The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Waveney East of England

Just had a fantastic lunch at The Chippy. My partner had a skate wing meal and I had a haddock meal - both fresh and delicious! Service is fantastic and very efficient, would definitely recommend for great fish and chips in Lowestoft!

We called in to The Little Fish and Chip shop for our supper after spending a lovely afternoon in Southwold, we have been here many times, once again we had delicious fish n chips and my favourite fish cake, excellent quick service. Thank you for remembering us from the summer!!

The best fish and chip I've had in years. The batter was light and crispy the fish was cooked to perfection and the chips was tasty without a bitter after taste. I would recommend the chippy and give a score 💯 You have to try it for yourself and thank me later.

Very nice Fish n' Chips. Food is lovely. The only negative thing I would say is, you really do need to adjust your opening times on your website when you go abroad. I came down to your shop on Saturday 29th March at 4:45pm. You were closed with a handful of customers outside thinking you were open. I find it quite disrespectful. I hope you had a great holiday. We went down to Pablos on St. Peter's Street instead. Just as good but a bit more expensive & a longer walk. I don't find it a problem if you go on holiday...... what I do find a problem is you don't tell your LOYAL customer's what you plan to do.

Just relocated to Lowestoft - food was amazing and had a lovely chat with the delivery lady :) A+ (and never EVER stop doing the won tons - they were incredible!)

Eagerly awaited my Friday chip shop treat. This week I was indulging my Friday treat in Kirklee Run. The chippy had a huge fatheringmof customers which is always a great indication of things to come. Advertised in the window was their meal deals and for £3.85 I had chips, 2x sausage and curry sauce. Piping hot and tasty was my overriding thoughts. They accept card as well which is always a winner... Returned to my favourite and fresh, hot and super tasty

Best fish and chips we have had in many years. Visited Pakefield from The Midlands and again had to have fish and chips and curry sauce. Never dissapointed 5 star

This is a regular destination for us. Once a month we collect about 15 meals for the workforce. The fish is good quality, the chips are a good potato variety and all cooked to perfection. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Wow, What a fish & chip shop as simply awesome, Very friendly owner as very nice staff, Great prices & as for the fish & chips , 10 out of 10, I am some would say a fussy eater, Everything is spot on here & the curry sauce is just fab too, The is by far the best fish & chip shop i have been too thus far......

I returned to this spot around 20 years after first coming and remembering how nice it was. Has definitely changed but still great seafood, and probably a bit more comfortable! The setting is great, in the harbour and the views from some of the tables are really lovely. You can make up your own seafood platter which was good value - the fresh mackerel was absolutely delicious, and we also had a fishcakes which was probably the nicest fishcake I’ve ever had. No kids menu but our children loved the fish and chips and mussels. Friendly staff and very cosy interior. Would definitely return.

6 of us had a glorious supper last night, the food and service was perfect!. The fish was white, fresh and in a gorgeous crispy batter. Chips were also hot and tasty. We had a generous portion of mushy peas too. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
