I went for a drink with friends and had a look around. I didn't eat so I can't review it. Service was friendly and fast with a smile and an overall decent atmosphere. I'll definitely go again and try the food.

My husband and myself attended a wine tasting session on Saturday evening with a Wowcher voucher that we had been bought. We were booked in for 6.00 p.m. and we're walking out at 6.30 p.m. We were provided with 3 samples of wine each and nibbles. There was no talk about the wines no details provided. All I can say is that I am so glad my daughter didn't pay full price for the voucher. We were well and truly disappointed.

Should be called THE RUDE LOUNGE. Awful staff grumpy and rude, popped in for a drink around 4pm ordered a drink wasn’t told they would close at 5pm tried to order another drink at 4.35 and was told we are closing so 25 mins before wouldn’t serve really rude no apologies. don’t waste your time . Go to another bar like toast …

Went to my daughters birthday party and had a good time service was ok

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Other places charge £10-£11 for a glass of wine, here you can get two for that price so I don’t know where the people who claim Lazy Lounge is expensive normally drink. Comfy seats, cheap drinks - what’s not to like?

Had a few sherberts in here and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hours in here. Nicely done out in terms s of deco and a friendly atmosphere. Bar staff all seemed friendly and helpful. Overall a worthwhile place to visit in what seems to be an upcoming area in Leeds City centre.

This is a fabulous place for pre-dinner drinks and cocktails, all at a very reasonable price. This is a go to place to start the evening in Leeds.

What a fab place. Came here because I was gifted vouchers for a few gin boards but we stayed for a good 5-hour shift. The spirit selection is fab. I love the Gin lucky dip (£5.50 for a mystery g+t) - great idea! I think we inhaled a good 8-10 gins from the lucky dip on top of our tasting boards! Very reasonably priced and great service! Highly recommend!

Absolutely fabulous experience at the Wine Tasting event. So informative without being boring & full measures. Don't be put off by the exterior of the building maintenance at the moment, as you'll be entertained by Tom & his stories along with his knowledge. If you know nothing about wine , you'll learn lots about wine, equally, if you know a little bit about wine you'll learn something. Thanks Lazy Lounge 😊

Came here for a last drink on a Saturday night, wasn't too loud which was a welcome change. They had card games and Jenga which was a nice addition.

Didn't get any food but drinks are good and they have a good value offer between 4 and 8 on a weekday!

Visited on a Friday afternoon to sample the wine flight and Nibbles. The wines were nice but the nibbles were very poor and we had to find a place to eat afterwards. The bar was lovely though and would go again when it is busier.

P!ss poor beer selection but everything else is good.

Just had a great evening here, bar staff are so friendly and approachable. Bar and tables were nice and clean. The cocktail menu was really good and great deals on drinks. Highly recommend this place and the music was really good too!

Come here for amazing drinks and cocktails! I went to Las Iguanas the other week for cocktails and got served watery, sugar drinks -complete rip off!.... For the SAME price - went to Lazy Lounge today and not only got cocktails WORTH the money (in alcohol content), but were super tasty, bespoke and not overly syrupy and sugary. What I love about Lazy Lounge is they put a lot of thought and love into their cocktails which always suit the season. It's a bit hidden away behind scaffolding at the moment but is still open and makes the best drinks - something for everyone! Whether that be wine, gin, whisky or cocktails. I believe they plan to bring food back to the place later this year hence why I was not able to give 5* for food - they simply haven't served food here for a year or 2 (not sure why Google is still asking for food ratings and not drinks). They do happy hour also for anyone wanting a good deal. Service is always great also! Oh and the cherry on the cake - dog friendly! The amount of times I've finished work and wanted to bring my dog for a drink so they're not on their own for even longer.

Came to Lazy Lounge for a wine tasting experience and it was first class! A very knowledgeable host and lots of very nice wine. A very nice bar which is sadly hidden behind scaffolding at the moment but it's a little gem which you should visit 😊

Went with my husband for the Gin & Whisky tasting boards, on a Groupon voucher yesterday! It was excellent, very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff. We really enjoyed the experience & would certainly recommend.

Nice spot. Been a few times but popped in recently for a pint to kill some time. Slightly dim lighting which is pleasant, a good range of seats and styles, range of customers.

We went last night for the wine tasting, it was absolutely fabulous. Tom, owner/wine tasting host was very entertaining and incredibly knowledgeable re the history of wine. It was a real eye opener. Thank you again Tom, we will be back 👍

We went for wine tasting on Valentines night and were impressed by the knowledge, passion and humour of the owner. It says tasting but we were given full glasses of wine and charcuterie board to share. A bargain at the price being charged. Also, great music!

It is soooo expensive really for what it is. Crowded nevertheless, so everyone else clearly thinks it is great. Perhaps it is just convenient. Won't go back again until the next works do.

We enjoy visiting This Bar and have alway found the staff to be friendly and helpful . However this was not the case on Saturday the 25th March. My husband had ordered the Gin sharing Boards from-a voucher . When the sharing board arrived at the table it was for 1 Person when he asked where the other board was she said he hadn’t ordered two . The voucher was for two has he explained when when redeeming the voucher. Her attitude was not one we have experienced from lazy lounge staff before. She persisted in saying he should have said two boards. Is that what the voucher is two sharing Gin boards? Also she proceeded to say “we are stopping serving at 4.30 the time was 4pm. We had already seen the notice about the private party at 5pm . Which is the reason why we used the voucher early so we could leave promptly before this time. Very bad attitude of the girl. If she happens to see this review . She knows who she is and she needs to change her attitude the customer is always right. I work in hospitality myself. So in this instance the customer was actually right .

Gin tasting session today was fantastic. Really interesting to understand the history of gin and more importantly to taste multiple varieties. We left more than little tiddley. Can highly recommend.

Brilliant wine tasting. My friend purchased for my 40th Birthday. Just got round to redeeming it. Host was very knowledgeable and entertaining . Wine samples were very generous. Met some lovely like minded people. I would highly recommend .Even if you come here for just a wine you will get the best .

Great little bar just down from the train station. Excellent happy hour offers available and they offer tasting sessions as well.

Emailed Saturday morning to book a groupon wine tasting deal (still being sold). No reply so rang Tuesday afternoon. Girl refused to take a message, said she’d prompt the manager to read his emails, she knew he hadn’t. Wednesday still no reply. We were wanting to go today. Now asked groupon for a refund. Unprofessional. Such a shame, nice place.

A friend and I came for the wine and gin taster boards. The wine and gin drinks were very good quality, but the nibbles were almost non existent! As we were hungry we asked for the food menu to be told they don’t sell food any more, even though there are lots of food pictures still on their website! It is beautiful inside and such a shame about this.

I have good memories of this place but on a recent visit they said they had stopped serving food since the pandemic. I used to meet friends here for an evening meal and I think it works less well as just a drinks place. But still it was a good atmosphere.

A very chilled relaxed bar , we called in and ended up staying the whole night . Really great staff, friendly and so helpful we got a gin and whiskey board and just chilled and played a game of Jenga. Not what we usually do On on. Saturday but really enjoyed it .

Did the gin tasting, very informative but could do with a couple of breaks between drinks to chat with the people you're with. We were told we could stay until the area was needed about 2 hours after but they cleared unfinished food and drinks from the table and hurried us out to set up, a shame to end our treat afternoon that way.

Got one of the wine & one of the whiskey tasting platters. The snacks were basic but nice (we went after a meal & a bite of each was enough). The whiskeys were surprisingly good given the price; smooth without any burn. The wines were also nice enough; I don't drink a lot of wine but it was nice to try a few different tastes. We sat outside & people watched a bit. Overall really nice & the little interaction we had with staff was positive. We had gone the day before for a quick drink & they have a few games out too, which was a bit of fun.

Went to the Lazy Lounge Leeds for a wine gathering for my birthday. What a fantastic day we had and will definitely be doing it again. The wine and food were excellent. Really good value for money. Staff we fantastic and looked after us for the period we were there. Fantastic atmosphere. Cannot stress enough how much a visit is a must.

Possibly the find of the weekend. Staying in the Novotel across the road we popped into Lazy Lounge for the hour before closing. Sumptuous decor, a VAST array of spirits to choose from, and a great atmosphere. Even the background music (80s/90s US indie rock??) was on point 😄. Loved this place.

This bar is where you go if you want to escape all the busy bars in Leeds and you need a joint to chillax. This place is also perfect for a date!

Busy, lively and vibrant. A great place to hang out after work. Tried the whisky tasting board. It was great! Well thought out matching the flavours of the whisky to food, very contrasting flavours of whisky in the selection of three. Japanese, Irish and scotch. Enjoyed it. Personal tip of you to try it... Go right to left rather than left to right on the board

Excellent little bar and so reasonably priced

The second leg of our gin night run out experience. Nice place and a vibing atmosphere with a good selection of gin, but you can have the whole experience only on specific days and hours—Saturdays at 1pm and Mondays at 18:30. I will give them for sure a second try.

I really like this bar and so took my mum for the gin tasting afternoon for her birthday. The set up was lovely with a little afternoon tea and great gins to taste (good measures too). The host was lovely but talked pretty much non-stop for 2.5 hours straight with no breaks. Some interesting information about the history of gin but he talked so fast through it it was hard to digest it. Plus he had to shout to the group over the punters as the bar filled up over the course of the afternoon. Not what expected, a little too serious and left feeling exhausted.

Great atmosphere, subpar staff. Dismissive, cold and unapologetically slow, they have no shame in leaving you at the bar for over 10 minutes to serve a group that came after you. Would not recommend

Such a wonderful gin gathering experience! We couldn’t have asked for more from the lazy lounge - 6 gins and an incredible food platter of cakes, sandwiches and scones! It should be advertised more as people are really missing out on such a treat - everyone in our party absolutely loved this! Thanks to Imogen for looking after us!

Ordered one of their gin spritzers - a single measure of gin in a huge balloon glass topped to the brim with soda water (approx 500ml) and ice. Guess what? It only tasted of soda water! For a place that claims to be a gin bar/gin focused I'm not convinced they've ever actually drunk gin... Very limited beer choices for my partner, tired furniture and no menus out on tables. We didn't even finish our drinks and left to find somewhere else, Leeds has so many better options.

Very lovely decor. Odd that they only serve wine in medium size (no large) and the beer had unfortunately turned slightly vinegary. I'm sure it's capable of much more than our experience.

Our gin tasting was cancelled which we weren't aware of! However, our booking was handled exceptionally well so was not a problem at all. Staff great. Clean well stocked friendly bar. We will return!

We arrived to finally redeem our gift of a gin tasting voucher to be told , most apologeticly, that the barman who does them was in hospital. They had tried to contact all customers and were mortified we had t been informed. We were offered a refund or a rebooking and by way of apology an additional voucher for the equivalent value of the tasting in free drinks ( £60)We stayed for a couple of delicious ( free) gins and are now looking forward to returning for our tasting and trying the food with our extra voucher. Simply excellent customer service .
