The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Glasgow and Surrounding

First time back since last year . Much improved. Kerr our waiter friendly and helpful. Menu so much better and wait times shorter for food. Had stopped going as delay for food sometimes over an hour. In marina . Window seat and nice post prandial stroll down to beach afterwards.

Absolutely outstanding. We ordered each of the dishes on the menu and they were all 10 out of 10. Young staff enthusiastic despite the closure. But wait.......we can never go back despite being very keen to do so,,,,why you ask...well its now closed down. Now if this restaurant was in the Merchant City/Finniston or the south side it would have been packed out every day, but because of its location right in the city centre it didn't stand a chance. Oh and the lack of publicity did not help. So guys you have missed the boat on this one, mores the pity.

Tuvimos una tarde gloriosa sentados en la parte al aire libre de ziques. . . servicio increíble vibraciones eran geniales! Y la comida... Santo cielo, la ensalada de gambas iba a morir por grandes gambas jugosas llenas de sabor. ¡Sigan haciendo lo que sus chicos volverán! Disfrutamos de un negroni durante el almuerzo y fue simplemente fantástico.

First, the good points: I can honestly commend the staff for their patience and generosity to the children at our table, who were having a bit of a rough morning. I'm sure the parents were grateful! The food and drink that I ordered were tasty, and I appreciated the creative options for dietary requirements, especially so many great choices that don't involve coffee. On the downside: I ordered one of the daily specials, a Spanish tortilla at £9.50 described as coming with alioli. This was accurate but the slice of tortilla was definitely a demure portion and I was still hungry, but did not feel like ordering anything else pricey or with a wait-time... I was asked a few times if I was sure I didn't want a cake but there were not that many options of those at the time. I'm not averse to paying for quality but I think £9.50 would justify a bigger slice of tortilla and maybe even a token amount of fresh greens or other salad alongside it. Please take that as constructive suggestions as it's not my intention to be mean.

Wonderful food, wonderful service, in a beautiful setting. Perfect.

We did a three week trip through Scotland and this was one of the best Scottish restaurants we’ve been too. Can only recommend. Everything was delicious. We had oysters as a starter, both a main, dessert with coffee/tea and whisky. We had our big dog with us and they were very welcoming toward him and gave him water as well as treats.

Note that they no longer do gluten-free fish and chips

Can’t beat the pizzas out here ,tried other places but none as good as here for pizzas and chips was great as well

I took my husband family and friends to the fish boat for my husbands birthday fantastic service from the beautiful staff made to feel so welcome the meals were lovely and tasty and what a lovely surprise the staff brought my husband a chocolate brownie with ice cream fresh cream petite marshmallows and chocolate sauce it was such a beautiful gesture and it made his night i would highly recommend the fish boat as the service is wonderful congratulations to mr mcmonigal for the wonderful staff its such a pleasure to dine here you should be so proud of your staff Thankyou for the wonderful night .

I often come here when the person I look after wants a takeaway so I always oblige. Always fantastic food, never had a bad meal, the staff are always chatty and welcoming.

Went today to try out the Sunday roast, we were really looking forward to it as we had seen a lot on TikTok about how amazing it was. Well I was sorely disappointed the Yorkies were burnt the meat wouldn’t cut and the roast tatties were rubbery. The good things on the plate was the veg and the mac n cheese. Then came the bill which had a service charge of 10% on it and had the cheek to say on it if you wanted to add a gratuity on it, now even with the issues with the food the staff were lovely and if it hadn’t have been for the service charge a bigger tip would have been left. Won’t be going back. We tried it but definitely not for us.

Después de haber visitado el Rogano en mis veinte años ahora en mis setenta descubrí que el restaurante aún tenía ese encanto de elegancia y clase. El personal era excelente y el servicio era tan excelente como podía recordar. Dice mucho volver a un lugar después de tantos años, pero me encantó.

¡Conseguí una cena de pescado de esta pequeña joya esta noche y es sin duda la mejor que he probado! Tan fresco, enorme y rebozado agradable y crujiente. Definitivamente volveremos.

A good selection of food and excellent coffee. There`s a choice of about 5 rolls and the fillings that go inside are high quality. ( I watched as a nice hunk of ham was sliced to fill my roll. Yum!) Nice fresh salad and the homemade coleslaw is lovely. And the prices are really Best of all is the friendly service. The two ladies who own it really make you feel at home. Highly recommended
