Pizza Express in Swindon

Very expensive, 5 people, no starters, no side dishes, no deserts, no alcoholic drinks and the mac'n'cheese main meal was no bigger than a side dish. £100 !

My family (of 11) including 5 grandchildren had a great evening in this restaurant. The children took advantage of the children’s menu and ate everything on their plates! The rest of us had a variety of pizzas and pasta dishes which were all superb. The attention of the waiter, Luca, was spot on, as he was more than helpful without intruding during our conversations. Definitely recommended.

Normally, PizzaExpress is a safe bet and we’ve been there many many times before to different branches. I took my 2 teenage children to the Swindon outlet restaurant on Saturday 24th June for a late lunch. It was well below average. My daughter’s prawn pasta was very dry and tasteless, the lettuce that seemed to form 65% of my Caesar salad was old and wilted as were the eggs, and my son’s pizza was also very dry. Service was apathetic (although polite) and we felt very much left to our own devices. For example when we asked for salt & pepper (as opposed to being offered) these were just plonked on the table, also no offer of Parmesan. Our drinks were just put in one place on the table not given to each individual, and it was just very languid and slow. I know PizzaExpress is not top end, but the food really was inedible and it was all rather disappointing. A waste of £80.

Arrived at 11.40 am on Sunday for early lunch before shopping . Lady on guard at the door told us to wait to be seated while she put some drinks through before she forgot ! We were absolutely freezing in the door way , it was like a fridge blowing above our heads , so we moved forward and she said you need to wait in the door way . She then showed us to our table , there were 3 other couples at tables . She gave us the menu then went to serve another table . We decided what we would have and twenty minutes later she hadn’t returned ! We decided to leave as our thought was we would be wasting our shopping time , I do t think we would of got out of there much before 2pm and they shut early on Sundays . I spoke to her on the way out , said that the service was slow and it was so cold in there and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away . Goodness knows what it’s like when they are busy !

Visited with our two small children. Staff were really friendly and accommodating and good with the children. Food was lovely as alway. We really like the kids menu!

Amazing food with no longer than a 15 minute wait time. Happy and smiley staff. Good value for your money.

Five of us booked for 1430 on a Sunday. Quick service and the waiter was very friendly and efficient. Food great as always.

A good atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Jamie was really good - he helped us very patiently to sort out the App, so we could enjoy the discounts available. Jamie was efficient and on hand whenever he was required.

Pizza express is always a good feed, the food is reliable and nice and the service is always good. We came at a busy time but it took a while to order, our water got forgotten and then one of our pizzas got forgotten. The staff were apologetic and gave some money off and it's not the end of the world, but maybe more staff are needed at peak times?

Had lunch on Saturday 17th June with my Husband and 2 children food was fantastic, hot, fresh, and full of flavour, kids meals were great value loads of choice and staff were happy and friendly 😋 would definitely eat here again.x

Great experience here. The restaurant was quiet but had a friendly atmosphere. Service was very diligent and professional - we were able to swap dips/toppings without issue. Our food was made fresh and came out of the kitchen promptly - the dough balls and fiorentina pizzas were delicious! I would recommend downloading the Pizza Express app as you can earn perks such as free sides. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a good-quality meal.

After all day in Swindon before go back to Bath Me and friend of mine went to have a lunch in pizza express at the outlet branch. To be honest welcoming and food was lovely. It was a shame I asked for the water cap and before I got up I saw the staff talking and laughing behind us, of course they said there is not possible to take my overleft water 💦 ok but after 15 years experience hospitality this people really need good training and a bit more humanity!!! First water cup stays at the table and second NEVER talk behind customers.

We were sitting close to wear the chef makes the pizza. He kept touching his phone, scratching his arm than touching the dough. We told the manager, she said she will speak to him but never went to him at all. Many items were unavailable which was frustrating as we were there for Mother’s Day.

We decided to have lunch on a Friday (not realising it was half term) and it was an hour wait for a table. We then opted for a takeaway which was ready in 10 mins the staff were very helpful. We ordered a pizza and pasta dish - pizza could have done with a bit more cheese on top but pasta was lovely can’t fault.

Wanted somewhere just to have lunch with a couple of friends. Very very cold in the restaurant, no heating whatsoever and felt like an icy draught continuously on me. Had pizza, lemonade and coffee and with the service charge cost me £27.00 Won’t be quick to return

This is the second time I have taken my nieces to eat here (2&5). We just love it! Both occasions our server has been Jonny and he is just the best. Very attentive, accommodating and patient with me and the children. I feel it’s great value with the children’s menu. Here looking forward to our next visit
