First, the good points: I can honestly commend the staff for their patience and generosity to the children at our table, who were having a bit of a rough morning. I'm sure the parents were grateful! The food and drink that I ordered were tasty, and I appreciated the creative options for dietary requirements, especially so many great choices that don't involve coffee. On the downside: I ordered one of the daily specials, a Spanish tortilla at £9.50 described as coming with alioli. This was accurate but the slice of tortilla was definitely a demure portion and I was still hungry, but did not feel like ordering anything else pricey or with a wait-time... I was asked a few times if I was sure I didn't want a cake but there were not that many options of those at the time. I'm not averse to paying for quality but I think £9.50 would justify a bigger slice of tortilla and maybe even a token amount of fresh greens or other salad alongside it. Please take that as constructive suggestions as it's not my intention to be mean.

I popped into Locker for a coffee for the first time and was delighted by it. There was a wide range of beautiful baked-on-the-premises bread and cakes. Their strawberry tart was the best I'd ever tasted, and the staff were helpful and very friendly. There are lots of coffee shops/lunch stops in the Hyndland area but I wouldn't go anywhere else in future.

A nice discovery on Clarence Drive having surprisingly noted that the Hyndland Fox is now a Peckhams (I need to keep up following 2-years of nonsense). Walk-ins welcomed (other establishments take not) too, and this is a plus point. Coffee is great and we had breakfast rolls - doublers - and all for under £15. Decent fayre given the outrageous price hikes we are accepting. One note here though - the Locker's main breakfast has a whopping price tag of £13 - for me (us) that's way too high and not in any way justifiable. That said, it's a wee place to go our 'new' list of favourites.

A friend bought me a voucher as a gift to come here. Am I glad she did! Fabulous little place. Chilled vibe, staff are lovely and so helpful. I had the veggie breakfast absolutely yummy, the coffee was lovely followed by the billionaire shortbread with the white chocolate on top, absolutely delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Visited as a party of three for Sunday brunch. Opens at 10am, we were there at 10.30,having booked but there were a few spaces for walk ins. A very varied menu and the best value coffee I've had- large mug was £2.50. We all had a different brunch item and shared a fresh baked blondie -all tasty and fresh. Open view to kitchen and all the freshly baked bread, huge yorkshire puddings and other tasty treats being prepared, this place shouldn't be overlooked.

I bought a voucher through groupon and didn’t know what to expect. I was so impressed! The food was delicious, so tasty and portions were great. We also got green tea and it was lovely, full teapot. I took my toddler along also and they provided a smaller brunch for her which was ideal. The server was so attentive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. He was also a hit with my toddler, which is always great going out to eat. I booked another voucher as soon as I left! Would highly recommend!

Visited with a friend for late lunch and was seated straight away by lovely friendly FOH Hannah - she answered our questions about the food and I opted for the Duck Confit Rosti with eggs and my friend opted for the Eggs Romesco. As they are made from fresh we had a small wait but it was absolutely worth it. Fresh, hot and beautifully presented. We had coffees and water at the table and were left to chat without being hurried, though if they are busy they do have time slots. The cakes looked amazing but we were too full so took some home with us.

Absolutely phenomenal crab eggs benny and sourdough. Loved watching the chefs work. Team looked very in sync, when the girl was very busy on the coffee machine the chef came to take our order. Will be back every weekend

Absolutely amazing beef Wellington and the trimmings. Arrived well packaged and really great instructions. I’d be aware that ovens are different so used slightly less timing to get mine med/rare in the middle. Chef Herrington well done

Decent fish & chips takeaway right by Balloch Station. Very popular and great price - £7 for a single fish supper. Fish is nice but the chips were the star of the show! Service is speedy so don't be put off by the queue!

Terrible service. We arrived and ordered 6 drinks and 6 cakes. 4 drinks came out 20mins later without any warning about a delay in the other drinks so we asked for the other coffees and cakes. The waitress then comes out to retake our order as it seemed they had lost the original order. Another 10mins later our cakes came which were wrong and took 10mins to sort out. Once the 4 coffees and cakes had been finished the remaining 2 coffees came 40mins after the other 4 first drinks arrived. No apologies, no explanations and cafe was not busy. New managment is needed to turn the place around. It’s not hard to complete one order before moving onto the next. Being part of the Cameron house brand I would expect a lot better service, I feel this restaurant lseverely drags the Cameron house name down.
