Fantastic service from Julia! Delicious food and drinks, an amazing experience.

Booked in for a Tapas for 3 people and 2 cocktails, but the offer is very misleading. I would have expected to get a cocktail for at least all of the guests booked in and I would have expected better sized portions for 3 people. What we got was the same as 2 people or even 1 person. Quite disappointed and won't be looking to ho back. Very loud, which you expect later at night. Not early evening when you are trying to have a meal. Service was okay, but could have been better.

Excellent cocktails and tapas, served by Yaz as our waitress and another lovely lady who welcomed us in.

We booked the cocktail making class for my daughters Hen party, this was fantastic and the young lady that was our teacher was lovely. We then had a pre booked meal downstairs, then back upstairs to the nightclub, we had a fabulous time. I would recommend the cocktail class to anyone in a party😍

We had a table booked for 5.15 last Friday before a trip to the Arena. We thought we would have plenty of time, but this wasn’t the case as the service was so slow. We were seated near the door and people were constantly coming in and out and leaving the door open, so we were rather cold. We got up and closed it ourselves several times. We ordered nachos to share which took ages to arrive, they tasted nice but were on the cold side. We also took advantage of the 2 for £10.00 cocktails, little did we know that we couldn’t use this offer alongside the Meerkat offer otherwise I don’t think we would have bothered. So, when our bill came and we queried this we were told that we couldn’t use the cocktail offer with the other offer so we ended up paying £11 each for a cocktail! We queried this with the waitress, and she was a bit clueless when we said it didn’t mention anywhere that we couldn’t do the cocktail offer with another offer. My partner had a burger which he said was nice and I had chicken enchiladas and fries. Again, the chicken was on the cool side and the fries were cold. I returned the fries and by the time the replacements had arrived, I had almost finished my main course. We asked for mayo which arrived with my second portion of fries with the waitress saying sorry she had forgotten it. It wasn’t even busy so they can’t blame that on the extremely slow service.

Not our style. Food was bland. No Flavor. Ordered the Tapas chicken, chorizo, shrimp and street corn. Toast came out burnt. Service was okay

Palace is ok, but staff needs to be retrained, not sure why they hiding their names once asked, probably they know that they wrong. Red hair waiters brought wrong drink to what I ordered and asked for double payment to change it, and refused to give her name. It took 10 minutes to get the Managers name, not sure what's the purpose of hiding names if you don't feel you are in the wrong. It's unfortunate that nice place cam be ruined by underpriced rude staff. Message to rhe manager Marion please get more training to your staff.

I want to share my disappointment, I am Ukrainian and English it is not my mother tongue . Last night me and my friends decided visit the club for a drink after a wonderful dinner, went to the bar order cocktails but what surprised me I was refused, i understand maybe barmen didn’t understand me because I am Ukrainian and my accent hard to understand special on a louder place but it is not making me drunk person I asked to call the administrator some girl appears and her attitude was definitely not about satisfaction or giving a good care about guests in club. I explained for her in detail and you know what was her replied, you were drunk it was a shock for me , on a dinner time we drank 3 cocktails and that's all, but she claimed I'm drunk, it was so disappointing this place ruined our night all it was about just to dance and drink a couple more cocktails, but it ended with terrible mood, I have not had such experience in my whole life

When arrived for a pre booked table, we were given one swiftly. We then didn’t have any service so husband had to go to bar for drinks, not really a massive problem. Waitress was run off her feet! Definitely could of done with another couple of staff as it was very busy. We then ordered a starter and two mains, all came. When we finished we waited a good while for the waitress to come, we then ordered two more drinks and a dessert. After 20 mins of waiting again, a senior member of staff approached us and asked if everything was ok, I did say we had been waiting for a dessert and two drinks. When I said if they were going to be much longer she said ‘Yes they will be, we have a private party upstairs!’ If you are not able to provide a service for other customers then don’t. I did ask for the bill to be told…we haven’t charged you for the desert?!? We didn’t have it!!!! We had traveled from Newcastle to Leeds for a special weekend away, mainly to use this restaurant after having a great experience at the Harrogate and Newcastle branches. Unfortunately we won’t be using this chain again.

We chose Revolution de Cuba for a bottomless brunch experience, and from the moment we arrived, Emma warmly greeted us and ensured we were comfortably seated while getting us started with some mimosa’s. Throughout our meal, both Emma and Jasmine provided exceptional service, exhibiting both warmth and attentiveness. Our visit to this brunch spot exceeded our expectations, and we will be returning. Many thanks for a delightful experience!

As an attendee to a friends 47th birthday party brunch.. Booked premium, so that's £42.50 which gives you a better selection of drinks, apparently.. In my experience, the service was shocking, and the venue wasn't fully booked. The Strawberry daiquiri resembled a red slush, which was un suckable, disgusting. AnaCuban too much ice, top it off Spicy chicken burger, and beef burger reminded me of student food.. the toasted brioche was soo tough it disintegrated when bitten to. So after a few complaints, the manager came over to appease us. Changed the food to quesidas these arrived cold, as did the chips. which were additional cost. End of the experience, downgraded to basic £33.00 but just not good enough

Booked a table to eat and make the most of the 50% off voucher. Food was ok but not as good as when I have eaten there previously. Some things were unavailable on the tapas menu and our order seemed lukewarm if not a but on the cold side. The food seemed heavily salted - patatas bravas in particular which we couldn't finish. My husband adds a lot of salt to his food so to say that he found it too much says a lot! Would have been disappointed if we had paid full price. Would score a 3 for the food but given 4 stars as the cocktails were delicious, good atmosphere and the venue itself is always a favourite with us. Certainly will be back for drinks and the live band, but will likely give the food a miss.

Great lunchtime deal, lovely friendly staff, very efficient and attentive. The food was delicious and it's well worth a trip if you're in town looking for a bite to eat at lunchtime. I've never been in the evening but the foods great and so is the atmosphere.

As fellow hospitality staff, we took advantage on the super cheap set menu and double your bar tab. Was really impressed that as we usually have awards at our own restaurant and us having a big booking on the same night they offered to set everything up upstairs with a projector and everything the effort the staff went to to make sure we have a great evening even though everything was super cheap was awesome. I’m really sorry but because I have slept I can’t remember the girl that looked after us us but was something like Anne Marie if I ask my team they would 100% know her name as she made sure we were looked after every step of the way. Team members like her is why I love the hospitality industry. Tbh only came because of the double your bar tab but recommended you to everyone since from our awesome experience thank you so much guys xx

The food was good, and the venue is lovely. The only downside was the service, which wasn't the friendliest. However, their attitude improved after we brought it to their attention.

A fantastic, family friendly meal out with outstanding staff. We booked for a Friday evening and were apprehensive that it wouldn't be suitable with a young child.... But we had nothing to worry about! We were welcomed by warm, friendly staff who immediately put us at ease and brought a child's menu and colouring. We were there early evening and staff helped us select drinks so we benefited from the offers. They had no issue with us taking advantage of the 2for£10 cocktails throughout our meal and brought the drinks swiftly. Upon seeing our child's face light up when our cocktails arrived, the wonderful staff decided to make an identical, child friendly version just to be kind. (This was very well received with a huge smile when brought to the table!) The food was lovely and the children's menu is exceptional value. The child's juice arrived in a fun pineapple glass too! Staff also provided Hawaiian Leis for us to wear to get into the party spirit. Dining was at the end of the building separated from those arriving for Friday night drinks but close enough to take in the atmosphere and enjoy the live music. If you are looking for a wonderful evening out as a family, don't hesitate to book! We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our meal so special. 😊🇨🇺🍹🪇

Went here for the bottomless brunch (premium) 42.50 pp. Worth the price, food good, drinks good, people amazing. Manager Julia set the tone for outstanding service and it did not waver. Definitely coming back when in Leeds again. Thank you to the entire staff. Viva la revolución!

Been to this place several times over the last few years,always lovey atmosphere,staff always friendly and polite.Normally go just for drinks,slightly expensive but its location an atmosphere make up for it.This time we decided to try the food as well.My Wife’s paella was very nice,unfortunately my cheese burger was very dry and little if any cheese.Will probably return but maybe not for the food.It as very busy and a most of the tables were full but still service was good

Came here for my lunch today, we were told we can sit anywhere, the whole place had more staff than customers. Only 3 tables were filled, They took 20 minutes after we have gone to the bar to order and told that someone is going to come to our table to take our order. To tell us to go to the bar to order. After being sent back. The food came end of our lunch break. I tired to get the attention of one of the waiters however she just ignored me to my face and continued her conversation with her colleagues that did not include work. Not good service at all, it’s such a shame as the food was actually quite nice but the service was horrible.

Unbelievably, a bar that size and they had No red wine! Said had ran out over Xmas. Was 6 Jan when i visited. 50% off food was a good deal though but staff seemed to have difficulty processing it! We had booked for a large group but there were not enough chairs, took one from an empty table to use only to be told I'd have to give it up as they had another booking for that chair in twenty minutes! Don't think I'd rush back there

Came here for bottomless brunch yesterday for my birthday and it was worth every penny! Our server was absolutely great, he kept us entertained and wasn’t stingy with drinks, they were all made super quickly and the food was lovely too. Definitely recommend

Excellent place for rum officionados! 2 great rum & cokes with 2 of Havana Club's finest exports - the 15-y-o and the Selecione de Maestros... Well, they were out of 7-y-o!!

Surprisingly good Christmas party. Food was great and drinks choices were too. Plenty of room to accommodate large parties. Such a pleasant experience I would recommend for other functions.

Came here in a weekend and decided some tapas. The place is cashless which can be a bit of a pain. Overall the service was great, however the food was rather average and for what we got I thought it was expensive, we had around 4 maybe 5 dishes which came to over £40, which I don’t mind paying for good tapas but this was way off being decent, very bland and the prawns weren’t great. Really disappointed we will return for drinks as the atmosphere is great - but the food was a letdown and there are better places to eat in Leeds.

Went to this place for drinks. My drink was taken off a table by an over-zealous member of staff and when I complained to the manager she said that I shouldn’t have left my drink unattended! She was very rude and I guess she gets away with this sort of behaviour all the time. One of my other friends had their drink taken too. I found this out the morning after when speaking to him in the hotel. Not great when you’re paying close to £7 a drink! I’ve added a couple of pics from the night to prove I was there as the so called manager will probably claim I wasn’t! I would advise everyone to stay away from this place!! 👎

Sat at an unreserved table near the bar and ordered quite a few drinks for family. A member of staff approached my table and put down a card saying reserved and then told me I had to leave the table in 50 minutes. I found this extremely rude as a paying customer that someone has reserved a table that I’m sat at who isn’t even at the restaurant. You need to stop treating bookings as priority over customers already in the bar spending money. Won’t be back

A good night out a good selectionof beers and spirits. Food was nice but not worth the price. Paid an additional fee for steak and the smallest piece of beef brisket came on the plate. Not steak. Music was OK but the DJ put together some random songs which didn't link well with each other. Overall OK night.

Great cocktails and great atmosphere. We booked before hand and were seated immediately with our pre-ordered cocktails arriving within minutes. I recommend the raspberry colada!!

food was nice. atmosphere was great with the live music. we came around half 6 and wanted to order the 2 for 1 cocktails. we waited so long to get our order placed we didn't order drinks until 7 so we no longer qualified for the deal. no straws given with cocktails and too much ice. wouldn't come here again. the chicken was a very small portion but they were nice enough to get me another portion. the beef was a very small portion too. waitress was nice but it was very obvious she was doing it for tips because her attitude changed as soon as we paid the bill

Great atmosphere on the night we went inside for birthday drinks. The service could use a bit more fine tuning and decorum but overall a pleasant ambience.

We went for my nieces hen party, cocktail master class, which was hosted by Rosie, who was really lovely and made the experience even better. We were upstairs in a separate bar, so was nice and private. Cocktails were fab and was so much fun. We then had a table downstairs, which was very nice. Would definitely book the whole experience again

Came here for a bottomless brunch for my wife’s birthday staff first class food tastey but very little of it when our main meal came out thought it was a starter. Drinks are ok but nothing to shout about there are better places to go for a bottomless brunch than here

Went out for my husband’s birthday for a couple of drinks as we were in line to get in through call lane my husband said he wasn’t sure he wanted to stay out as he wanted to workout tomorrow morning. Kaz (had to ask other people for his name) immediately said “ you’re not coming in here” I said what wrong? My husband upset said ok we don’t want to go in anyways. At the same time. He jumped over the barrier they have for lines to get in and started to scream at a group of 6 “COME ON HIT ME I SAID WHAT I SAID” I obviously upset this was happening on a night that was supposed to be a celebration “what are you doing?” He continued to come at our group saying we needed to leave. I stood my ground saying if he wanted to talk to someone he could talk to me as I didn’t know what the issue was. He said we needed to leave as he was charging at us . Imran (asked for his name and gladly gave it to us) tried to de escalate the situation as a door man should, apologized and told us to just leave and was not with it. That angered Kaz and tried to talk to us again. Imran tried his best to descale the situation like a professional and succeeded. He told Kaz to leave and apologise to us which to be fair was not enough and didn’t apologise. Kaz ruined my husband’s birthday celebration with coworkers and friends because of his ego. I will not let this go and will continue to use social media to inform people of this horrible situation because things could easily gone bad and could got people hurt. Very disappointed and will never go into this place again.

Excellent visit, lovely cocktails and food and staff. A special mention goes to Yaz, what a lovely girl she is, excellent with us and even brought us a round of shots after our meal.. lovely personality, chatty and pleasant .. a credit to the restaurant.

I had the pleasure of attending a cocktail masterclass at this venue, and it was an absolute blast! The instructor took time to show us the steps and we had a great time mixing the drinks. We learnt both cocktails and mock-tails. I’ll definitely be using these newfound skills to impress guests at future gatherings. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and educational experience in mixology! Cheers! 🍹

Past it’s sell by date, this is aimed at every revolution not just this one just to clarify, however I do have to say there’s been a huge change within the last 3 years and it’s no longer an easy nice bar to visit. There seems to be so much room and very little seats, cashless is ridiculous also as cash is very much legal tender. It caters for large groups over by the bar making cocktails only ( probably an over priced activity for what it is) and although not a soul in there like there used to be, you still cannot find a seat as Casper the ghost has reserved every other table. Also every revolution seems to smell quite bad, this one was like a meat and potato pasty. Sort it out revs! Before you go under like wilko’s, which would be a shame!

The visit was my daughters Hen party and supposedly the finale to what was a great day. We booked the Cocktail Masterclass which was extremely disappointing- the bar staff were difficult to hear , had no personality , no interaction and it certainly wasn’t fun, Basically sat in a long line watching the bar staff make the cocktail then get invited to copy- much prefer Revolution -where they interact, play games, and have FUN, on a plus the food afterwards was tasty ,

Very boring place.They don't play any latino music... Sometimes we go with my friends hoping they'll play some good tunes and they are totally disappointed. They also charge you an entry ticket...so, don't pay for a bad party, Not worth it! If you're latina, don't go there!

Amazing service Julia was amazing

For years we have made this a stop off when in Leeds. The cocktails used to be lovely but we were really disappointed this time. They tasted like they were premade and syrupy. We had a carpirinah, strawberry daiquiri, mojito, espresso martini and a raspberry mojito, all of which we've had there previously but would not choose again. Its a real shame as we enjoy going to listen to the live music early evening. I hope it reverts back to its old ways.

We had a fab time yesterday celebrating my hen party. There was a large group of us and they catered really well for us. I had someone in the group that had a dietary requirement and gluten free food was served to them on a separate plate to everyone else so thankyou so much for that. We did bottomless brunch and they kept the drinks flowing. Thankyou to the staff that looked after us yesterday and a massive thankyou to Dan and Amy for helping me book this and dealing with every request I had. We loved it.

The air conditioning was on full blast, when there were barely any people in the venue. I left early as it was too cold.

2018> 4 stars. Awesome cocktails, tasty tapas, ask for the passion fruit caprianha extra sour! 2021> 1 stars. Time to look elsewhere for food and cocktails. Requesting an extra sour caipirinha gets a sweet one and they dont do passion fruit versions anymore. The lovely tapas menu is now a vegans dream... But not much appeal to a seafood loving carnivore that I be. Shame. 2022> 1 stars. Popped back in to see if Chris has delivered on returning Revolucion de Cuba Leeds to former glories. Caipirinha's were back for a while and have gone again sadly. 🥺 Sad to report, he food seems to be steadily getting worse. The fried calamari this time looked straight from freezer and even the previous highlight - Prawn Gambas Pil Pil now called Garlic and Chilli Prawns seems to not have the same balance of flavours. The only saving grace is Sundays 2 for 1 Tapas and cocktails deals means it's not too painful on the credit card. 2023> 4 stars. Service improved. Lots of smiles and Alex was very attentive. Atmosphere good, Custom cocktails fab, just miss the mojito prawns a little!

Visited this place last Saturday with Friends for few drinks and ended up staying all night. Great & fast service despite the venue being busy. Not overpriced and the dj played some nice tunes that kept us going. will be back !

The place was just awesome. There was live music and the ambience was wonderful. One of the most fun nights in a while for me.

We had fun celebrating our friend's 50th Birthday. The waiters were attentive and happy to serve us. We agreed that we would certainly will be going back!

Used to like this place but it's gone down hill rapidly. Not only have they started charging entry at any time they have also put their prices up a extortionate amount. £10 for a single vodka and coke in a tumbler 😒

Ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri. They have strawberry daiquiri on the menu. Was told they don’t do virgin strawberry daiquiris. Ordered a Diet Coke instead and it tasted like water. A complete dump.

I consider my stay in this restaurant a total failure. I came in with a great fun attitude and left totally frustrated. after placing the order, everything seemed to be fine, the waitresses worked perfectly, the drinks were delicious, when the tapas were brought to us, we immediately felt that the level of the restaurant had dropped, but regardless of this, we ordered the main courses, a burger, a sandwich and salad. we waited quite a long time for the order but we still had a great time after our order was delivered to us it turned out that there is no dressing for salad in the fold I kindly asked for only the dressing in the bowl unfortunately we didn't get it after 15 minutes after reporting the problem again it was suggested that they would bring a new fold I agreed which turned out I made a big mistake after 10 minutes my contribution was brought to me, unfortunately the salad was in a dressing with vinegar, it was impossible to eat it... I left very disappointed...

Came here on Saturday for the bottomless brunch. We pre-ordered our food which was really easy to do & the food arrived within 20 mins of us being sat at our table. It was all really well cooked & tasty. Not too much to make you feel stuffed but enough to make you feel comfortable. Within 5mins of being seated we had a glass of Mimosa each & they took out first drink order. As soon as a glass was nearly empty they came to our table to ask what drink would we like next, which is excellent as I’ve had other bottomless brunches where you struggle to get the next drink! They came over to give us a ten minute warning before the end of our time slot & also take our last drinks order. The atmosphere in this place is great, it’s a big place but the music is brilliant & the vibe is fantastic. Perfect afternoon brunch, will definitely be back, really enjoyed it.

Overall I loved the vibe of the bottomless brunch. The music and the food was delicious and the service was great (everyone was very lovely and was very polite). In all my years of living here, this was my first time and I would definitely come back again.
