The best fish and chips we’ve had! So tasty, the chips are amazing and the homemade coleslaw is something else! Lovely chap who runs it and would highly recommend

We saw that this little place was open and went in, because we were on holiday and were feeling good. It is basically one room, served by ONE waitress (I forget her name, very sorry). It was one of the best meals we have ever had! Delicious food! Wonderful service! Great place and simply fantastic.. Everyone from everywhere or anywhere should go. Best restaurant we have ever been to. Go! Go! Go to this!!

Surprised at the high reviews. It's not up to the standard of the chippies around me in Yorkshire. The staff are a little abrupt with out of towners too. I asked for a breadcake and the response was 'a what? Do you mean a bread roll!?' and not in a jokey way either. The unforgivable thing though is the peas. The mushy peas are mushed up garden peas. At a chip shop!? Disgraceful! The other stuff is ok. Skin on fish which I don't mind but prefer a choice. Chips were decent. Nothing special though and not the cheapest.

We were staying at the Marriot hotel nearby and was looking for somewhere to eat on Saturday evening. Passed here and thought we would give it a try as it looked so inviting and it was right on the Marina. On entering, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and quickly found us a table for 2. I ordered the Duck Wellington and my partner ordered the Wild Boar. Both meals were delicious and the service prompt. The staff were lovely and friendly, and Shauna couldn't do enough for us. The food was reasonably priced, but I found the drinks a little expensive but given the great location and views of the Marina it was expected. Overall, a great experience and we will be coming back. Recommended.
