Fish and chip butty after a long walk 10/10!

This place is always busy, with good reason, the food is excellent. Ordered fish and chips for the four of us, everyone was delighted with the quality. Service efficient and friendly, they clearly have a good rapport with their local customers as everyone on first name terms but us occasionals are treated with the same kindness.

Chapel Street Chippy Queensbury. Fish Special £7.90 : 22 miles : 50 minutes to get there. Big fish, had to break it to fit in the box, also threw in a dozen chips. Best Fish N Chips I’ve ever had.

I thought I'd tasted the best fish and chips until I'd been to this place. I'd drive 50 miles to eat this food, it's just incredible.

Easily the best chippy in Queensbury, quality is challenged by none. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a local chippy for dinner!

Ordered fish and chips and a fish . Just over £10 so very competitively priced . Very large fish portions and they also throw in a few chips with the single fish, a touch which I really appreciate as it saves someone nicking some of yours Great price, portions and a few extra chips thrown in too. What’s not to like? Also worth mentioning that the proprietors Scott and Helen are super friendly .

Always a great friendly service , huge portions and reasonable priced . When I order a fish on its own for my mum, they always throw a few chips in as well which is greatly appreciated ( or mine get pinched ) much better than most of the other places locally , including the one in a neighbouring village that supposedly one an award

Food is average. The issue I have is the customers dumping their vehicles outside my house! I live on a private road and keep being faced with not being able to park outside my house! Not my problem there's no parking outside your shop. Tell your customers to use the parking on chapel street!

I have eaten at Fish and Chip shops all over the UK. They don't supply cod here, but the batter and Haddock and chips is superb! As is the sevice. Price is reasonable too. Odd opening times but hey who cares. Worth the wait. Wouldn't go anywhere else in the old mill village!

Great fish and chip shop, always fresh food carnt fault it. Reasonable prices and friendly staff, always queing when you go! Only means one thing though.

Can get busy, customer service needs work as does the food. Didn't feel welcomed and no pre order on fish until inside the shop which makes waiting times longer somewhat, and food isn't worth waiting for particularly when so many other places available locally

Top quality fish and chips here which I find rare today, very clean premises . Service is second to none a menu for everyone young and old. We travel from brighouse fish and chips are always consistent quality a credit to the owners. Even if your not local and you are in the area I highly recommend you calling here and eating the fish and chips in the car

One of the best fish & Chip shops in West Yorkshire Quality and quantity, being a true Yorkshire man I value both and when you visit Scott and Helens, believe me you wont be disappointed. Staff are friendly but be warned, it gets really busy at tea times and you can see customers queuing outside on a regular occurrence

not only is the food lovely they offer tomato sauce for free! none of this 10p a packet job! I have never had a bad experience and I have been going to them for over 7 years! it is the best in the village! scott and his wife are lovely.
