Amazingly, tasty food. It is the best Chinese in the Merthyr.

Had Chinese food from here this evening, excellent tasty food, good portions and great value for money. Worth noting if the menu says it's hot (2 chillies next to the item) then it's got a kick! A nice change from the majority of other Chinese takeaways that have 'hot' dishes that don't have much spiciness at all. Well worth a visit if you're nearby!

This is my local takeaway they have a good traditional chip shop menu and a excellent Chinese one...never fails and staff are friendly and polite.

Good covid distancing, friendly staff...seem to be on 1st name terms with the locals. Food was tasty, if a little salty.

I've only been going here for the last few weeks and have to say I haven't had one bad meal. Food is really tasty and the staff there are really nice.

Best chippy in south wales lovely welsh village cefn coed , merthyr tydfil, great staff & great food , very busy but u get best chips & fish in area , chinese food also above all the rest best prices too good portions enjoy.

This is slowly becoming my favourite Chinese in town. Even the Prawn Crackers aren't too greasy. The chicken Foo Yung is very nice, the crispy beef is great too. Cool old pics of Merthyr on the wall to look at while you wait.

Not had Chinese dishes from here recently but have had Chinese curry sauce which is very tasty but pretty standard across most Chinese takeaways. Chips are usually very nice and very fresh. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Could do with a card payment facility but can’t fault the place on the whole. Rating the service as average but only as there is often a wait on food but although inconvenient it is not a bad thing really as means dishes are fresh and the place is always busy.

We needed a quick takeaway, on a flying overnight stop, so found this on trip advisor. We had some of the Chinese food and it was freshly cooked, well flavoured and not greasy. I’d go back in a flash.

Had a few Chinese takeaways from here and we all feel is the best and freshest Chinese in Merthyr. We ring to order and it's always ready at said time. Good value too!!!

Called in last week and had the best Fish and Chips ever .The staff are lovely , very friendly and polite , Spotlessly clean place , and the prices are reasonable .

Nice chips as they should be also had a set meal for 3 Chinese which was top dollar food is good staff are friendly

First visit to Sammys with a group of friends for a takeaway, all of us very much enjoyed the food and would definitely come back.I had the 10 chicken balls which comes with a sauce of your choice also, would like to eat them again now...

If this place isn't open we will not have a Chinese take away!! Five star food hygiene rating which is rare, food is lovely would highly recommend.

Been here a few times I must say I'm a big fan of the spring rolls but not so much the chips very hard the chicken curry is ok too many onions for my liking it's ok for a fish bar

called in as it was on high street and not much else around was going have fish chips but decided on pie chips in end pie was normal ok chips nothing write home about noticed they had seating area if you wanted to sit down to eat wont be rushing back

Wouldn't eat there ever again, food awful. Nothing but grease or cold and hard. Kids wouldn't even eat their food that we ordered for them

This is a Chinese Takeaway which also cooks traditional fish and chips, which were delicious. Orders cooked fresh

After walking out of the Mango House(see My review) I had Cod and chips freshly cooked,and pleasant service.

I have worked in this fish shop and the cleanliness is second to none! They take pride in their food & quality. Highly recommend.

Based on High St in Cefn Coed, happy welcoming staff and fantastic food. If your feeling a bit fruity or hot they've got a curry sauce to suit ;-)
