The best fish and chips we’ve had! So tasty, the chips are amazing and the homemade coleslaw is something else! Lovely chap who runs it and would highly recommend

The pied piper of Neath. After a look day blundering around Wales and before stepping on to the train bound for london my esteemed colleagues and I ventured into this fish and chip emporium. What a delight! Fabulous Fresh cod in a delicious beer batter. I think the chips may have been cooked in some sort of lard perhaps anyway callorhorrific perhaps but truly delicious. By all accounts the meat pie was a win too !

We visited on a Monday night as a party of three and the food, starters and mains were all excellent. Stand out on the starters was the goats cheese tart and my Pork pate and pickle was very nicely presented. The cod in the cod Kiev was fresh and flaky. Both Halibut mains were superb. Attentive service and overall an excellent meal and good value for money.

For the best fish and chips in Cardiff . Five star food and five star service , wouldn't dream of getting my fish and chips from anywhere else crispy golden batter beautifully cooked fish and hot steaming chips covered with lashings of salt and vinegar and hot spicy curry sauce. Hits the spot every time thank you.

Surprised at the high reviews. It's not up to the standard of the chippies around me in Yorkshire. The staff are a little abrupt with out of towners too. I asked for a breadcake and the response was 'a what? Do you mean a bread roll!?' and not in a jokey way either. The unforgivable thing though is the peas. The mushy peas are mushed up garden peas. At a chip shop!? Disgraceful! The other stuff is ok. Skin on fish which I don't mind but prefer a choice. Chips were decent. Nothing special though and not the cheapest.

Location is lovely however if you have experienced good food then this is a let down. Firstly we were delivered two gin and Tonics with no gin. The starters we ordered were crispy pork belly. There was nothing crispy about this it was cold and tough and was sat on a cold purée not tasty at all Mains we had hake in a creamy sauce, chips and chefs veg. The fish was lovely however I don’t think anything on the plate had any seasoning apart from the paprika on the chips. The sauce was bland. After a disappointing two courses we didn’t bother with dessert. We won’t recommend and we are not food snobs just like tasty food

From booking on the phone, right up to paying, the service at Food By Sean @ N0600 was personable, professional and very friendly. We went for the Tim Burton-themed afternoon tea as my pre-birthday treat. Everything was delicious with a variety of flavours. Highlights? 🥪 The cheese and tomato chutney sandwich was delicious! 🥧 Mrs Lovetts meat pie was perfect! 🍒 The Dark Shadows forest tart had a great balance of sweet and tangy, and the sponge was sublime! Loved this gem and it was perfect for a rainy, autumnal day. Food By Sean @ N0600 in Ynystawe is a must. I thoroughly enjoyed and will be back again soon! Thank you! 🫶🏼
