The best restaurants serving Seafood food in North Wales

Excellent fish,chips and mushy peas. Great staff and very friendly...........they do alot of online orders which is the way forward. I just walked in and only waited 10 minutes

Best fish and chip shop in town! They make all of their food to order and it definitely shows! The chips were perfectly golden and crispy on the outside. Fish was beautifully flaky and not greasy. Highly recommend you check them out over the other places in town—you will not be disappointed!

The fish was as fresh as being caught in front of your eyes, filletted and fried right then. Cooked to perfection, melt in the mouth, the batter wasn't oily at all, and the chips are not frozen ones. Better and tastier then most chip shops by the sea that I've tried. And the prices are really good. Highly recommend!!!

Visited the restaurant yesterday eve with 6 visitors from Austria. The whole experience was first class from the minute we arrived. Food was excellent, best scampi I have ever had. All the young staff were friendly efficient and went out of their way to make our visit exceptional!!! Will definitely be returning and reccomending👍👍👍👍

Amazing food and we were lucky to get a table, no wonder this place is now so popular. Reasonable prices too. Stifado and Mousaka were both amazing.

Over many years I have praised the quality of what I believed the best fish and chips in Wales. Unfortunately I don’t know what went wrong but the fish was the worst I’ve tried to eat. The batter was Dark brown (burnt) and oily and the fish was dry and chewy; even tasteless. Not the golden brown like normally. I liked the chips and curry sauce along with a milky coffee, that she brought to my table. I made sure I informed the lovely young lady about my concerns and she did offer me a refund but like I say ”it wasn’t about the money” but they needed too be made aware of the situation. Sorry but I needed to say something.

This evening we went to the Sea Shanty to sample the new winter menu. what a truly bitter disappointment it was. I ordered liver bacon and onion gravy served with mash potato. It arrived drowned in gravy you couldn’t see anything except a brown liquid which was tasteless. My husband had the turkey dinner also swamped in a light coloured gravy also tasteless. All the food looked as if it had been cooked a couple of days ago and warmed up in the microwave and then flooded with soulless gravy. They did offer us something else which we declined. As regular customers who have visited regularly ever since it opened I can only think it was just a bad night or the so called chef was having an off day. Please sort it out as your food is normally tasty and good to eat.

I consider myself to be something of a seafood connoisseur and this was up there with the best. 5 of us and we all had something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed what we had. Great

Booked for 2 nights at the Riverside. The bedrooms were recently refurbished and opened. The bedroom was excellent and bathroom likewise. We ordered what we wanted for breakfast on arrival and following morning was freshly cooked. Both mornings the cooked breakfast set us up for the day. Having been in North Yorkshire the previous week for 3 days the prices were comparable. Would we stay again. Yes, we certainly would.

We found the food, service, ambiance and cleanliness at La Marina to be excellent. It is in a nice location opposite the marina/dock at Y Felinheli. We recommend La Marina for somewhere with a 'touch of class' to enjoy a meal.
