland and had a craving for fish and chips, this takeaway was the best I've had in years. Top class.

Delicious fish and chips and fabulous service. We sat down to eat and were taking up a lot of room with a pram, we were made very welcome and enjoyed our food!

This owner sold me the ends of the day chips but took money for fresh one!!! Disgusting and disappointing. He forgets that he is watching everyone and everything!! If that’s how you cheat people you will not go far…

The food was lovely however the customer service was appalling. “Tell me everything you want, quickly I’m busy”. Between us, we spent over £50 and much of the second part of the order was misunderstood however this was rectified quickly. If you can get past rudeness, the food is worth it. I can’t deny however that it’s somewhat off putting when the staff speak to you in this way.

Came to Tenby with mates for a couple nights for a post-university getaway. We visited Pipers fish and chips on the first night and were very satisfied with the food and service.

Gentleman taking order was really friendly and witty excellent with my little boy ,quick service fish and chips were top draw. Upon any visit to Tenby seaside will be having again!!

We discovered Pipers on our first visit to Tenby and visited again yesterday (Sunday) and was just as good as we remembered. The owner, Mike, is super friendly but more importantly the cod & chips are excellent, great batter and even threw in some old fashioned scraps.

We had a great experience at Pipers. Food was high quality and very tasty. Service was excellent and staff were friendly and accommodating.

Greasy, small portions and very expensive. Guy serving was tidy, but when you realise he charged you over £7 for a portion of chips with cheese on, it takes the shine of the service. £7 for a battered cod the size of a whitebait. Go elsewhere and save your arteries and wallet.

The first time we visited, the chippy had closed early so we left empty-handed. The second time, we received overcooked, dry chips and wished they had closed early again.

My first choice of Tenbys fish and chips shop. Surprisenly chips seem to taste different in all the towns chip shop. These are by far the best.

We bought cod and chips from Pipers having read some positive comments. However the fish was really quite small compared to others we have had and the chips were not very crisp.

Good service and nicely served fish and chips. Chips were particularly good. All the family enjoyed the cod. I like the oil the chips are cooked in. Conveniently situated.

Absolutely unbelievable fish and chips. The fish was to die for, lovely and succulent and the skin was crispy and delicate. Make sure you wear a had before you eat because it will get blown off. Highly recommend.

Day trip to Tenby from Carmarthen whilst on a few days holiday! Best chips I have ever tasted, and can’t wait till we return for a holiday again in 2024. And people saying watch the seagulls, they never bothered us at all, pigeons a bit of a pest though wheee we sat to eat them.

Staff seem to be operating at 10% capacity waited about 40 minutes for takeaway with some anemic chips and the runniest curry sauce I've ever had in my life basically light brown water.

We asked for cod and chips, but the boss man kept calling it fish and chips. It was not very good and I doubt very much if it was cod! Lots of chips. The place is very clean and was a bit cheaper than competitors around the corner and up the road. Would certainly try somewhere else next time.

I've given 1star because it's not possible to give 0. The worst fish and chips I've ever had. Both my husband and I had haddock and chips. The fish was dry, with lots of bones and the batter was greasy and soggy. The chips were dry, hard scraps, with barely any actual chips in them. At £19.50 not even a cheep meal. Ate the only chips I could find and a small amount of fish, the rest went in the bin. Terrible, would never go back.

Went here while on a family trip, have to say Andy and Christine were so friendly. We sat inside and had fantastic service. Nothing was to mush to ask. Highly recommend to go to this place. We will next time we’re in tenby. Thankyou guys for the lovely food and being so friendly.

Amazing fresh food. Chips were crispy, light and hot. Haddock was beautiful! Fresh, cooked to order in a batter that wasn’t greasy or too thick. Obligatory curry sauce was perfect too Going back for sure!

Wow, Wow Wow. The Best chipy, No this is a proper Fish & Chip Palace. We had fish, chips, fish bits and ( I might get this wrong just according where your from) bits. Cannot fault the food, cooked to perfection plus good conversation with the owner. Not that expensive either, we payed more in Saundersfoot and it was a million miles away from this food. Nice one keep it up you fish quantity was excellent, not had bits like that since I was a kid, 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍👍👍👍

This chip shop was fantastic!! I was the only one we could find open bank holiday Monday evening and I’m so glad we did. The menu was great and the prices were really good and it was refreshing to see them not over inflated due to the holiday period. Great tasting food and even better service thank you!

We have eaten here on many occasions and as we work and live local I have to say the quality of the fish and chips is second to none covid regulations all in place friendly owners and wonderful service no doubt we will be back...

It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday lunchtime, and we did have to wait for 10-15 minutes to be served, but thankfully we did wait. We has 2 lots of fish and chips, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Stunning. Great fish, great batter, and lovely chips. Thank you, they made the day.

Had to queue outside for 45 mins there is only one person serving and one at a time allowed in . Fish is £5 large chips £3.50 so for 2 people it was £13.50 sharing chips which were an enormous portion cod had nice crispy...

After queuing for 30 minutes so disappointed in the fish which was the smallest portion of fish hidden under the chips I have ever had. Don't waste your money here.

Just visited this shop and was refused food due to not wearing a mask . Explained due to a lung condition I was on the exemption list , then asked to provide proof of this . Explained I had left pass back at hotel and was refused takeaway food .

My kids and I went for lunch on the Saturday before lockdown restrictions were lifted so it was takeaway only. The food is so fresh and tasty though that it gets top marks. There is also a wiring system outside and screens in the takeaway....
