The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in Scotland

I went here with a few friends last week. Ordered a couple of pizzas, garlic bread with cheese, burgers, some loaded fries, salt and spice fries and a salad. Everything was amazing. We sat and ate our food in the beautiful garden behind the shop. We didn’t even know about the garden before the owner mentioned it. Was a bit chilly but looking forward to coming back when the weather’s better.

Got a carryout delivered tonight we shop here once a week no problems ever but tonight my son had pizza lovely I had fish and chips chips were cold and backdated fish was cold I was very disappointed tonight hope it doesn't happen again

El servicio del sábado por la noche fue la hospitalidad más atroz que he experimentado en Edimburgo. Era un día precioso el sábado, así que comprensiblemente había una larga fila en Civerinos. Esperé 1 hora para ser servido, y había escuchado a otros en la cola diciendo que una vez que te han servido es una espera de 15-20 minutos. Entendí que iba a haber un retraso, pero me pareció bien, ya que había disfrutado de la comida de Civerinos. Una vez servida esperé 40 minutos, con órdenes esporádicamente gritadas sin estructura ni orden real. Tuve suficiente y fui a preguntarle a la jovencita que daba las órdenes qué seguía esperando 92. Resulta que 92 estaba listo, y había estado esperando en el mostrador. Mi pizza estaba fría y las patatas fritas eran mediocres. Es decepcionante lo pobre que era este servicio, ya que Civerinos era generalmente mi visita, ya sea la tienda Portobello o uno en Edimburgo. Seguro decir que no volveré.

First time here . Opening day for new management and looking at these photos its like a totally different place. Food was lovely, Coffee superb. Didn't realise they had an undercover area oustide at front and a garden at rear so will be a regular stop for me when out with my Dog

No he tenido uno en mucho tiempo, desafortunadamente mi comida estaba contaminada con las uñas de los empleados y el vello facial. Esto me hizo enfermar físicamente y mentalmente así que tuve que tomarme una semana de descanso. Gracias 😡🤬

On the two occasions I've had food delivered from here, which was about six months ago and tonight, both times the food did not arrive at the pre-booked time, when called to chase up was told it was already on its way, both times this was a lie and another call an hour later reassured me it was now on its way. Both times I assumed they must have forgotten to do the pre orders and so we would have a late hot meal. Both times the meal was ice cold, not a hint of warmth on it!! Add to that all the missing items that were 'not worth bringing round' it has been the final nail in the coffin. I didn't leave a review the first time because we all have bad nights but it's now clear that they actually just are consistently awful and have the pattern of lying to the customers. A bit of advice for the shop, if the meal will be over an hour late just say that. kids and adults can cope better knowing our food will not be here for ages rather than hovering about waiting on it, getting more and more frustrated...and a bigger bit of advice, if you want customers to return make sure they get all their meals and that they are HOT or even remotely warm! Also should add the food is not good goodluck to anyone waiting for a delivery!

Flavour was great, delivered quickly but the chicken was raw and donner was cold :-( usually a good experience from Here

Not only was this late and cold but our payment didnt go through on uber so we offered to pay at door which was supposed to be £48 but apparently it went up to £51.30 when they arrived at door. We gave them £50 considering the fault was with them not us and they said they may come back for the £1.50!!! I told politely not to bother. I phoned them to say what happened and said they were not ripping us off like that and we wouldnt be back. You would think they would offer us something other than an apology but they have lost our custom. Never again! Extortionate prices and try to rip you off for more! Customers come first???

Weren’t able to place an order because the staff refused to take it. Waited in front of the place and tried to place an order in person and via phone. The advice of the manger was useless and not helpful at all. I would recommend to go anywhere but here

Tuvimos una pizza varias veces de este lugar y siempre supo muy bien. Especialmente calzone - personalmente pensar mejor pizza en la ciudad.

This place is very busy place most of the time specially during dinner time. I advise advance booking. The team led by Rohit is very professional, quick and attentive. Service is great as I felt I been treated as a King. My pasta bolognaise was delicious.

Decided to give pizza pad @ behind the wall a try. We were seated fairly quickly. Drink order taken and provided quickly, then food order taken quickly. Our order was for 2 pizzas and a side of fries. I did notice the menu was fairly limited for pizza choices, it would be nice to see this open up a bit more. Whilst our drinks and food orders were taken quickly the service itself was quite slow, we probably waited about 25 mins for the pizza to arrive. However it was fairly busy and to be fair it's quite new so probably still finding their feet a bit. On a plus note the pizza was made freshly and it was served very hot. The pizza was really nice, it had a lovely thin crispy base which we both love. The french fries never arrived at all, these are made in a different kitchen downstairs. We felt disappointed about this, it's a shame that the kitchen downstairs can't support the business upstairs a bit better than thay did when we were there. In the end we said to the staff to cancel them as we had finished our pizza and the fries still hadn't arrived - this was approx 45 mins after our order was taken. The staff themselves were very apologetic about it and ensured that we weren't charged for them. I'm of mixed views on the prices, whilst the basic pizzas are reasonably priced the extra toppings are a bit expensive side. The staff seemed really nice and took the time to talk to us which was really nice. I think with a bit of time to find their way this could be a fab place. I would absolutely recommend giving it a go.

Really kind and friendly staff, pizza was fresh and warmed up in the oven and they had a vegan option! Definitely will be back!

2 hrs waiting for a portion of kebab meat and a portion of chips, phoned back after 1 hour to be told it would be the next order to be "out for delivery" phoned back a 3rd time, 30 mins later, to be told it was just being "cooked" !! Who the feck takes 2hrs to shave off a portion of kebab meet and drop chips in a fryer..... Shah's Palace, a complete joke.
