Fantastic haddock and chips. Can't review any other food as I've only ever had the haddock. Lovely indoor seating and some kerbside seating if you get lucky enough with the weather.

Really good, the portions have got smaller and pricey, non the less really good night good service also great seafood as well.

Restaurant was a little short staffed but did not affect the quality of the food . We had the salmon fillet and the seabass , cant remember the dessert except that it was excellent . Accompanied by a decent bottle of malbec . Slightly disappointed that they could not make expresso martinis but would difinitely eat here again.

Had good fish and chips from this takeaway. Chips were very good , fish was fresh and battered crispy. Would visit again.

Don’t bother wasting your money at this fish and chip shop. No cod available at 6.30pm. Haddock was dry and very small. Like no haddock I have had before. Small overcooked fillet with Greasy batter. Chips weren’t nice either. Mushy peas tasted different to any others too. This was the only choice as the other fish and chip shops were closed. Reading other reviews I’m hoping I don’t have any after effects! Left most of my dinner.

Lovely fish freshly cooked, and nice chips. Does get busy at times, and you have a buzzer and wait outside. Friendly staff. Will be back

Just had the best fish and chips in Ambleside. Small fish and chips £9. Cooked fresh loads of chips,very filling and tasty.
