Best chip around! Just a shame they aren't open more often but understandable 😊 love how fresh the food is and the batter is just incredible not your usual chip shop batter!

We love this restaurant and love the fact that you are back in Holmfirth but tonight was not up to your usual high standards. The table was wobbly, the restaurant was freezing and the service was slow. We had the 2 courses special - the soup and Camembert and the fish and chips were fabulous. The quality of the roast beef was poor and we couldn’t eat it. We couldn’t stay for dessert we were so cold. We then came to pay and discovered that the Camembert was £5 supplement for a started which it didn’t say in the menu - if we hadn’t checked that would have just gone through - the waitress did take off after some discussion with a few members of staff who didn’t seem interested. The pricing doesn’t seem right for this offer - surely the more courses you have the better value - The fish and chips is £19.99 - nearly £3 more than if you just ordered it on the main menu, and then a £5 supplement makes a starter £ 12. The waitress staff were lovely and polite but lacked the direction of anyone more senior. We will come back as it is one of our favourites in Holmfirth. Thank you

Friendly family run fish and chip shop with dine in tables, the fish and chips here are superb as are all the dishes, the fish is white and of the highest quality, the batter is light and crispy and not at all greasy, the chips are superb and again they are not greasy, crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, my friend said his rock and chips was the best he’d ever had. We go there regularly and are never disappointed.

Really excellent food and drinks, all served incredibly well. The specials deal on a Wednesday and Thursday night is excellent value and I'd certainly recommend!

Quite simply our favourite place in Swanage to spend a few hours, watching the view , listening to the sea, creating memories and with Molly and her great team. The food and drink are first class and the atmosphere is unbearable

Came to Morecambe for the week end with friends for a music festival, my wife suggested this place, decided to try it on my own, the venue is very welcoming and bar staff friendly, the bay chowder is situated on the left side of the bar, ordered a Morecambe bay chowder, it was really delicious plenty of fish and potatoes, the ambiance is great i would and will recommend if visiting Morecambe.

Just had an amazing meal with friends. Food was very good sized portions and tasted delicious. Almost felt like we were back in Portugal. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back.

Fab, fab, fab. Went for lunch today. Lobster (caught that day just around the headland), chips, salad and corn 🌽. Absolutely perfect. Owner and staff so friendly and accommodating. Location is superb. Wine/beer/drinks menu extensive. Can't recommend it enough.

Dave the owner was very helpful and his hand dived scallops were amazing, my pic does not do them justice but they were still very tasty. Thanks for the use of the kayaks also 👍

We have just had a fantastic meal at koi Sakana. Delicious sashimi board with large pieces of salmon and scallop. Nicely presented. Followed by cooked oysters and miso honey scallops. All cooked in front of you if you are sitting at the bar. Would definitely recommend and would suggest bar seating as a must.

Quirky little restaurant with limited covers so do book up. Excellent seafood tapas served by lovely and friendly staff/owners Food came at a good pace, not rushed. Chef a larger than life and jolly character who obviously takes pride I his cooking. Recommended
