The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in City and Hunslet Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

Was really excited to try this place today as it's a famous brunch spot in Leeds and we live locally! We opted for the 20 minute wait with some hot coffees outside which is fair and to be expected on a busy Sunday morning, not a problem. The coffees were lovely but the food was very lukewarm when it arrived, vegan bacon overcooked and hard, and to top it off we popped our coats and scarves in the free corner booth so we had more space at the table. 10 minutes in and there was a bad leak through the ceiling so our new coats ended up drenched from dirty dishwater liquid! The staff were very kind and apologised but we were disappointed to not even be offered a small discount from our tab for the inconvenience and having to walk home in soggy clothes. We also had the water jug tipped off our table by one of the staff which further soaked my husband's hat. Accidental things but the fact that the staff didn't bother to mop up the dishwater liquid pooling in the corner until we asked them much later on was disappointing and we felt the whole experience was a real let down and that it would have been nice if a small or nominal discount had been at least offered at the end. All in all not a great first experience, we were a bit embarrassed as we had taken our friend who was in Leeds for a visit - I doubt we will be back!

The drinks were watered down!!! Very overpriced for what is it and there was no effort made by the servers. We were rushed to leave at the end as well, we were actually only given an hour and a half. I went for my birthday but It ruined the rest of the day from a bad overpriced experience. Wouldn’t be going back.

Food and service excellent, however the volume of the music was so loud that it was impossible to hear conversation at our own table. We asked 3 times for the volume to be turned down without any discernible result. The restaurant was largely empty on a Friday evening, which was surprising in view of the quality of the food, so we suspect that we are not the only ones to find the noise levels unacceptable.

Went with a large group. GF burger, chips and a diet coke was a bit pricey at £21! Service was excellent though, great staff, really smiley and welcomming Burger wasnt anything to write home about, very little for GF I am not the target audience, but very impressed at how well they got so many dishes out at once. Well done to everyone!
