Ellie was incredibly attentive! They ensured our drinks were flowing and we were happy at all times. I would also like to say, they made our day. 10/10 service and we felt very looked after

Wouldn't let me in with my dog at 19:15. Said it was late and claimed the bar was busy but it clearly wasn't. Was with friends showing how nice Leeds was but they ruined the vibes. Supposed to be dog friendly. Had no problems in other places and currently sitting in a bar a few doors up that is just as 'busy' Such a shame - bad door man.

Had a table booked for 3.30, arrived early and was seated straight away which was good, drinks ordered and delivered more or less immediately, we ordered food at 3.20, after quite a long wait we were told there was a delay and had our first round of drinks deducted from the final bill. Anyway after waiting an hour and 20 mins we cancelled our order and walked away dissatisfied, although our drinks bill was written off for us due to our dissatisfaction. Very disappointed as we have always had very positive experiences in here. Felt sorry for the poor girl waiting on table who had to keep coming to apologise.

I came here recently on a night out. The bar was great, especially the band and dancers who were excellent. Bar staff were incredibly slow to serve though. So I just enjoyed a dance until the band finished. If they took less than 20 minutes to get me a bottle of larger than I'd have bought more drinks. Would go back though for sure.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. The grange loaded beef nachos to share is a large portion. This is a good thing. The Chorizo cheese burger was good. This place is very popular on Saturday night. Would visit again.

What has happened to one of my favourite venues in Leeds!! Sunday 2nd March Was going to purchase the premium bottomless brunch for 2. In the 15 mins we lasted in there, dogs barking, running around and pooing on the floor x 3. One in the restaurant part where we would have been eating. Totally appalling. Staff didnt seem too concerned. Obviously you only want customers with dogs. It made me feel ill. You expect this in a park but NOT where food is been eaten Look foward to your response. One very unhappy customer

Chaos.... Went here for a drink with my wife, I've been here before and it was great. Again the service was great but what has happened to the place. It was Doggie disco day today, fair enough, but we couldn't even here the bar staff for the dogs barking, on top of this we witnessed three dogs poo in the bar, one of them next to a table in the restaurant section where somebody was eating. The owner picked it up, but nobody mopped nor cleaned the residue up. Dogs were running about, non on leads, we also saw numerous people vaping heavily on industrial sized capes. The bar staff and manager were all witness to this, but didn't seem to care. We won't be visiting here again soon, I'll be interested to see what feedback I get, doggy disco at the risk of turning customers away can't be a great business decision surely.

The food takes too long to arrive and when it does it's barely warm. Perhaps my age is starting to show but I struggled to hear my partner who was right next to me. One thing I would say the tacos were amazing

Went to comedy club 22nd Feb, There was 3 acts and a compare, the compare was good as was the final act, however the first 2 acts were very poor so much so that during the 2nd act some of the audience started leaving. Sadly and probably one of the worst factors was the noise and music from the bar downstairs which was so loud it actually made it very difficult to hear the acts. There was an interlude in between each act to go to the bar for drinks however service was slow and staff refused to serve customers once the acts came on. Overall I was very disappointed and will not be going back.

Visited for afternoon tea with cocktails with my mum. It’s very relaxed and has a laid back vibe with great Cuban tunes. Great cocktail menu and excellent cocktails. Could have sat there all day. So much choice and well made. Food was excellent. Great cheesecake and loved the little tart. Very different afternoon tea, beats scones and poncy cucumber sandwiches. The best thing was the staff. Wonderful ladies who stopped to chat, provided a great service, very friendly and made it very special. We will defo be back!!!

13 of us ate there Friday 31st jan 25 . This was the worst experience of eating I've ever know absolutely dreadful 😫

We came here as a work group for our delayed Xmas party and the communication from enquiry to finish was outstanding. They were very informative and kept us up to date with any changes and were very efficient with dealing with the allergies of the party and catering for them. The night itself was a mixed buffet and was amazing food and enough for everyone with some great flavours and range of food. The cocktails were very flavoursome and a good range to choose from. Service was outstanding from our waitress and the bar server and very friendly and happy and even helped us with advice on where was best to go after.

6 pound entry was a shock when the one in Mcr is free for entry. Definitely prefer the Mcr revolution de cuba. Vibe is better for sure.

What a shambles, saw the host as we walked was told to go to the bar. Sat down at a reserved table, asked if it was ok, but told we could have it for 15 minutes. Found another table, asked if it was ok to have something to eat, she checked & it was fine. Sat down then to be told rudely told "that it was the restaurant only"& if we could go upstairs. I explained that we were getting some food & we had checked with another member of staff. Then she told me the Manager told her to ask. We got our own menus & was ready to order before the Manager told us abruptly that we could have the table until 5.30pm, then accused us of walking straight in!!. I corrected her & explained that we had spoken to 3 different people & checked that the table was free, I explained thst the manner of the previous person was rude as she was and told her we'll go, which she replied " thats fine". My 13 y/o was upset by the whole situation. Avoid !!!. The customer service is a joke!!. If I could award no stars I would, but in order to post the review I have to award a star!

We arrived for six to celebrate my birthday with a meal, drinks and an evening of comedy. Our waitress (who was really attentive and apologetic) came back a short while after we ordered with complimentary nachos and dip and told us the kitchen was very busy and our food would take a bit longer than normal. We eventually got our food at 7.40!! Obviously we had to rush as the comedy show started at 8.00. Sadly, the chicken and chorizo paella I ordered was literally the worst food I'd been served in a restaurant - the chicken and chorizo were burnt black, and the rice was rock hard/uncooked. It was taken off of the bill without question, and we were offered a complimentary round of drinks. The waitress was excellent and did everything possible to make sure we were happy under the circumstances. The comedy night was highly entertaining, and we will come back, but we won't be eating again.

After spending time in Leeds visiting a few different bars The Cuba de Revolution bar should not be able to state a been cocktail bar ,my dog could of done a better job at making cocktails and will not be ever visiting again and should be credited back my charge. We booked and paid for tickets for new year’s eve. We entered for a drink asking for a pawn star martini for my wife and a dark and stormy which is a simple cocktail to make by any bar person . To my disbelief the two girls behind the bar said sorry we don’t know how to make that??? What i said so had to choose another drink which ended up been a drought beer. I took my wife’s pawn star to the table and she had a sip and said sorry i can’t drink that, bemused i tried it and it was awful tasted of what could only only state at salty wine dishwasher. I took back to the bar and told them and they was not going to do anything about it in exchange until a man next to me said shall i try? and he also said was awful and spat out, after that they offered me an other but then said they didn’t know how to make a pawn star ??????? my wife had a small coke then we both left. I don’t write reviews but felt i had to on trip advisor as totally ruined my night we paid for tickets we then had to find alternate place to bring in the new year going around leeds in the rain turned away at various functions as was ticket only. Worst cocktail bar i’ve been to stay away!!!

A group of 13 and we asked for food menus. A friendly waiter explained the special offer on and highlighted the menu items only to be told at the till ‘the offers aren’t on today’ (New Years Eve). That got sorted and we ordered. All but two meals came out with the last two coming out after the rest of us had finished ours. The manager on duty offered a free drink to the two affected. We then went to get cocktails on their 2 for 12 promotion. One of our party was charged £12 another £20 as the offer wasn’t on today and they ‘made a mistake’. I was also told ‘it’s in the terms and conditions that they can stop doing the offer’. No terms and conditions were on the menu!!! Wouldn’t recommend and certainly not returning! Be careful on what you’re charged as it appears that it depends on the staff member serving you!

Don't go to RDC if there is no queue. If that isn't one this means security will let kids to get in and disturb others without respecting the seats&tables people are using. It is also allowed to "vape" indoors. Avoid not popular. Very disappointed this time. A true kindergatten

Went to out last night for Xmas party was drinking Madrid all night the last drink I had was in the revolution de Cuba and if the drink I had was Madrid it had more water than beer it was that bad we left it and walked out so come on it’s expensive enough with out doing this Sorry never again

Great time at bottomless brunch!

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience for us. We had booked in advance, table was available on time and our food order taken timely. Unfortunately my food order was taken incorrectly. What arrived was a vegan meal and not a vegetarian meal. This meant items were missing such as sour cream and cheese. When I challenged this I was fobbed off saying it was vegetarian! Yes I understand its vegetarian, its vegan! 🤦🏽‍♀️

We hosted our work Xmas party at this venue and it was an absolutely fabulous day/evening. We had 85 staff at our party and Hannah, Amy and the team were fantastic from start to finish and everything in between. They sorted our drinks wristbands/arrival drinks and we had the Mostrador menu (which was delicious). I would 100% recommend this venue for any party or night out. We will definitely be back :-)

There’s an employee that I think goes by the name ‘Katie May’ She needs protecting at all costs, she was super amazing with my and my party of 4, she looked after us on our night out and ensured we all were having a great time. She amazing and deserves recognition for this!

Came here for a bottomless brunch with my friends for Christmas. It was amazing. The service was great, so was the food and drinks. Our sever Ellie was incredible and checked in on us constantly to make sure we were okay. Will definitely be coming back here. 10/10 experience.

4 of us went in here at 2pm Saturday loads of empty tables which we couldn't sit at because the table were all booked so had to sit on a high table left at 4.30pm and guess what tables that they said were booked were still empty not happy.

Went there for a quick meal on a Monday night and was honestly blown away by how nice the steak was. Staff was also very nice and accommodating as well.

Fantastic evening here for a bottomless brunch. Hattie was our sever, she was brilliant, honestly couldn't have been more accommodating. Best bottomless brunch in Leeds, and honestly I've done them all. Food was good for a bottomless brunch as it is usually a bit drab, but the drinks came thick and fast despite it being busy. Hats off to our Hattie !!

We did a cocktail making class which was so much fun and Rosie was so friendly and made are experience amazing. Would 100% reccomend

Went for a bite to eat and a drink before a gig. Had 5 tapas and a couple of cocktails. Food and drink fantastic, service was great and atmosphere buzzing.

A long time friend of mine came to Leeds for a visit, so we went to this restaurant for an evening meal. The place is absolutely gorgeous inside, and the staff are so genuinely friendly and nice. The food was phenomenal, and if you want dessert you HAVE to try their cheesecake. It was the most delicious cheesecake I've ever had in my life. Neither myself or my friend drink, so I can't comment on the cocktails, but observing other people ordering them, they looked generous in size and very appealing. The place was clean, the music was varied and wonderful (and not too loud so you can talk without having to shout) and it's not at all overpriced. The toilet facilities are great, very roomy and clean. The waitress that served us also asked if we had any allergies, so they are clearly very conscious about making sure people get what they need. I want to go back and try the bottomless brunch at some point, would absolutely recommend.

We came for a meal for my wifes birthday.We ordered drinks no issue at all then ordered our food 2 starters....2 mains...45 minutes later...no food. We asked the lady who served us where was our food. Total confusion.....the whole meal was in the dummy waiter clap cold. My wife was in a mess so we told the lady we were leaving and wud not return.All i can say ive sent this to yorkshire post so i hope they tell people how bad your service is. Our perfect weekend was SPOILT

I wanted to write this email earlier today but i had a lot of guests still visiting today for my birthday so i am only writing now. I wanted to raise a few issues i faced with my booking because unfortunately i had higher expectations from this venue especially that this is the 2nd time we celebrated a birthday here, we had my husband’s 34th birthday with yourselves in 2023 January and apart from that we go out frequently for random nights to Revolution de Cuba. 1st issue was that the booking was for 21.45pm confirmed on the reservation email but when the arrived there at 21.42 there was nothing ready! Security wasn’t aware they almost made us pay extra £6/ head and of person for entrance. 2nd issue they only prepared us a table for 8 people not 15 so i had to run around and find a manager to pull 2 extra tables next to ours and clean it . 3rd the waiters throw all the pre order drinks on the table at fast speed, everything was all over the place , they put all the drinks out at the same time, the ice melted in the buckets, glasses got dirty from spillage drinks got worm overnight . 4th we spent an extra £185 myself and another £150 my guests so overall £800 was paid for the table and this was 10pm-2.30pm in just 4.5 hours where i work myself usually earn this money over 7 days straight i would have appreciated the birthday feeling a little more 5th waiters always tried to take empty glasses clean the table while we have been still using them and again i had to keep asking for clean new glasses. Shouldn’t be me in high heels all dressed up nicely running around all night from the beginning to the end to get things sorted 6th the table we had was in the middle right on side so everyone was crossing over, sitting down, taking drinks so i also had to play the security/ bodyguard together with my guests so keep asking people to move/ to not take anything to make sure our belongings are safe we always had to guard he table get somebody from my guests to sit there while we are dancing and then change the guard again which wasn’t convenient at all 7th i received gift a bottle of prosseco which i had to leave at security entrance and remember to take it with me home at the end of the party which again after paying £800 I don’t think I needed a £10 bottle of Prosecco to be opened which was a gift but atleast the security guy short guy and bald didn’t remember his name he was very kind and looked after it in safe place for me 8th i got a surprise cake which i was not aware of i will get( my friend bought plastic plates and forks so we could enjoy a slice ) this also wasn’t allowed although i am sure that day time you are operating as a restaurant so couldn’t understand why a slice of cake would have caused an issue but at-least the one positive thing was that the manager guy put it into a fridge for me until the end of the night . But none of my guests could have any and let me say that cake cost £120 so wasn’t a cheap shop cake it was made as special order for me as a gift which again i was not expecting as it was a surprise ! But on other hand one of the waiters girl brought me a little sparkling mini firework for the cake which was a great surprise We did receive the 2 complementary bottles of Prosecco from you but taking in consideration all the above i feel like overall that was only enough to cover the change of table being moved from upstairs to downstairs. All the other issues mentioned above cannot be covered with Prosecco in my eyes I’m afraid. I also asked for you at the bar but i was told you are not working because i remember how kind you have been over the past few weeks talking to me via email. Its up to you and the management of the venue how seriously you take my feedback and if you will do anything about this because after all i am just a basic random customer that wanted an unforgettable night for my 30th birthday which ended up not being the best experience at all.

It was electric inside. It was a bit expensive, though. The upstairs was very quiet compared to downstairs, where all the people gathered. They have good cheer leaders, so nobody will be bored. Overall, it was a good place for the night out.

What a shame, was really looking forward to coming here for brunch but it was a disappointment. Firstly, as a brunch I'm aware I'm paying for mostly the drinks in the price, but sadly it took almost 30 mins for our first drinks and we only had 3 in our hour and half there. However the worst part was the food When we finally got our meal, all 4 of my parties plates were cold, so cold that by the time they took away those meals my ice cream on my french toast hadn't even began to melt! We spoke to one of the managers who agreed to refire our meal which we were happy with but then the next meals were lukewarm at best, by this time we were hungry however. They did offer us an extra half an hour on our table for the initial mistake however we did not take this up after my friend found a bone in her new quesadilla! My meal was also smaller the second time around and the first time there had barely been anything on the plate, it isn't made clear on the brunch menu that the french toast is a smaller portion and may not be appropriate for a full meal. Credit to the 2nd manager who listened to our concerns when we brought this up and agreed this wasn't the service they normally deliver and comped our meal. The 2nd star is for her service purely. They did say they would email me for comment after the meal but I have yet to receive this 5 days later. Overall, I was severely disappointed after so many people had told me how good this place was. Unfortunately I would be cautious about going again

New find for us and just popping in for a late afternoon drink. Great chilled atmosphere, nice staff and good prices. Very spacious.

We had booked a bottomless brunch for a work friends get together. I’ve never had a bottomless brunch before (unlike the the others) so was really looking forward to it. We were shown to our table and presented with Prosecco… good start. Unfortunately it went down hill from there. In short… drinks were slow to come and refreshed, all four meals were cold , so sent back. The replacements were warmer, but not hot. One person chicken quesadilla had a large piece of bone in it! Several occupants of other tables were extremely drunk/ rowdy ( I appreciate the unlimited drinks they must have been served would have been at play, but it was 3:30pm, not 11pm in a night club!) Service was slow (maybe staff overwhelmed??). We did complain…& a manager did then look into the issues we had. To their credit they accepted the poor experience and waived the bill (hence a 2 star review, not 1). If we had had to pay, it would have been poor value for the money. It may have just been a off day for the place, but I don’t think another visit will be on the cards.

Usually enjoy my nights here but wasn't keen on the music last time and it's played so loud you can hardly hear the person next to you.

Brilliant big bar , we visited Leeds for some mid afternoon drinks & with not really knowing where we were going we just went where it looked reasonably busy with a good vibe so this one of the places we visited.
