Papa John's in Swindon

The pizza I had last time for my family party was awesome. I liked the service they provided. Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great waitress is always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food. Absolutely amazing place to eat, we will be making a reservation for our next visit in.10 of 10 for every single aspect of this meal, and this is coming from people who know and love great food!

Have used this place for a long time, and it can be a great takeaway. But recently it has taken a dive. 2 pizzas ordered by my girlfriend last night, as well as extra toppings and dips. Routinely now and last night, an order for a pizza with ×2 or ×3 amount of cheese as an example, on 1 of the 2 pizzas appears to have the exact same amount of cheese as the pizza with ×1/normal request for cheese. To make matters worse, other toppings were sparse, and it was over cooked with most cheese brown and crunchy. She also ordered extra pots of her favourite dip, but despite getting a few she mainly got ones she didn't want either because you cap the numbers people can have but don't display the info adequately, or you run out but prefer to give us products we diet want rather than refund us and not just tell us. Will start collecting at alternative branch from now on as they are more reliable /consistent. Apologies for the lack of pics, gave the dogs the of it. Will add some from the GF if I can edit this and there are some.

Papa's used to be my favourite chain Pizza company. Fresh bases, generous toppings. But it looks like the times are a changing - the bases are still good, but the toppings are extremely stingy. A sign of the times in this high inflation period I suppose. But Pizza isn't that cheap and other stores/take-aways are available.

9 moredon road shop DO NOT USE staff are rude they lie I can not believe the way they speak to customers the manager is just as bad I had a bad pizza and was told I could redeem it on my next order and wow I can’t believe the way I was spoke to they not only at first called be a liar until told them I had bank proof I ordered 2 pizzas from them , then they found order , then said I had already had a free pizza ha 9 months before I ordered the bad one which they then realised that couldn’t of happened, then spoke to manager and she finally admitted they were at fault but then told me couldn’t have free one as has to order it up to 10 days after I had first complained so there you go I then went to PIZZA HUT and spent £53.99 I will now NEVER USE THEM AGAIN which I a shame as they are a lovely pizza but customer care is terrible just take your money with no after care

Cold dry pizza with little if any cheese, avoid....called after pizza delivered requesting a refund and told 2-4 days. Won't be ordering from here again.

Over an hour wait on a ASAP and when it got to us after what seemed to be ages it was cold over cooked and unappealing and the first time I could pick up a slice of pizza that didn’t droop

Much better then other pizza I have tried from other places near by. Tasty,quick delivery. Always get the order right. Just check the sauses as ordered extra and never got them

Ordered early, delivery was 20 minutes late. Order was also incomplete. Restaurant refuse to refund in any circumstances. So, if you order, it’s late e and incomplete their sole offer is money off a future order - but of course I won’t be returning. Not good enough. Pizza average, might as well go to Domino’s who do refunds

Ordered a stuffed crust "The Works" and it did not disappoint. Excellent crust, superb flavours. One of the nicest pizzas we've had in a long time. Absolutely delicious.

Can it recommend more, incredibly professional during the lock down. The person who took my order was the most polite person I have ever experienced in a pizza place, the food came 15 mins earlier than stated and the man did a contactless delivery exactly as expected. Had many lovely pizzas from here...what happened tonight? Not sliced properly, tomato base not seasoned, veggie ones tasty watery and bland, bbq wings over sauced at thick almost chocolate sauce consistency. Gave the 2* for the garlic bread which was lovely. My family were very disappointed. Season your sauce, crisp up the base, slice it properly and add more cheese, pretty basic

The food always arrives very quickly and also the only pizza I have delivered that is still super hot when it arrives despite being 10 mins away. Website is a nuisance as can't customise toppings if ordering half and half but can obviously just call

I love Papa John's. I've ordered a lot and I've never had a bad or wrong order. Food is always delicious and on time.

Use papa john’s now for all our pizza home delivery pizzas, excellent pizzas, great choice , good value for money and prompt delivery given we are out in west Swindon

Having had plenty of satisfactory pizza from victoria hill swindon in the past we were really disappointed with our order today...dry chewy base and only just warm garlic sauce was more like butter...disgusting. used to be our favourite pizza place..not any more

Believe it or not, I have never had a take away pizza before. After finding the kitchen at the pub was closed we called here.I asked for a medium pizza and was told it was £6.99Hubby said he would have one too which should have been £2 extra for a stuffed crust and a portion of wedges. He asked if it was buy one get one free and the assistant said yes.The bill was over £19!To my reckoning that was one pizza at £8.99. One free and the price of a portion of wedges. When queried the price we were told the pizzas were more expensive.If it wasn't for the fact that we were ready to eat passers by then we would have just left.The pizza did taste nice

Papa johns in Swindon are great for service and location in Swindon. I love the "Greek" pizza, and the wife really likes the "piri piri" but unfortunately it's no longer on the menu. The staff are knowledgeable enough to help you build it as a create your own pizza.

Had heard so much about this place, was disappointed with the pizza I got. Gave it a second chance a bout a year later but was disappointed yet again. :-(

Sat night in after a busy week, thought I'd have a pizza, this was the worst pizza I've ever had, crust was raw and very thick even tho I ordered thin crust. See photo. Chicken tasted off.... very strong and sour flavour, yuck!!!Pork tasted odd, not like fresh bacon or ham again yuck!!!!What a waste of money as it all went in the bin, will not be using them again!!!

Placed an order with this store at 6.19pm on a Saturday night so that me and my 8 year old would have dinner before her bed time. Ordered a meal deal including a drink and was told it would be around 45 minutes. After an hour and twenty minutes it hadn't arrived so I called in and was told it was on its way and I would get a free pizza on my next order which was fine. The driver arrived about 15 minutes after that call (food was only just warm though) and forgot the drink but not a problem as it would be sent straight back out. I waited another hour and a half and still nothing so tried to call the shop. After ten attempts i finally got through and was told it was coming straight out. At 10.45pm I still hadn't received the drink and when the manager came to the phone I was told that I was unreasonable because I wanted a refund and she couldn't do one. Was told "I will speak to the franchise owner at some point and see what he says". Not good enough! It was only a bottle of drink but they were unable to complete my order inside of 4 hours. Extremely bad first impression as I'm new to the area and I will not use them again.

Good takeaway. Ready in 15 minutes for collection. Good value when using a discount code or one of the offers. Easy to change ingredients on a set pizza.

This was our 1st time of ordering offline for delivery. Friendly delivery driver and great pizza :-) very fresh and ate it all! We would be coming here again over our regulars now, thank you to all staff.

Mobile ordering is nice and easy and means I was able to order and grab on my way home without having to wait at all. You have to pull up on the road to collect so you have to be quick!

Great pizzas from here but the location isn't the easiest to collect from. It's on the end of a very short residential street so often all the on-street parking is taken. There is a parking area at the back of the takeaway but one car and it's full.

Enjoyed the cuisine here and made me think of the U.S. with the items on the menu. A very good place to bring a small group of friends or family to eat. The price was reasonable and the service was friendly and fast. Food quality and quantity was plenty good for most people eating here. I didn't hear or see anyone complaining so the food must have tasted good....Gary

Right I am a great believer that if you want good traditional pizza then...

I used to love ordering from papa Johns but when I found out their loyalty points expire I just stopped using them as I'm not wanting to eat pizza every week. The staff have always been helpful and served my pizza perfect every time but I''m just not happy with their loyalty system.

The staff are incredibly friendly; a real pleasure to deal with. Not sure if you can eat in or not; I always have it delivered.
