Wonderful food, friendly accommodating staff, relaxed atmosphere - everything was perfect- nothing was too much trouble - highly recommended

We had another lovely meal last Saturday, we were outside for the Alpine menu, portions were huge and food as always was amazing. Booked for the 5th Anniversary evening, and cant wait !

Stopped by for lunch having read the reviews of this little place..oh my...the falafel wrap was to die for..absolutely delicious with a gorgeous mint dressing. Generous portion but I ate every last bit! My husband had Big Trev chicken in brioche which looked amazing and he enjoyed very much. Wonderful coffee and ice cream too. Will definitely be back next time I visit. Thanks 😊

Have just learned that Sea Fever is now permanently closed. To say I am gutted is an understatement, we have been there many times and each meal was absolutely superb, it was our main reason for visiting Bude from Hertfordshire, we would stay 2 nights and eat there on both of them.

Looe is on the up as a foodie destination because of places like this. Really tasty food. What else could you want from a restaurant!

Booked online excellent service confirmations etc .. on arrival was greeted by name which was a nice touch , even though it was only our third visit. We sat in the conservatory at the front but inside looked cosy and there is a bar area. There is a lunchtime special but we just chose what we fancied. Croquettes with truffle , mussels with cider chorizo and leek (delicious) calamari , albodingos (special) , patatas bravas . Nice wine ,good views ,excellent service .

Super tasty blackened monkfish 😋 and bangin’ scallops

This was our first visit to Crusoes. We hadn't ever heard of it so maybe needs some extra work on advertising and social media. The interior is lovely and has a wonderful view of the harbour. The menu is small but is a good thing as far as I am concerned as everything is freshly prepared and cooked by chef Gary. We all had the crab and prawn linguine which was really tasty. Friendly service and good food led to a lovely evening with friends

Vieiras de miel de Miso Cocinado en mantequilla de ajo casera, servido con masa madre. Luego tuvimos langostinos al estilo asiático. Cocinado en una mantequilla de ajo casera y servido con masa madre. Estos eran tan frescos y suculentos. Se puede decir que todos los mariscos se obtienen localmente. Termidor de cangrejo, cocinado en una salsa de queso cremoso y resistente. Servido con pan y crostini. Esto era tan morisco que casi pedimos otro. El Wagyu británico antorchado es un plato obligatorio. Tiras de wagyu sopleteadas servidas con sal, mantequilla de ajo y mayonesa wasabi. Este plato era absolutamente increíble. La carne estaba tan tierna y se derrite en la boca. Es genial ver a Dan preparar y cocinar los platos desde su cocina abierta. Esta visita conocimos a Charlotte, la encantadora novia de Dan. Great place with amazing staff - one of our favourite places in Swanage. Lovely food & drinks with the best view. Would highly recommend.

I've been to several award- winning fish and chip shops and this is better than any of them.... The cod and chips was perfectly cooked, service was friendly and efficient and prices are excellent value. Strongly recommended. Thank you both.

If you want fresh you aren’t getting much fresher, unless you are getting up early and on the boats with these guys. I bough a pot each of freshly cooked, Mussels, Cockles and Lobster from the friendly lady and seasoned them with the available salt, pepper, vinegar and hot sauce. I then spent the next 15 mins wandering the beach and the rock pools with my 4 yr old and enjoying the tastes of the sea. Best shellfish I’ve had this year. The same shellfish are available for £88 a plate in the nearby Nathan outlaw cafe. Today I appreciated the simple pleasures with less swearing involved in the prep and for just over a tenner.

Super welcome from a lovely lady. I had scampi and beans, pickled gherkin and mayonnaise. All the food was piping hot, cooked to perfection, and produced very quickly. And all for a very reasonable price. It really couldn’t have been better and I look forward to returning.

Decided to drop by for a late lunch while out shopping. Had Fish and Chips and we both agreed it was superb. Sitting outside on an autumn day was great. Service friendly and spot on. Made a shopping day perfect!!!!

Came by this evening in search of supper. Fish Lounge including its off sales counter has been renamed as Ocean Lounge Some tables laid but not open to the public on this Thursday in mid June 2022.
