Food not great, very bland and greasy, got a snack box and asked for another chicken goujon as I don't eat pork and was told no it can't be changed, every chippy I've been to has never had a problem, didnt think I was asking for much, also work stations were very greasy looking, overall I wouldn't recommend

The chips here used to be of excellent quality until very recently whereas on the last few occasions we've ordered chips from here, they've been seriously undercooked the point they were inedible and were only fit for the bin. I hope this isn't treated as a complaint but I feel this needs brought to your attention.

This was the best meal I have had out in a long time. The prawn risotto was amazing, I even had dessert which I don't normally-chocolate delice, equally gorgeous. Felt totally comfortable dining alone. I will definitely return!

In his haste to clear our table, the waiter dropped and smashed 2 glasses of water around us. He proceeded to clear up the table and mop the floor. He did not at any time communicate or engage with us. At no point, did he check that we were ok, offer an apology or ensure that any slithers of glass had landed near us. In fact, I had to point out to him where some glass has landed. My husband and I just looked at each other in amazement as he continued to robotically clear up the mess he had created. Yes, just a simple accident but it could have been handled so much better. We were literally dumbstruck. When I lifted up my bag to see that it was soaking he simply handed me a napkin! We subsequently paid the bill and still no communication, no apology, no 'how was your meal' , simply no interaction at all. As a result, I held back and went to speak to the girl at reception as I had wanted to pass on feedback to someone. Rather that be apologetic, she became defensive. And for that reason I am writing this review. We will not be returning. Such a shame as some of the other staff were lovely and the food was good too. Good customer service costs nothing, but the loss of a customer is costly!

If you like seafood you’ll have to look far and wide to find better. Outstanding quality. I had crab claws to start and lobster tagliatelle for main. The starter was one of the best I’ve had - and I’m not as young as I was - simply terrific. My partner has bass. All round would highly recommend. Very different vibe from the Belfast Mourne but every bit as good.

Great for a healthy brekky or lunch. Have tried granola bowl and salad bowl. You'll not be disappointed with the food, vide, decor...but on my 2nd visit I was stunned seeing staff wearing overtly republican hoodys...gobsmacked...if this your public image then so be it people will vote with their feet. I'll take my custom elsewhere...pity...like who running a trendy eaterie does that??? Wonder if staff in Lisburn Rd Belfast will wear similar attire?

El mítico puesto que nunca falla, y quieres tener cerca de casa un día de resaca lluvioso. Un fish and chip que no entra en el embalaje de grande, precios imbatibles, y servicio agradable. Inmejorable!

popped in here on a weekend away and was blown away. Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Batter was crispy, chips were fluffy in the middle. Thats all you need to know. Highly recommended

We had an evening meal here while staying in Carrickferus and you couldn't ask for better views over the marina. The service started off very good and the meal was lovely but, whilst a second round of drinks were ordered and a reminder given, they never turned up but were on the bill. Staff quick to apologise and correct bill but they lost a star for this in my opinion.
