The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in South West

We were passing this bar when a heavy shower descended, so we called in mainly to get out of the rain. We enjoyed our visit. The staff were pleasant and we had two glasses of prosecco in a pleasant environment.

We came to Rakuda for lunch, we arrived at 12:10pm and the menu said they served brunch until 12:30pm so we decided to order brunch. We looked at ordering 2 eggs any style because this was a simple dish for the chef to make in 20 minutes before brunch was over. We were told that they were not serving brunch any more, I questioned this as the menu clearly stated 12:30pm and the restaurant was not busy at all, there were only 3 other tables full, the server shrugged her shoulders and said we are not serving anymore. My partner ordered the carbonara instead. This was poor quality, the sauce was very watery and really didn’t taste great - especially for the price we paid. We are regular customers at Rakuda, especially for drinking but the food was very average and the service was poor. Not sure I’ll be coming back for food again.

Awful service. We booked a table for the six of us and we were all really looking forward to the meal, as we’ve always thought that it looks like a lovely restaurant. We were waiting for over half an hour before our drink orders were taken and another 30 minutes before they appeared. We ordered two charcuterie and cheese boards as starters between us and it took over 40 minutes for these to come out. When they came out, each board only had two tiny pieces of cheese which had clearly been broken off a slab a cheese rather than cut. At £18 each these were extremely disappointing. We were then waiting another 45 minutes for our mains and when they came out our starter plates etc had not even been cleared. We had been in the restaurant for almost 4 hours by the time we left as a result of the long wait for any service. The restaurant wasn’t exactly busy and the staff were standing around most of the time. We asked to take off the service charge at the end of the meal due to the poor experience and the waitress was rude and did not apologise for the poor service. Will not be returning.

Very expensive, 5 people, no starters, no side dishes, no deserts, no alcoholic drinks and the mac'n'cheese main meal was no bigger than a side dish. £100 !

The food from the kitchen was nice and the salad bar fine, however the ice cream factory wasn’t working and looking a bit sad with ice cream all over the sprinkle shakers, there was no ice in the drinks machine either. We enjoyed our meal but it so sad to see what covid-era online ordering and tight budgets are doing to family restaurants like these. They ask you to order online yourself, website decent enough but takes ages as we have to enter everything. You pay first and are asked if you want to leave a tip, well, not yet as we have not yet had any service.... and we didn’t really from then on, most of it was self-service (which the kids love) but our waitress was so overworked that she had no chance of clearing tables or being present to respond to what people needed - kept having to get up and go to front of house/delivery and ask. Again just completely not her fault, cutbacks mean there are just nowhere near enough staff out on the floor, everyone was hardworking and pleasant when we dealt with them, it’s just frustrating to have your dessert among dusty dishes from your main course. Pizza Hut is not a cheap night out and I’d so much rather pay a little more for it to be a proper restaurant again with someone taking your order and paying at the end.

We popped in for lunch on the spur of the moment and really enjoyed the food. Great vegan menu and 3 of us shared the vegan veggie pizza which was excellent. With the salad and refillable drinks it was plenty of food and great value...

Although, the pizza was delivered when it said it would, we were not happy with the delivery guy. He was rude and told us to move away from the doorstep. It does not cost anything to have manners and to be respectful.

After a long day decided to buy some pizzas, we were received with a smile even was late. Lovely food and get for us the best deal.

It was helpful service with a smile, the food arrived very quickly to the table and it was to the standard that we expect from the chain. Always enjoy the salad buffet. Plenty of onsite parking and a decent tip rounded it off.

When the food is hot it's amazing but TONIGHT. Well tonight we have had the worst experience. Cold, congealed pizza, stale chips and tasteless chicken. The customer service is disgusting. Truly disgusting. They are constantly rude and I will not be ordering from them again. Now the delivery driver is actually nice. Really pleasant but try phoning them up and ordering some food! They are so, so rude. The evening is pretty much ruined now because we was hoping to get a good meal from here but I for one am still hungry!. The food was inedible this time round. I even called them to tell them the problems and the man completely dismissed it. Like everything I had said was just hot air. Disgusting treatment.

This was the dryest food i have ever eaten all in separate containers and food spoilt. small amount of salad 1 very small pot of sauce worst kebab in swindon

The pizza I had last time for my family party was awesome. I liked the service they provided. Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great waitress is always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food. Absolutely amazing place to eat, we will be making a reservation for our next visit in.10 of 10 for every single aspect of this meal, and this is coming from people who know and love great food!
